Profile control chart aims to detect a change in the functional relationship of multivariate characteristics in the statistical process control. In monitoring two variables, a linear profile is of interest composed of the intercept and slope of one variable (response variable) against the other (explanatory variable). The previous studies on monitoring of the linear profile mostly assume that the explanatory variables are the same for all profiles. However, there are also cases where they vary depending on profiles. This paper intends to extend the monitoring method to where explanatory variables are different for each profile. We compare the new method's performance through simulation and apply it to monitoring a network intrusion using NSL-KDD data.

본 연구에서는 정보 수집을 기반으로 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS를 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 프로파일 모니터링 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 가입자 단말기는 모니터링을 통하여 자신의 현재 상태 및 주변 기지국 정보를 수집하며, 기지국은 내부 및 인접한 기지국 모니터링으로 수집된 정보를 기반으로 관련 제어 데이터를 공유하고 이를 종합 분석함으로써 QoS를 자체적으로 제어할 수 있다. 제안되는 모니터링 기법은 단말기 및 기지국의 상태 정보 변화에 따라 관련 기능의 설정을 동적으로 제어하고, 각각의 기능들이 변화에 적응하여 조정되고 재구성하는 과정을 반복함으로써 각 기능들이 상호 작용하도록 유도한다.

컴퓨팅 환경에서 각종 보안 위협들의 핵심에는 악성 실행파일들이 있다. 전통적인 시그니처 기반의 보안 시스템들은 악의적인 실행파일들 중에서 알려지지 않은 것들에 대해서는 런타임 탐지에 어려움이 있다. 그러한 이유로 런타임 탐지를 위해 시그니처가 필요 없는 정적, 동적 분석 방법들이 다각도로 연구되어 왔으며, 특히 악성 실행파일을 실제 실행한 후 그 동작상태를 모니터링 하는 행위기반 동적 분석방법들이 많은 발전을 이루어왔다. 그러나 대부분의 행위기반 분석방법들은 단순히 몇 가지 행위나 비순차적인 분석정보를 제공하기 때문에, 차후 악성여부를 최종 판단하는 방법론에 적용하기에는 그 분석정보가 충분하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 악성 실행파일이 실행되는 동안 발생할 수 있는 행위들을 분류하고, 이를 모니터링 하는 프로토타입 프로그램을 구현하였다. 또한, 악성 실행파일을 직접 실행하는 것은 제한된 컴퓨팅 환경에서 이루어지기 때문에, 실제 악성 실행파일을 모니터링 한 결과를 토대로 행위기반 모니터링 방법이 극복해야 될 이슈들에 대해서도 언급하고 있다.

현재까지 진행된 프리페칭 연구는 프리페칭 시점을 정하기 위해 특정 프로세스의 함수 호출이나 파일 접근 패턴을 모니터링 한다. 하지만 프로세스의 실행과 동시에 주기적으로 수행되는 모니터링은 CPU, 메모리 오버헤드를 발생시켜 다른 프로세스의 성능저하를 유발한다. 따라서 CPU, 메모리 오버헤드를 최소화 할 수 있는 모니터링 기법을 도입해야한다. 본 논문은 inotify를 이용한 파일 트리거 방법을 사용해 주기적인 모니터링 없이 프리페칭 시점을 특정하고 의도한 시점에 프리페칭을 수행할 수 있다는 것을 보인다. 실험을 통해 프리페칭시 콜드 스타트보다 높은 처리량을 보였고 프리페칭 이후 스토리지 접근이 줄어들어 응답시간이 개선됨을 보였다.

Recent developments of process and measurement technology bring much interest to the online monitoring of process operations such as milling, grinding, broaching, etc. The objective of online monitoring systems is to detect process changes as early as possible. This is helpful in protecting facilities against unexpected failures and then preventing unnecessary loss. This paper investigates, when the process monitoring data are obtained as a profile, the monitoring performances of a statistical $T^2$-statistic and a feedforward neural network by using a wavelet transform. Numerical experiments using cutting force data presented by Axinte show that the proposed wavelet based $T^2$-test has an acceptable power in detecting profile changes. However, its operating characteristic is very sensitive to autocorrelation. On the contrary, compared with $T^2$-test, the neural network has more stable performance in the presence of autocorrelation. This indicates that an adaptive feature to analyze noises should be incorporated into the wavelet based $T^2$-test.

Many various researches about the PC execution process monitoring system have studied. Nevertheless, it is hard to find research of a system that multi-PC based each PC can be monitoring and reporting by file type. In this study, it designed and implemented that each PC can be monitoring and reporting by files to a server in multi-PCs' environments. Moreover it can gather and organize informations of reporting. It is expected users can recognize that execution processes are reporting. It causes to reduce execution unnecessary process.

현재 많이 사용되는 대부분의 J2ME 프로그램은 모바일 기기의 특성상 제한된 자원을 사용하며 입력 키 등에서 발생하는 이벤트(event)들을 처리하는 이벤트-구동 프로그램이다. 이벤트-구동 프로그램에서 이벤트의 효과적인 처리는 전체 프로그램의 안전성과 신뢰성뿐만 아니라 효율에 영향을 미칠 수 있으며 보통 디버깅이 어려운 특성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실행 중에 실시간으로 이벤트 발생 및 처리 정보를 보여줄 수 있는 모니터링 시스템을 설계 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 사용자 옵션에 따라 사용자가 관심 있는 이벤트만을 실행 중에 추적할 수 있으며 실행 후에 이벤트 관련 프로파일 정보를 제공한다. 또한 이 시스템은 코드 인라인 기법을 이용하여 실행시간 부담을 크게 줄였다.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 고객의 취향에 맞게 구성된 광고 및 정보서비스 제공을 위하여, 다수 에이전트와 광고 제공 기법을 이용하여 설계한 시스템구조와 프로토타입 시스템을 소개한다. 본 시스템에서는 고객의 프로파일을 작성하고, 구매성향 데이터를 저장하는 개인화 에이전트와 사용자의 행위를 모니터링하여 로그 파일에 저장하는 모니터링 에이전트 그리고 로그파일을 분석하여 개인화 서비스에 적용할 수 있는 유용한 마케팅 정보를 추출하는 분석 에이전트, 마지막으로 추출된 마케팅 정보와 구매력을 바탕으로 광고 선정 알고리즘을 이용하여 개인화된 광고 및 정보 서비스를 제공한다. 이러한 멀티 에이전트 기반의 인터넷 쇼핑몰구조는 전자상거래에서의 맞춤 서비스를 제공함으로써 고객의 지속적인 방문을 유도하고자 한다.

EAI(Enterprise Application Integration : 전사적 애플리케이션 통합)는 기업간 또는 기업 내부의 다양하고 이질적인 시스템과 애플리케이션 그리고 비즈니스 프로세서을 통합 하는것[1]이며, 본 논문에서는 어느 한쪽 프로세서가 중단되어도 다른 프로세서가 그 처리를 이어 받아서 중단없는 데이터 및 프로세스를 처리함으로써 기업의 전체 프로세스에는 영향이 없게하는 방법을 C API 프로그램의 구현을 통하여 증명함으로써 무중단 실시간 처리 시스템 구축에 도움이 될 것이며. 로그파일 모니터링 방법을 통한 실시간 모니터링에 대해서 설명하고, 앞으로의 발전방향에 대하여 논할것이다.

Exception mechanism in Java allows programmers to define, throw and catch exceptional conditions. It is important for the development of reliable programs to make sure that exceptions are handled appropriately at run-time. In this paper, we develop an exception monitoring system, which can help programmers trace and handle exceptions effectively. Using this system, programmers can examine exception handling process in detail by tracing only interesting exceptions, and can handle exceptions more effectively. To reduce performance overhead, we design the system based on code instrumentation. Moreover, we show the effectiveness of the system by experiments on benchmark programs.
