  • In this paper, provide the optimal sleep environment of individual by extracting the simulation model based on that collect sleep environment data of bedroom to sleeping, and analyzing the relationship between conditions with obtained data and sleep. In addition, it was to provide a more stable sleep solution by defining different and pattern from sleep situation according to physical condition such as fatigue ratio, alcohol ratio, fasting ratio, etc. depending on the sleep process. Therefore, it change the proper indoor environment and help to enjoy life more pleasant.

Relationship Between Job Stress and Fatigue Symptoms Among Nurses in a University Hospital (대학병원 간호사들의 직무스트레스와 피로수준과의 관련성)

  • The present study was intended to measure the level of fatigue symptoms among nurses working for a university hospital and to reveal its related factors. The self-administered questionnaires were given to 450 nurses during the period from October 1st to 31st, 2010. As a results, the level of fatigue symptoms were 75.1% in normal group, and the high-risk group 24.9%. The level of fatigue symptoms reflected in job stress contents were higher as job demand was higher, and the autonomy of job and the supervisor support was lower. In correlations, fatigue symptoms were found to be in a positive correlation with job demand, whereas in negative correlation with autonomy of job and supervisor support. The adjusted odds ratio of fatigue symptoms on job demand were significantly increased in the high risk group than in low group, but autonomy of job. were significantly decreased in the high risk group than in low group. In conclusion, the study results indicated that the level of fatigue symptoms is independently influenced by job stress contents.

Corrosion Fatigue Reliability-Based Life Cycle Cost Analysis of High-Speed Railway Steel Bridges (고속철도 강교량의 부식 피로신뢰성 기반 생애주기비용 분석)

  • As it recently appears that LCC (Life Cycle Cost) analysis may be considered as an essential method for economic evaluation of infrastructures. Many researches have been made to assess LCC of each facility based on reasonable methods. However, expected maintenance repair cost must be reasonably estimated to enhance the reliability of LCC analysis through systematic and rational methods. This study is intended to propose a rational approach to reliability-based LCC analysis of high-speed railway steel bridges considering lifetime corrosion and fatigue damage. However in Korea, since high speed railway steel bridges are only recently constructed, no direct statistical data are available for the account of the maintenance cost and thus their maintenance characteristics are not clear yet. In this paper, for the assessment of expected maintenance/repair cost, the fatigue system reliability analysis incorporating the corrosion effect is proposed by considering the corrosion and fatigue damage using measured data of high speed railway steel bridges. A model proposed by Rahgozar, of at for fatigue notch factor considering the corrosion effect is used in order to incorporate the corrosion effect into the fatigue strength reduction and S-N curve. Finally, the effectiveness of LCC model proposed for high-speed railway steel bridges is demonstrated by a numerical example.

Analysis of Concrete Flexural Strength and Surface Smoothness for Concrete Pavement Performance Based Payment Regulations (콘크리트 포장의 공용성 기반 지불규정 적용을 위한 콘크리트 휨강도 및 표면 평탄성에 관한 분석)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of concrete flexural strength and surface smoothness, which were pay factors of concrete pavements, on pavement performance, and to develop the methodologies to determine the proper allowable ranges according to the magnitudes of those pay factors. The concrete flexural strength was analyzed using the AASHTO, power, and linear fatigue failure models, and the surface smoothness was analyzed for the roughness indices of PSI, IRI, and PrI using the AASHTO model. The analysis results showed that the allowable range of the flexural strength should be determined using the rate between the deficiency and strength, and the penalty should be linearly proportional to the strength deficiency rate because the linear relationship between the strength deficiency rate and the reduction in pavement life was observed. As the initial surface smoothness became better, the smoothness deficiency rate should be larger. The penalty due to the surface smoothness deficiency should also be linearly proportional to the smoothness deficiency rate.

Mediating Effects of Relief from Fatigue through Sleep and Perceived Subjective Health in the Relationship between Perceived Stress and Subjective Happiness in Middle School Who Attempted Suicide (자살시도 중학생의 스트레스와 주관적 행복감 (주관적 건강인지와 잠으로 피로회복정도의 평행다중매개모델))

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the difference in the mediating effects of relief from fatigue through sleep and perceived subjective health in the relationship between perceived stress and subjective happiness in middle school students who attempted suicide. The analysis was conducted using Path analysis, the Bootstrapping method, Phantom variable and Multiple group analysis by AMOSS using the IBM SPSS 23 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23 programs with 820 middle school students who attempted suicide in the past 12 months using the raw data of the Korea Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey (2016). In the relationship between perceived stress and perceived subjective health, the indirect effect of relief from fatigue through sleep and perceived subjective health (${\beta}=-.12$, p=.003) was statistically significant. The difference in the magnitude of the two indirect effects was found to be greater for the subjective health status than for relief from fatigue through sleep (difference = .02, p=.028) and the effects were greater for the males (${\beta}=.44$, p <.001) than for the females (${\beta}=.23$, p<.001). Based on the findings, it is necessary to develop and apply an educational program that includes the factors that contribute to improving the happiness of middle school students.

  • 풍력발전에 사용하는 풍력터빈의 블레이드의 적어도 20년 이상의 설계수명이 요구된단. 블레이드는 바람에 의한 압력, 지지대 구조에 의해서 가해지는 힘과 모멘트에 의해 블레이드에 변형이 가해진다. 특히 바람에 의해 블레이드는 연속적인 하중을 받아서 재료를 손상시킨다. 본 연구에서는 블레이드와 허브로 구성된 모델을 이용하여, 전산유체해석을 일차적으로 수행하여 블레이드 주변의 압력분포를 구하였다. 계산된 압력을 이용하여 다음 단계로 유한요소해석을 수행하여 블레이드 재료에 발생하는 응력을 계산하여 피로해석을 수행하였다. 피로해석을 통해 재료에 미치는 손상률을 구하였다. 다양한 블레이드 피치 각도과 바람의 속도에 따라 해석결과를 비료 분석하였다.

  • Although the strengthening effect of deteriorated concrete bridge decks has been studied by various authors, most researches are focused on the experimental works on the pulsating loading in laboratory in spite of deterioration of deck caused by moving vehicle loads. In this research, a theoretical live load model that was proposed to reflect an effect of moving vehicle loads is formulated from a statistical approach on the measurement of real traffic loads for various time periodsin Korea. Fatigue life and strengthening effect of strengthened bridge decks strengthened with either Carbon Fiber Sheet or Grid typed Carbon Fiber Polymer Plastic by the probabilistic and the reliability analyses are assessed. As a results, secondary bridge deck (DB18) strengthened with FRP ensures a sufficient fatigue resistance against the increased traffic loads as well as load carrying capacity in life cycle.

  • Cold and hot-rolled carbon steel sheets are commonly used in railroad cars or commercial vehicles such as the automobile. The sheets used in these applications are mainly fabricated by spot welding, which is a type of electric resistance welding. However, the fatigue strength of a spot-welded joint is lower than that of the base metal because of high stress concentration at the nugget edge of the spot-welded part. In particular, the fatigue strength of the joint is influenced by not only geometrical and mechanical factors but also the welding conditions for the spot-welded joint. Therefore, there is a need for establishing a reasonable criterion for a long-life design for spot-welded structures. In this thesis, ${\Delta}P-N_f$ relation curves have been used to determine a long-life fatigue-design criterion for thin-sheet structures. However, as these curves vary under the influence of welding conditions, mechanical conditions, geometrical factors, etc. It is very difficult to systematically determine a fatigue-design criterion on the basis of these curves. Therefore, in order to eliminate such problems, the welding residual stresses generated during welding and the stress distributions around the weld generated by external forces were numerically and experimentally analyzed on the basis of the results, reassessed fatigue strength of gas welded joints.

  • 인간의 사고 및 행동능력은 환경부하, 작업의 내용 등 외부환경에 큰 영향을 받는다. 선박운항 시, 인간-기계시스템 환경에서 항해사의 일정한 수준 이상의 판단 및 조선능력은 안전운항을 위해 매우 중요한 요소이다. 특히 협수로 항해시, 선박통항량이 많은 해역을 항해할 경우 선교에서의 작업부하가 커지고 그로 인한 피로 및 긴장에 의한 심신 기능이 저하되어, 항해사의 조선(操船)능력에 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. 그러나 선박운항 또는 입출항 시 항해사의 생리적, 심리적 스트레스를 측정하여 계량화한 연구는 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웨어러블 심박수 측정장치를 이용하여 항해사의 심박수 변화를 측정 분석하고, 항해사의 선박 운항작업 시 발생하는 스트레스를 계량화하여 모델을 개발하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다.

A Study on Safety Accidents Caused by Pump Car Boom Defects (펌프카 Booms 결함으로 발생하는 안전사고 고찰)

  • 본연구는 콘크리트 타설과정에서 반복되는 펌프카 사고를 예방하기 위해서 설계 및 제작의 품질관리와 현(現))정기검사 기준을 개선해야 한다는 점을 제안하며, Booms 파단 사고 예방대책 제시가 목적이고, 최근 1~2년 사이에 발생한 펌프카 기계적 결함 사고의 현황조사와 사고 특징을 분석하고, 펌프카 장비의 검사기준 및 조정원의 자격과 기능교육 기준 마련의 필요성 확인한다. 붐대의 안전성 확인하기 위해서는 선행연구의 구조적 안전성 평가와 최대응력 부위에 대한 선행연구의 유한요소 해석모델 자료를 재분석하고, 2단 붐이 타설중 가장 많은 힘을 받는지와 파괴 가능성을 확인한다. Booms의 유한요소 모델 해석 결과 펌프카는 타설 과정에서 진동으로 피로 하중을 받을 수 있다는 동적해석과 정적해석 재검토 결과 가장 취약한 부위는 2단 붐이었으며, 2st 붐은 제작단계에서 부재 두께를 증가시키고, 상단부에 철판 보강을 권장한다. 펌프카 사고를 방지하기 위해서는 제조사는 생산단계에서 2st Boom 상단에 보강판 부착이 필요하고, 정기검사 비용 현실화와 비파괴 검사를 의무 검사로 반영이 필요하다고 제언한다.
