  • 본 논문에서는 백열등 조도 조절용 조광기에 호환 가능한 LED 구동회로를 제안한다. 조광기와 일반적인 LED 구동회로를 연결할 경우 트라이악(Triac)의 오동작에 의해 플리커(Flicker) 현상이 발생하는 문제점을 지니고 있다. 트라이악의 오동작을 방지하기 위해서는 트라이악에 일정 크기 이상의 전류가 인가되어야 하며 이를 만족하기 위한 조광기 호환회로가 필수적이다. 이러한 호환회로로써 수동 블리더(Passive Bleeder)는 전 동작 구간에서 전력소모가 발생하는 단점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문의 제안회로는 역률 만족을 위 해 Valley-fill 회로를 적용하였으며 트라이악의 오동작 시점을 정확히 검출하여 새로운 방식의 능동 블리더(Active Bleeder)를 적용함으로써 조광기의 오동작을 방지하면서 수동 블리더에 비해 효율이 개선되는 장점을 지닌다. 또한, Valley-fill과 인덕터를 적용한 1단 구성으로 효율개선 및 역률 개선의 장점과 입력 전류 리플의 감소로 인한 EMI 노이즈 저감 효과를 나타낸다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 13W급 조명용 LED 구동회로의 시작품 제작을 통해 그 우수성을 확인한다.

A Comparative Study on the Quantitative Analysis of the Flicker Phenomena in the Amorphous-Silicon and Poly-Silicon TFT-LCDs (비정질 및 다결정 실리콘 TFT-LCD에서의 플리커(flicker) 현상 비교 분석 연구)

  • In this paper, we present results of the comparative analysis of the flicker phenomena in the poly-Si TFT-LCD and a-Si:H TFT-LCD arrays for the development and manufacturing of wide-area and high-quality TFT-LCD displays. We used four different types of TFTs; a-Si:H TFT, excimer laser annealed (ELA) poly-Si TFT, silicide mediated crystallization (SMC) poly-Si TFT, and counter-doped lateral body terminal (LBT), poly-Si TFT. We defined the electrical quantity of the flicker so that we could compare the flickers quantitatively for four different 40" UXGA TFT-LCDs. We identify three factors contributing to the flicker, such as charging time, kickback voltage and leakage current, and analyze how much each of three factors give rise to the flincker in the different TFT-LCD arrays. In addition, we suggest and show that, in the case of the poly-Si TFT-LCD arrays, the low-level (minimum) gate voltages should be carefully chosen to minimize the flicker because of their larger leakage currents compared with a-Si TFT-LCD arrays.

  • The International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) 61000-4-15 is a standard proposing techniques for a flicker meter test and measurement method. The IEC61000-4-15 ed1 announced in 1997 was not include tests for accurate verification. Also it was not explained flicker meter algorithm that can be directly applied to the other power systems. But the new edition of IEC61000-4-15 ed2 prescribes a variety of tests for verify flicker meter algorithm and it explains 'correction factor' used for measuring flicker in other power systems. It can measure flicker severity in 220V system by multiplying correction factor to the measured values with the 230V algorithm. This paper compared the method of measuring flicker severity in korea power system using the correction factor and the modified weighting filter, after verifying of digital flicker meter algorithm created by using matlab based on IEC61000-4-15 ed2.

The Development of a High Efficiency Luminaires Reflector for Tunnel Lighting (터널용 고효율 조명기구 반사판의 개발)

  • Tunnel lighting in Korea has the problems of unsatisfactory illuminance uniformity which obstructs driver's vision, a flicker phenomenon on wall of tunnel, a heavy glare, low efficiency of luminaires, low utilization factor, and high energy consumption. We developed a high efficiency luminaire reflector for tunnel lighting which removes these problems. Developed luminaire saves energy and improves lighting environment by increasing 10% of luminaire efficiency. It can reduce installation cost by decreasing the number of luminaires, while average illuminance of 200[lx], overall uniformity of 0.4, longitudinal uniformity of 0.7, and electric power consumptions per unit area of 3.7[W/m$^2$] are accomplished.

스마트폰 카메라 및 보안 스티커 검출 방법

  • This paper proposes a method for detecting automatically a smartphone camera in order to put a security stickers and detecting security sickers to recognize whether the removable security sticker or not. The method reduce the time that a person put a security stickers and check the stickers whether the removable stickers at rush hour. It is significantly low to detect rate if the image quality is poor low by LED light flickering phenomenon at the time of the camera detection of the smartphone. Therefor, in this paper, it implement the method that detecting camera to inspect frequently degree after applying the adaptive threshold. Further, in order to recognize whether the removable security sticker or not implement the sticker region detection method using a color filter. The proposed method could increase detecting ratio than earlier methods with LED light flickering phenomenon. In addition, it was also high security sticker detection ratio.

  • 오늘날 인터넷의 빠른 보급으로 인하여 웹 상에 생성되는 문서의 양은 하루가 다르게 늘어나고 있다. 이러한 엄청난 양의 문서들 중 사용자는 자신이 원하는 정보가 담긴 문서를 얻기 위해서는 직접 문서를 검토해야 하며, 많은 시간이 투자 된다는 어려움이 있다. 이러한 사용자들의 어려움을 줄이기 위하여 문서의 핵심을 유지하며 양을 줄이는 다중문서요약기업에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 효율적이고 빠른 문서 요약을 위하여 폭소노미 시스템인 플리커를 통하여 문서 내에 존재하는 각 단어들의 클러스터를 획득하고, 이를 기반으로 단어들의 중요도를 분석하여 중요문장을 추려내는 다중문서요약 기법을 제안한다.

At captured image from camera, we using OpenCV library to implement various image processing techniques such like differential image, binarization image, contour extraction, remove noise(morphology open, close), pixel calculation, flickering extraction, etc.

  • This paper presents the test and operation results of the domestic demonstration of the reactive power compensation device called STATCOM (STATic COMpensator). The object of the paper is to describe the reliability of the unit based on the extensive operation databases. By controlling reactive power, the technology offers utilities the opportunity for increased efficiency and their capabilities will permit transmission planners make the best use of their existing transmission resources STATCOM is a custom power device in a way and can be used in a similar way for the dynamic compensation of power transmission systems, mitigation of voltage flicker and improving the power factor. It is shown that the STATCOM has clear advantages in areas such as: mitigation of voltage flicker and improving power factor.

  • 삼상 교류에 의한 플라즈마 발생 장치 중구리튜브 전극을 이용한 아크 글라이딩 식의 비이행형 플라즈마 발생장치는 전극구조가 간단하고 교체가 용이 할 뿐 아니라, 전극과 노즐의 형상을 유해 가스 처리에 충분한 엔탈피를 가지도록 설계될 수 있으므로, DC형과 더불어 차세대 환경정화용 핵심장치로 관심을 모으고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교류형의 특성상 어쩔 수 없이 발생하는 열플라즈마의 플리커를 제어하기 위해 글라이딩 아크의 움직임과 플라즈마 플래임의 움직임을 분석하여 열 플라즈마의 안정화 조건을 정립하고자 하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 조건에서 수행된 플라즈마에 관련된 수치해석과 플라즈마 발생기의 동작시험의 결과를 바탕으로 삼상교류 열플라즈마를 안정시킬 수 있는 기본적인 조건의 범위를 제시하였으며 이에 대한 토의를 기술하였다.

  • This paper analyzes the characteristic of gird connected photovoltaic power generation system which is available to connect the utility. Renewable energy photovoltaic power system has been linked to the system to analyze the impact of photovoltaic system. It is measured that power data for the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant with instantaneous measuring and 3-sec measuring for 7 days. Harmonic field measurements have shown that the harmonic contents of a waveform varies with time. A cumulative probability approach is the most commonly used method to solve time varying harmonics. So, it is used 50[%] cumulative probability approach. This paper provides an in depth analysis on power quality field measurement of the Grid connected photovoltaic power plant.
