Design and Implementation of light loaded Web Application based on .NET (.NET기반의 저부하형 웹 애플리케이션 설계 및 구현)

  • 온라인상에서의 혼합형 서비스의 추세와 함께 보다 많은 정보들이 처리됨에 따라 웹 애플리케이션의 경우 서버의 부하를 가능한 줄이고, 처리속도를 향상시키기 위한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 웹 애플리케이션의 문제점을 분석하고, 최근에 등장한 .NET 기반의 저부하형 웹 애플리케이션 설계 및 구현 방법을 제안한다. 다중 접속시의 서버의 부하를 최소화하기 위하여, 관계형 데이터베이스를 설계하고 최소한의 모듈을 생성하였으며, SP를 이용하여 복잡한 SQL문을 단순화하여 데이터베이스의 부담을 줄여 서버의 처리능력을 향상 시켰다. 또한 User Control을 활용하여 페이지를 구성하여 페이지 처리 속도를 향상시켰으며, 스크립트를 활용하여 서버 언어를 이용한 작업을 최소한으로 줄였다. XML/EDI를 이용한 전자문서교환방식을 채택하고 관리비용을 줄일 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 저부하형 시스템을 학사관리 시스템 상에서 구현하여 기존의 방법에 비해 보다 효율적 시스템임을 보인다.

환경저부하형 신절연/소호매체 개발 동향

  • 우수한 절연성능과 소호성능을 가진 SF6 가스의 사용이 지구온난화 문제를 배경으로 국제적으로 규제되는 경향에 있다. 이 과정에서 환경을 배려한 차세대의 전력기기·시스템을 구축하기 위해 새로운 절연·소호매체의 개발이 시급한 과제로 대두되어 있다. 본 고에서는 SF6 대체가스의 절연특성에 관한 연구 동향과 SF6 대체가스의 아크 차단특성에 관한 연구 동향 등을 살펴보고, 향후 환경저부하형 신절연/소호매체 개발을 위한 연구 가제 등에 대해 기술해 보았다.

  • As Web services need to manage lots of information, it is indispensable to reduce server's load and speed up processing time. In this paper, we analyze the loading problems of server and suggest designing methods for light loaded Web applications based on .NET. The proposed methods include using a relative database to produce minimized modules and Stored Procedures to simplify SQL statements for reducing sever's load. Web pages are organized with scripts replacing server language, which improve server's capability by reducing loads. The execution time is also speeded up by organizing Web pages with User Controls. And XML/EDI is used for managing the effective exchange of documents. The proposed methods are implemented as an education management system and shows its effectiveness.

  • Minimally invasive cardiac surgery using AESOP (Automated Endoscope System for Optimal Positioning) offers certain advantages such as better a cosmetic outcome, a shortened post operative recovery time and a shorten hospital stay, and these advantages are not achieved by conventional cardiac surgery. We report here on our first robot-assisted (AESOP) left minithoracotomy surgery in a 26 year-old female with a subarteral ventricular septal defect, and this might have been treated by median sternotomy before the development of AESOP.

  • Since 2000 country region developmental policy has been to integrate not only the improvement of physical living environment but also various subjects on ecology, environment, scenery, local culture, and green tourism. This study has recently established a decentralized Rainwater Management plan in order to provide an hydrology cycle system to the eco-village being planned by Seocheon-gun as a part of the garden village development business promoted by the ministry of agriculture and forestry. Hydraulic conductivity of the subject area is measured at $10^{-7}{\sim}10^{-10}m/sec$, and a flowerbed-type rainwater Infiltration system capable of controlling a non-point pollution source that stems from the development-caused impermeable surface has been applied. In the case of rainwater flowing out from the main entrance way and parking lot within the complex being treated in the flowerbed-type rainwater infiltration system, natural purification effects via soil and plants as well as natural water cycling effects through evaportranspiration and infiltration are expected. The significance of this study, compared to conventional decentralized rainwater management being applied limited to the urban areas, is that it offers appropriate rainwater management planning based on the analysis of the current situation of the subject area. Decentralized Rainwater Management is a valuable measure both economically and ecologically that reduces the burdens on local underground water cultivation as well as rain water pipe lines or purification systems, and sewage pipes.

  • 감성은 인간의 생활에서 논리적 사고와 의사결정, 감정의 발생, 행동 등 모든 부분에 깊숙이 영향을 미치고 있어, 최근 감성의 개념을 도입한 공학적 제품의 도입이 활성화되어 여러 분야에 다양하게 사용 되어지고 있다. 그러나 감성을 평가함에 있어서는 단순한 해석의 의미 수준을 벗어 인간의 삶을 향상시키기 위한 제품이나 환경의 개발을 위해서는 인간의 감성을 정확하게 이해한다는 것은 체계적인 연구와 활용을 위한 선행 조건이라 할 수 있어, 생리신호등을 이용한 정량화된 감성평가 알고리즘의 개발 필요성이 있다. 특히, 최근 여러 IT기기들이 주변의 다양한 기술을 융합하여 다기능의 기기로 변모를 하고 있으며, 이러한 IT기기들에 인간의 감성을 평가할 수 있는 모듈을 부가하여 인간친화적인 기기로의 변모를 도모하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 측정이 용이한 소수의 생리신호만으로 간단하게 인간감성을 정량적으로 평가가 가능하며, SoC등에 간단하게 탑재할 수 있도록 시스템의 리소스를 적게 소비하는 소형 경량의 감성평가알고리즘을 개발하였다.

  • This paper explores the applications of feature-based representation and design in the area of design for manufacturing to incorporate the tooling and process considerations into the early stages of bonnet tool design. The goal of this research is apply the concepts of feature-based design and to development an interactive design tool using relations and arrive at optimal design for the given process conditions. This paper illustrates the development of a tool design aided system that was constructed using these concepts and applied to designing bonnet sheet metal parts.

  • A two-month-old female Yorkshire terrier was referred to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kyungpook national University. The patient was presented with a history of dyspnea, cough, exercise intolerance and abdominal distension, but she was appetence. In physical examination the puppy was coughed on slight tracheal compression. Rectal temperature, pulse and respiratory rate were normal, and grade 3/6 systolic murmur heard at the left heart base. The murmur was crescendo-decrescendo. Electrocardiography showed sinus arrhythmia, right-ventricular hypertrophy pattern, and right axis deviation. Thoracic radiography revealed cardiomegaly, bulging of the main pulmonary artery, and enlarged left side heart. Abdominal radiography revealed abdkominal distention. Echocardiography showed hypertrophy of right ventricle and turbulence in the pulmonary artery in parasternal oblique view. Subvalvular pulmonic stenosis was diagnosis based upon the clinical signs, physical examination, electrocardiography, radiography and echocardiography. We treated the patient with furosemide, enalapril and $\beta$-blocker. After the clinical signs of cough, abdominal distension and dyspnea were disappeared, she was on just $\beta$-blocker for prevention of occurrence of congestive heart failure. Now she was recovered her health, and she is not on any medication.

  • A furan mold design and machining system for marine propeller casting was developed. In general, a large marine propeller is produced by casting in a foundry, where the upper and lower molds are constructed of cement or other materials like furan. Then, the cast workpiece is machined and manually ground. Currently, furan mold construction requires a series of manual tasks. This introduces a fairly large amount of stock allowances, which require a considerable number of man-hours for later machining and grinding, and also increase the work processes. A mold design and off-line robot programming software tool with a six-axis robot hardware system was developed to enhance the shape accuracy and productivity. This system will be applied in a Korean ship building company.

  • In terms of climate change communities have only during the 1990s begun to recognize that all greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions are directly or indirectly generated locally, through acts of agency, production or consumption. This has provided a boost to the role of local places in the debate since GHGs can be allocated and made understood locally and hence form the basis for specific policies, programs, plans and projects. The objectives of this study are to define a framework for making Environmentally Friendly City through enhancing integrated energy-urban policies and present framework to do comprehensive evaluation on energy related policies response and also explore the interrelation between energy related activities in each sector and policy and applies to Seoul mega city in Korea. Despite the growing recognition of the seriousness of urban environmental problems and their contribution to global environmental and social concerns, most analysts continue to study cities in parts rather than as a whole; we study sectoral sub-systems such as transport, air pollution or energy. While specialization is useful for detailed thinking, we also need to see each issue in the context of how each city works environmentally, economically, socially and politically. We therefore need integrative approaches to study of cities and need to understand how they function as systems. These framework presented in this study allows an organized and systematic analysis. These research results can provide useful, credible and timely input into the urban planning process. This study will be a helpful exercise to draw some policy implications of other cities in Korea and also East Asia that are in a similar stage with the these cities and developing plans on how to address them.
