Design of the Controllers for the Improved Response of Time Delay Systems (시간지연 시스템의 응답특성 개선을 위한 제어기 설계)

  • The practical control problems for the lime-delay system is considered. The delay-free characteristics of the Smith Predictor is available only when both the process and it's model are exactly matched. So it does not used widely in practical industrial processes. In this paper, using the 2nd-order plus dead time model in place of the plant model of the Smith Predictor, the proposed controller shows the improved performance in case of the very long time delay. And the range of integral constant of the PI controller is also proposed.

  • PI controller has been used in the servo system. However the time response of the system designed using the PI control scheme does not provide with desirable time response in case of variation in system parameters or perturbation like a torque disturbance. LMFC(Linear model following controller) is being used to make the response of the system follow that of the model even though the parameter variation or the perturbation occurs. In this paper, a design method, RMFC(Robust Model Following Controller) is proposed, which use an auxiliary model in addition to the LMFC, which affords robustness against the low frequency load torque disturbance. The proposed method is more useful to rejecting the low frequency torque disturbance than LMFC. Proposed method is verified by simulation and experiment.

Self -Tuning Scheme for Parameters of PID Controllers by Fuzzy Inference (퍼지추론에 의한 PID제어기의 파라미터 Tuning의 구성)

  • A PID parameter tuning method was presented by the fuzzy singleton inference, based on step response-shaping of plant and experience knowledge of expert. The parameter-tuning has tow levels. The higher level determines modified coefficients for the controller based on operator's tuning know-how for characteristics of plant which can not be modeled. The lower level determines specified coefficients based on characteristics of response by Ziegler-Nickel's bounded sensitivity method. The last level parameters tuning of a PID controller is adjusted which the modified and specified coefficients makes adjustment rule, and is adjusted the proper value to each parameters by fuzzy singleton inference. Moreover, proposed the tuning method can reflex exporter knowledge and operator's tuning know-how and fuzzy singleton inference is rapidly operated.

부유구조물 파랑응답 해석

  • 해양공간 활용을 위해 예상되는 부유식 해양구조물은 단위구조들이 결합된 형태의 초대형 구조물로서 단위 구조물간의 탄성변형 문제가 매우 중요시되고 있으며 이에 따라 단위구조물간의 상호작용이 고려된 유체력 산출과 탄성응답이 고려된 해석법의 개발이 전세게적으로 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 독립 부유구조물 자체의 크기가 대형화될 때 발생하는 탄성 변형 또한 구조 해석 및 진동관점에서 중요한 고려사항이며, 이는 조선공학분야에서 유탄성 해석기법에 바탕을 두고 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 본 고에서는 부유구조물의 설계에 있어 핵심기술중 하나인 파랑응답 해석기술의 현황에 대해 살펴보고 현재 한국기계연구원에서 수행중인 국책연구개발사업 "해양공간이용 대형 복합플랜트 개발"의 세부과제인 "부유구조물 파랑응답 해석기법 개발"의 추진내용에 대해 환경 하중/응답해석기술, 계류시스템 설계/해석기술, 유탄성응답 해석기술로 나누어 소개하고자 한다. 해석기술로 나누어 소개하고자 한다.

Analytical Study for Seismic Capacity Enhancement for Non-structural Elements in Power Plants (발전플랜트 시설 내부 비구조요소의 내진 안전성 향상을 위한 해석적 연구)

  • In the case of power plant facilities, seismic stability of non-structural elements is important. In particular, Cabinet structures to which electrical equipment is attached, should have functional safety against earthquakes. Therefore, in this study the dynamic characteristics of non-structural elements inside existing power plant buildings were identified and the response level generated during dynamic behavior was analyzed. In addition, The steel plate dampers were adopted and adjusted to suit the size of the target equipment. In order to derive the optimal seismic reinforcement, the variables according to the attachment location were set and the responses were analyzed by the seismic movement input before and after reinforcement.

  • 플랜트의 모델 없이 주파수 응답만으로 안정도와 여러 성능(이득여유, 위상여유, $H_{\infty}$ 여유)을 만족하는 1차 보상기 설계 이론이 최근에 발표되었다[1]. 그중 안정도를 만족하는 제어기의 셋을 구하는 것의 수치해를 [6]에서 제시하였고, 본 논문에서는 그것을 확장하여 여러 성능을 동시에 만족하는 셋을 구하는 알고리즘을 제시하고 그것을 이용한 MATLAB용 설계 도구를 소개한다.

Design of Hybrid Controller Using Neural Network-Fuzzy (신경망-퍼지 하이브리드 제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, we proposed a hybrid neural network-fuzzy controller which compensate a output of neural network controller. Even if learn by neural network controller, it can occur an bad results from disturbance or load variations. So in order to adjust above case, we used the fuzzy compensator to get an expected results. And the weight of main neural network can be changed with the result of loaming a inverse model neural network of Plant, so a expected dynamic characteristics of plant can be got. As the results of simulation through the second order plant, we confirmed that the proposed speed controller get a good response compare with a neural network controller. We implemented the controller using the DSP processor and applied in a hydraulic servo system. And then we observed an experimental results.

A Comparative Study on the Response Characteristics of the Semi-submersible Platform of a 15 MW Floating Offshore Wind Turbine System in Operational Conditions (15 MW급 부유식 해상풍력발전시스템 반잠수식 플랫폼의 운용 조건 중 응답 특성 비교 연구)

  • In this study, the response characteristics of two semi-submersible platforms with an IEA 15 MW reference wind turbine are compared. The nacelle acceleration, platform motion and generator power of FOWT applying a VolturnUS-S platform developed by the University of Maine and PentaSemi platform developed by the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering are compared in operational conditions. Numerical simulations are performed based on the marine environmental conditions of the U.S east coast. In the FOWT to which the PentaSemi platform is applied, the nacelle acceleration and platform pitch angle are rather high, but the results of both platforms satisfied the design criteria at all operating wind speeds. The platform yaw angle of PentaSemi platform to which a yaw control catenary mooring system is applied is significantly smaller than the platform yaw angle of VolturnUS-S. Also, despite the relatively large nacelle acceleration and platform pitch angle, the generator power is higher on the PentaSemi platform. This means that the generator power dominates the control system rather than the nacelle and platform motion.

  • 본 연구에서는 레이저 마킹 장비의 핵심 부분인 갈바노미터 제어 시스템을 구현하고, 기초적인 PID제어기를 설계하였다. 주파수 응답 분석 및 시뮬레이션을 통하여 플랜트 및 제어기의 특성을 분석하였으며, 실험 결과 잡음이 있기는 하지만 기능적으로 잘 동작함을 확인하였다.
