  • The name of the department is not only a means of notifying the existence of the department, but also acts as an important indicator that includes the overall curriculum, specialization strategy, student management, and employment of the department. The importance of the department name, which is a collection of internal and external public relations, has emerged greatly, but the existing research related to this is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, the terminology used in the names of beauty departments at two-year colleges and four-year colleges nationwide is surveyed year by year to contribute to the establishment of developmental goals that the department should aim for and a systematic analysis for curriculum reform. As a result of the study, in 1994, 7 schools (41.18%) had the most skin care departments, and in 2005, 2013 and 2020, 'Beauty' was 50 cases (21.55%), 67 cases (28.03%), and 92 cases (34.20%), respectively. Through this study, it is possible to analyze the overall trend of the beauty industry, and it is expected that it will be used as basic data when promoting a department name change or opening a department in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the causal relationship of the structural model through approach motivation, avoidance motivation, and digital usage recognition in order to prepare a plan for coexistence with dental hygiene targeting 239 students from the dental hygiene department at a university in Gangwon-do. For statistical methods, SPSS Statistics 24.0 program and AMOS 21.0 were used. As a result of the structural equation model analysis, the motivation for approach was found to be significantly related to digital usage recognition and class satisfaction. In addition, digital usage perception was found to be significantly related to class satisfaction, and class satisfaction was shown to be significantly related to department satisfaction and department recommendation. Lastly, department satisfaction was significantly found in department recommendation. In other words, the coexistence plan with dental hygiene (department) is to expand the convergence of digital classes. In order to solve the problem, it is necessary for schools to establish facilities to expand teaching materials for practical classes and to devise teaching methods.

  • Dyslipidemia is a major risk factor for cardiovascular accidents (CVA) and heart disease, especially the ischemic type. Lowering of serum low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels is a primary measure for preventing atherosclerosis. Many medications are available for the treatment of dyslipidemia; however, these drugs have some side effects. Therefore, we treated dyslipidemia patients with Chunghyul-plus. Before treatment, patients' levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and LDL-C were measured on an empty stomach. Thereafter, patients were administered 1000 mg (2 capsules) of Chunghyul-plus two or three times a day for 2 weeks. After treatment with Chunghyul-plus, patients' serum triglyceride, LDL-C, and total cholesterol levels decreased. The results of this study suggest that Chunghyul-plus might be useful in the treatment of dyslipidemia.
