The increase in the elderly population and growing interest in skin beauty, alongside specialized scientific examination of natural substances, have led to a rise in the utilization of natural materials. This paper investigates the types of natural substances, the functionality of extracts, and extraction technologies based on the literature that utilizes natural ingredients to mitigate skin aging. To directly assess the impact of functional materials derived from natural products on skin aging mitigation, the functionality of the extracts was determined based on their ability to synthesize Procollagen and reduce MMP-1. Each natural product is categorized into plants, herbal medicines, and microalgae in the literature utilizing the above evaluation methods. This paper describes the extraction technologies for securing functional materials from each ingredient and the main outcomes, providing trends in research on extraction technologies for functional materials aimed at alleviating skin aging

In order to verify whether the serum using the medicinal plant Coptis japonica is effective in anti-aging of the skin, the improvement rate was analyzed by measuring the skin elasticity and radiance of the subjects, and the satisfaction was evaluated through a questionnaire. Twenty-two female subjects were given a serum containing 3% Coptis Japonica extract on one cheek for 4 weeks, and the test site was measured, and the skin elasticity increased by 5.73% from 0.8505 ± 0.0395 R2 (mm) before use to 0.8993 ± 0.0234 R2 (mm) after 4 weeks. Skin glow increased by 4.74% from 55.94 ± 5.49 (a.u.) to 58.59 ± 4.66 (a.u.), and the probability of significance was p<0.001, indicating a significant increase in the improvement rate of both items. It was found that all subjects were 100% satisfied with the improvement of elasticity and 95.5% satisfied with the improvement of radiance, and no skin abnormalities were found during the trial period. These results are expected to be used as basic data for future research and product development of anti-aging functional cosmetics using Coptis Japonica extract.

한국환경포장진흥원(원장 전명화)이 친환경 포장기술 및 녹색 포장디자인 개발을 촉진하기 위해 매년 개최하고 있는 제7회 그린패키징 공모전 시상식을 지난해 12월 12일 쉐라톤서울팔래스호텔에서 개최했다. 친환경 포장을 통한 자원 절약과 녹색성장, 녹색소비 생활에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 하는 그린패키징 공모전은 올해 일반 부분 13개 기업에서 15점, 학생 부문 15개교에서108점등 총 113점의 작품이 출품됐다. 일반부문에서는 대상인 환경부 장관상은 (주)풀무원과 CJ제일제당이 수상했고, 최우수상인 한국환경포장진흥원 이사장상은 현진제업과 LG전자가 수상했다. 우수상인 한국환경포장진흥원 원장상은 LG생활건강과 티레모, 특선은(주)피부다움, 휴면IDB, (주)풀무원 등이 수상했다. 학생부문에서는 강원대학교 이재성 학생이 대상을 수상하는 등 총 18점 작품이 수상을 했다. 다음에 제7회 그린패키징 공모전의 수상작들을 살펴본다.

피부는 항시 산소와 접촉하고 있고 자오선 조사에 크게 노출되어 있다. 따라서, 활성산소종으로 유도된 피부의 광산화적 손상 위험이 실질적으로 증가하고 있다. 활성산소종이란 한 무리로서 수퍼옥사이드 음이온과 히드록실 라디칼과 같은 산소 중심의 라디칼을 포함할 뿐만 아니라, 과산화수소나 싱글렛 옥시전과 같은 몇 종류의 비라디칼종들, 그 외의 다른 것으로, 활성산소종과 생체 성분과의 반응으로 유래된 과산화 라디칼, 알콕실 라디칼, 히드로과산화물 식세포에서 살균작용을 나타내는 HOCl등을 포함한다. 피부에는 복잡한 항산화 방어망이 발달되어 활성산소종에 대항하여 보호작용을 한다. SOD, 카탈라아제, 글루타치온퍼옥시다제 등의 항산화효소와 $\alpha$-토코페롤, 아스코르브산, 카로티노이드 등의 비효소적 항산화 물질들이 피부 항산화 방어망을 구축하고 있다. 그러나 계속된 자외선에의 노출로 생성된 과잉의 활성산소종은 실질직으로 피부의 효소적 그리고 비효소적 항산화 방어를 위태롭게 한다. 따라서 균형은 산화상태 쪽으로 유리하게 기울어진다 결과적으로 산화적 스트레스는 세포 성분들에 대한 손상을 야기시킨다. 지질 과산화, 단백질 산화, 탄력 섬유인 콜라겐과 엘라스틴의 사슬절단 밀 비장성적인 교차결합, 히아루론산 사슬의 절단, 멜라닌 생성반응 촉진, DNA 산화와 같은 생체 구성 성분들의 손상이 일어난다. 결국에는 탄력감소, 주름살 및 기미, 주근깨 등으로 특징 지워지는 피부노화가 가속화된다. 따라서 필요한 항상화제를 함유한 식품이나 화장품을 통한 계속적인 항산화제 보충으로 피부 항산화 방어망을 견고히 할 때 피부노화는 지연되고 억제될 것이다.주거를 구분하고 있는 것으로 조사되었으나, 아직까지 절반 가량(52.2%)의 상점들이 다른 사람 소유의 건물을 전 ·월세로 임대하여 사용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상에서 살펴본 바와 같이 고수동굴 주변의 상업적 특성은 90년대에 들어서면서 자기 고장에 있는 관광자원을 내 고향의 자랑거리로 생각하고 이를 지역발전의 밑거름으로 활용하고자 하는 인식이 늘어나고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, 관광지로서의 특성이라 할 수 있는 다른 관광동굴과의 차별성이 부족하다고 할 수 있다. 즉 다른 지역의 기념품점에서 구입할 수 없는 고수동굴만이 갖고 있는 특징적인 기념품을 판매함으로써 관광객의 구매욕구를 높인다거나 고수동굴의 일주관광 후 관광객을 좀 더 머무르게 할 수 있는 시설의 개발이 더 필요하다.유의한 차이를 나타내는 항목이 많았으며 12주에서 vehicle과 유의적인 차이를 나타내는 항목도 많으므로 3-APPA가 APSA 보다 광범위한 피부노화 억제 효과를 갖는 물질이라고 할 수 있다.주도적 역할을 수행해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 선박금융제도의 개선과 신금융상품의 개발이 요구된다. 내수 수요인 계획조선의 지원조건을 개선하고 연불수출자금을 BBC자금으로 활용토록하여 국내 선주들의 신조를 유도해야 할 것이다. 그 외에 향후 금융개방화에 맞추어 해외자금을 활용한 리스금융, 상사금융 등의 민간신용제도를 더욱 활성화하고 선진국의 선박금융기법에 대한 연구 및 도입 등 선주들에게 다양한 선박건조자금을 제공하여 내수기반 확충에도 노력해야 할 것 이다.있었다., 인삼이 성장될 때 부분적인 영양상태의 불충분이나 기후 등에 따른 영향을 받을 수 있기 때문에 앞으로 이에 대한 많은 연구가

Hydroxyproline and Pro-Hyp dipeptide are the digestive products of collagen hydrolysate called collagen peptide. Some suggested that collagen peptides could improve aged or damaged skins, however, the effects of collagen peptides on the skin have not been known. In this study, we investigated the effects of digestive products of collagen peptides, hydroxyproline and Pro-Hyp dipeptide on skin quality using the UV-damaged dorsal skin of hairless mouse as a model system. Female SKH hairless mice were pre-irradiated with UV for 7 weeks, and then hydroxyproline, Pro-Hyp dipeptide were orally administered for 7 weeks with UV irradiation. Wrinkle formation (by replica image), skin elasticity, barrier status (by TEWL, transepidermal water loss), epidermis thickness, and biophysical changes in the stratum comeum (by hematoxylin & eosin staining) were examined. With the oral peptide treatment, effects such as skin barrier maintenance, anti-skin thickening, and recovery of the stratum corneum were observed. These results indicate that oral intake of collagen peptides may have beneficial effects on damaged skin cells.

전 국민의 85% 정도는 한 번쯤 겪는다는 피부 불청객 '여드름'. 여드름은 주로 사춘기에 발생하여 20대 중반에 사라지지만, 2,30대에 시작해 수년간 지속되기도 한다. 특히 사춘기 여드름은 성호르몬의 영향으로 주로 피지 분비가 왕성한 이마나 볼, 등, 앞가슴에 많이 생긴다.

며칠 전 졸업반 4학년 학생들을 인솔하고 산업체 현장 견학을 다녀왔다. 지난해말 한국을 강습한 IMF 한파 이후 처음 있는 현장 방문이라 여러 가지 면에서 감회가 새로웠다. 일차적으로 김포공항에서 탑승한 부산행 항공기의 현격한 승객 감소가 피부로 와 다았다. 예년 같으면 아침 시간에 좌석배정 카운터가 매우 혼잡할 텐데 별로 힘들지 않게 좌석 배정을 받고 탑승할 수 있었다. 위축된 기업환경과 가계로 인하여 비싼 항공출장과 관광 승객이 대폭 줄은 탓 같았다.

To investigate the influence of hand cream of domestic and foreign brands on the purchase tendency, a survey was conducted on hand cream application, purchase tendency, and perception of 105 women in a metropolitan area. Market research was then conducted to compare the hand cream cost, quantity, and total substance, and the hand creams were sorted according to high-price and low-price, and foreign brand and domestic brand, and a clinical demonstration was conducted by back-hand application on 17 recipients to analyze the moisture and skin oil differences and the moisture endurance. As a result, the percentage of subjects who perceived that the price and brand of hand cream affects the quality was higher than those who did not, and the hand cream prize per 1mg (g) varied as much as fourfold among the high-price and low-price, and among foreign and domestic brands. The result of the total substance comparison, glycerin the moisturizer and cetearyl alcohol the skin conditioner were included in all hand creams. As a result of the clinical demonstration, the difference in moisture and skin oil difference and moisture endurance between the high-price and low-price and foreign brand did not show a statistically significant difference. These results show that there are no relationships between skin moisture and sebeum of the brand. Therefore, considering that hand cream is a highly consumptive product that is used multiple times on a daily basis, these results might provide fundamental data that could contribute to the increase in hand cream product quality by determining the consumers' needs.

Implantation of malignant cells along the needle aspiration tract is an extremely rare potential complication following a percutaneous fine needle aspiration biopsy of a lung carcinoma. The dissemination of malignant cells by a needle aspiration biopsy may convert an operable and potentially curable lesion into a fatal disease. We report two cases of chest wall implantation of carcinoma of the lung after a thin needle aspiration biopsy. A fifty-five year old male was successfully treated by a radical full-thickness excision of the chest wall and immediate reconstruction with the latissimus dorsi musculocutaneous island flap. A sixty-eight year old female was treated with a partial-thickness excision of the chest wall and skin graft due to superimposed infection and ulceration of the metastatic chest wall carcinoma. One case lived for 31 months up to November 1994, and the other's condtion has been uneventful for 3 months up to now.
