6 시그마는 기존의 많은 방법론을 통합하고, 대상범위를 확대하여 조직적 활동, 전사적 활동으로 유도하는 체계성을 가지고있는 것으로 기존의 품질경영 기법과 완전히 다른 것은 아니다. 따라서 6 시그마를 효과적으로 도입하기 위해서는 기존의 기법이나 방법들이 바탕이 되어야 한다. 국내 기업들이 많은 초기비용을 투입하여 6 시그마를 적용하는 것은 프로젝트수행으로 인한 기대효과 때문이지만 기존의 방법이나 기법들을 무시하고 처음부터 다시 시작하는 것은 인력이나 장비운용의 비효율적인 부분이 적지 않고, 그에 따른 비용낭비도 적지 않게 발생하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 6 시그마 프로젝트 선정에 기존의 신제품 설계에 주로 적용해 오던 품질기능전개와 효율성 평가에 적용되어 오던 DEA를 어떻게 적용시킬 수 있는지를 알아보고자 한다.

6시그마는 현재 전 세계를 강타하고 있는 경영철학이며 그 적용분야가 산업 전 부문에 이르고 있다. 현재까지 국내에서의 6시그마 활동을 보면 대부분 제조업 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 실제로 우리나라 산업을 살펴보면 서비스업이 차지하는 비중이 대단히 높으며 그렇기에 충분한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대표적 서비스 기업인 A호텔에서 진행된 6시그마 프로젝트 중 에너지 비용절감 프로젝트에 관하여 소개하고자 한다.

본 연구는 건설산업 현장 프로젝트조직의 프로젝트사업 참여자 간 지식공유·활용이 조직몰입 및 협력과 현장 프로젝트 성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구에서는 건설산업 현장 프로젝트조직의 특성을 분석하고자 본사 인력을 제외한 현장 프로젝트사업 참여자를 대상으로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 구조방정식을 이용하여 현장 프로젝트사업 참여자 간 지식공유·활용이 조직몰입 및 협력과 프로젝트 성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치는지 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 한다.

This paper deals with modelling and introducing of the project portfolio construction and evaluation problem under uncertainty. The common way in industry of managing project portfolio is construction of initial portfolio considering uncertainties which exist inside and outside of portfolio, and periodic revision of portfolio due to the deviation from plans. In this paper, we introduce algorithm which reflecting the industrial common practice of initial planning and periodic revision. With this simulation method, probabilistic distribution of portfolio's performance in consideration can be found.

본 논문에서는 한 중소기업을 상대로 진행된 게이트 도장 품질 개선을 위한 6시그마 프로젝트 과정을 소개한다. 프로젝트는 6시그마 개선활동의 로드맵인 DMAIC 절차를 따라 진행하였다. 먼저 Define 단계에서는 고객요구사항 파악을 위해 VOC 기법을 활용하여 CTQ를 선정하였다. Measure 단계에서는 프로세스 맵, 특성요인도, XY 매트릭스, FMEA등을 이용하여 주요 인자들을 규명하였다. Analyze 단계에서는 상관분석, ANOVA, 그래프 분석 등 각종 통계적 기법을 활용해 핵심입력변수인 'Vital Few's'를 규명한 후, Improve 단계에서 DOE를 통한 최적조건을 도출하였다. 또한 Control 단계에서는 최적조건을 유지하기 위한 관리계획 및 실수방지, 표준화 기법을 도입하였다. 이러한 개선 활동을 통해 개선 전 2.957 시그마 수준의 품질을 3.66 시그마 수준까지 높일 수 있었으며, 6천 3백만원의 비용절감을 할 수 있었다. 또한 본 논문에서는 중소기업에서의 프로젝트 진행의 문제점을 제시하였고, 그 해결방안에 대해서도 논하고자 한다.

6시그마 프로세스는 정의(Define), 측정(Measure), 분석(Analyze), 개선(Improve), 관리(Control)라는 다섯 스텝을 통하여 문제를 해결하고 성과를 달성한다. 이 다섯 단계 중에서 정의 단계는 프로젝트를 선정하고, 고객을 정의하고 프로젝트의 핵심 요인을 파악하며, 팀을 구성하고, 일정을 수립하는 일련의 과정으로서, 6시그마 활동전체의 방향을 제시하는 동시에, 이 활동이 그 조직에 얼마나 효과성이 결정되는 단계로서 6시그마 전 활동을 통하여 가장 중요한 단계라 할 수 있다. 6시그마 활동 중 정의 단계의 4 Step인 Project의 선정, Project의 정의, CTQ의 도출 및 선정, Project의 실행 계획은 프로젝트의 성공과 실패를 좌우하는 중요한 요인이다. 본 연구는 F사에서 수행했던 프로젝트를 대상으로 정의 단계의 각 Step마다 적정한 Activity에 따라 수행되었는가를 분석하여 F사의 6시그마 활동의 문제점을 조사하여 향후 6시그마 활동의 방향을 제시하려한다.

Since the beginning of a new century, many Korean construction and engineering companies are facing a very dynamic and fast changing business environment which includes severe competition, higher risk, economic depression, declining revenues and profits, etc. In order to cope with these challenges, they need to secure special capabilities to actively adapt to the paradigm changes. One of those capabilities could be project management capability which allows us to manage organizational resources dynamically and integratively based on project portfolio management concept. The objective of this study is to investigate how the dynamic capability of a project-based organization to control the resource affects the firm performance and the competitive advantages. Data was collected from the construction and engineering companies in South Korea by using survey questionnaire, and analyzed for empirical tests by using statistical methods such as structural equation modelling and path analysis. The results showed that the organizational resources, if they had the VRIN characteristics, would have positive impacts on creating the dynamic capabilities for project organization. In turn, the dynamic capabilities of a project organization would have impacts on improving business performance and creating competitive advantages. Also, it was found that the organizational resources may have direct impact on business performance and competitive advantages. The academic contribution of this study is that it attempts to integrate resource based view and the dynamic capability theory about creating competitive advantages for project based organization. This study also provided practical implications to the companies in construction industry by showing how to use organizational resources strategically to create competitive advantages.

본 연구는 국내 건설산업의 현장프로젝트조직 사업 참여자를 대상으로 프로젝트 참여자간 간 통제유형에 따라 유대 강도와 현장프로젝트 성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구에서는 통제를 산출통제(Output Control), 과정통제(Process Control), 사회통제(Social Control)로 구분하여 통제유형에 따라 현장프로젝트 참여자 간 유대 강도와 현장프로젝트성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치며 또한 한국 건설산업의 현장프로젝트조직만이 가지는 특징을 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 한다.

최근 지식경영(Knowledge Management)은 기업의 경쟁력 향상 및 성공적인 프로젝트 수행을 위한 중요한 전략적 요소로서 인식되고 있다. 건설업계 또한 점차적으로 지식경영을 효과적인 문제해결과 지속적인 경쟁우위 확보를 위한 핵심 시스템으로서 도입하고 있으며, 지식관리 전문가 및 건설 전문가들에 의한 지식기반의 프로젝트 관리는 더 이상 선택의 문제가 아닌 기업의 생존의 문제와도 직결되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2002년 지식경영이 도입된 이래로 현재 한미파슨스에서 추진하고 있는 <지식경영 고도화 사업>의 주요 이슈들에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
