A Study of Effect of the Radiative Heat Flux on the Evacuation of Agents (화재에 의해 발생하는 복사열이 재실자의 피난거동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the safety assessments with using the various evacuation programs are performed for improving the performance of fire and evacuation safety in the building. Generally, the evacuation programs can simulate the human behavior in fire situation by applying the variation of the movement speed and Fractional Effective Dose (FED) index in the smoke. However, if the simulation is performed without optional setting around the fire, the agents do not avoid the fire and they move through the fire. Therefore in this study, we define the radiative repulsion force which exists between the fire and the agents. Moreover, we modify the Helbing's movement model by adding the radiative repulsion force. As a result of the modified movement model, all agents move around the fire and they do not enter the upper bound area of radiative heat flux, $2.4kW/m^2$. From these results, we verified the reliability of the modified movement model.

  • This study is a basic study on COVID-19 and human quality of life. The purpose of the study is to reveal what changes are made in people's lives after a disaster and to provide basic data for crisis intervention research to effectively improve life satisfaction after a disaster to all subjects living in this era. As a result of the study, changes in life before and after COVID-19 differed depending on the subject. COVID-19 is certainly a major disaster for our society. In order to wisely cope with such a disaster situation, it can be said that a crisis intervention program is urgently needed. It can be said that a program is required to immediately focus on the crisis situation according to the target and evaluate the current difficulties to understand the client's response to the situation and relieve their feelings such as anger and anxiety.

Effect of Direct Breastfeeding Program for Premature Infants in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (신생아집중치료실 미숙아를 위한 직접모유수유 프로그램의 효과: 비동등성 대조군 전후 설계)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of a direct breastfeeding program for premature infants in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted during August 2016 to April 2017. Sixty mothers of premature infants were assigned to the experimental (n = 31) or control groups (n = 29). The program was comprised of breastfeeding education and direct breastfeeding support. The experimental and control groups were provided with education and counseling on breastfeeding at the time of admission and discharge. In the experimental group, the mothers initiated oral feeding with direct breastfeeding and engaged in breastfeeding at least seven times during the NICU stay. The collected data were analyzed by the χ2-test and repeated measures ANOVA using an SPSS program. Results: The experimental group showed a higher direct breastfeeding practice rate (χ2 = 19.29, p < .001), breastfeeding continuation rate (χ2 = 3.76, p < .001), and self-efficacy (F = 25.37, p < .001) than the control group except for maternal attachment. Conclusion: The direct breastfeeding program in the NICU has significant effects on the practice and continuation rate of breastfeeding and breastfeeding self-efficacy. Therefore, this program can be applied in the NICU settings where direct breastfeeding is limited.

  • Airlines tried to introduce training programs in connection with practical work in order to provide more effective education and training. To this end, airlines have been conducting evidence-based training(EBT) to strengthen the practical capabilities of aviation personnel and enhance safety culture. Airlines can systematically evaluate the capabilities and practical capabilities of aviation personnel by analyzing operational data and case studies for effective EBT model development. In addition, EBT models can be constructed by applying technical methods such as crew resource management (CRM) and a holistic approach that includes human factors. Due to the introduction of EBT, airlines will establish diagnostic and feedback systems for pilots' practical work, provide personalized education, and establish an education and training system that verifies the effectiveness of education through educational outcomes.

창의성 신장을 위한 영재 심화학습 프로그램의 효과에 대한 교사와 영재아의 평가 비교 연구

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the evaluation of students and teachers on the degree of students' improvement in terms of creativity after participating in enrichment programs for the gifted. Two topics in each of the Language Art and Mathematics were implemented to gifted students in grade 2 and 3 in one of the elementary schools in Kyung-Ki province and one private gifted education center for 12 times during the summer. The results showed that the young gifted students could monitor their performances very well and the evaluation of their creativity were consistently more positive than that of their teachers who taught them. They were significantly more positive regarding their creativity in mathematics than in Language Art. The results imply that young gifted children can evaluate their creativity reliably and consistently. Therefore, the teachers should try to understand and consider their own evaluation about their creativity in planning educational programs for the gifted. In the following studies, it is necessary to have pro- and post-test data on creativity collected by diverse methods and to include older students as subjects to see whether the results of this study are generalizable to older students.

  • 정보기술에 대한 투자규모는 날로 증가하고 있다. 국내 공공 부문의 경우에도 전자정부 구현 등을 위한 다양한 사업으로 인해 투자가 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이런 정보화 투자의 증대에도 불구하고 정보화의 효과에 대해서는 아직도 많은 의문이 제기되고 있다. 특히 S/W 취약성으로 인해 보안 침해사고가 발생하고, 정보화 관련 법제도 미흡으로 보안강화 노력이 강구되지 못하였으며 국가정보화의 새로운 틀이 마련되는 시점에서 법제도의 정비가 필요해졌다. 이러한 부분을 보완하고자 정보보호관리(Information Security Management : ISM)라는 제도를 분석한 프레임워크가 개발되었고, 본 논문은 이를 활용하여 국외 정보보호관리 제도 및 정책을 분석하고자 한다. ISM은 주체별로 역할과 책임을 명확하게 하고, 정보화의 목표를 조직목표에의 기여로 정하여 체계적으로 추진하되, 정보보호 보안 프로그램의 적합성과 구현 및 평가/개선을 하려는 핵심추진 노력이 필요하고, 아울러 이런 노력은 현재의 모습에 만족하지 말고 보다 나은 대안과 효과적 수단을 지속적으로 강구하려는 자세 등이 주요한 특징에 속한다. 본 논문을 통하여 분석된 국외 정보보호관리 제도 및 정책은 향후 우리나라의 정보보호관리 제도 및 정책에 상당한 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

  • OWASP에서 발표한 2007년 웹 애플리케이션 취약점 중 하나인 XSS 공격이 사용자 브라우저에서 스크립트를 실행하게 함으로써 사용자의 세션을 가로채거나 웜을 업로드하여 악성코드를 삽입하는 공격이다[2]. 하지만 많은 XSS 방어 기법에서는 단순 스크립트 우회기법과 강제적인 스크립트 차단 방법을 채택하고 있다. 또한 강제적인 XSS 필터 적용으로 과탐지로 인한 정상적인 웹 페이지가 출력 되지 않는 사례가 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 효율적인 정규식을 이용하여 XSS 공격 특징을 분석하여 특징점들을 추출하고 이 특징점들을 기반으로 특정한 규칙을 가진 문자열들을 모든 문자가 유효한지 확인할 수 있는 정규식 표현 방법을 이용하여 다양한 응용프로그램에 적용할 수 있는 기술을 연구하고자 한다. 또한 이를 기반으로 포털 사이트와 브라우저에서 제공하는 XSS 필터들과 비교하여 과탐지율 및 오탐지율 서로 비교하여 본 연구가 효율성 면에서 효과가 있는지 우위를 둘 것이며, 브라우저 벤더, 포털 사이트, 개인 PC 등 충분한 시험 평가와 수정을 통해서 응용할 수 있는 계기를 마련할 것이다

A Study on the Buckling Stability due to Lateral Impact of Gas Pipe Installed on the Sea-bed (해저면에 설치된 가스관의 외부충격에 의한 좌굴 안전성 검토)

  • Subsea oil and gas exploration is increasingly moving into deeper water depths, and typically, subsea pipelines operate under high pressure and temperature conditions. Owing to the difference in these components, the axial force in the pipe is accumulated. When a pipeline is operated at a high internal pressure and temperature, it will attempt to expand and contract for differential temperature changes. Typically, the line is not free to move because of the plane strain constraints in the longitudinal direction and soil friction effects. For a positive differential temperature, it will be subjected to an axial compressive load, and when this load reaches a certain critical value, the pipe may experience vertical (upheaval buckling) or lateral (snaking buckling) movements that can jeopardize the structural integrity of the pipeline. In these circumstances, the pipeline behavior should be evaluated to ensure the pipeline structural integrity during operation in those demanding loading conditions. Performing this analysis, the correct mitigation measures for thermal buckling can be considered either by accepting bar buckling but preventing the development of excessive bending moment or by preventing any occurrence of bending.

Mediating Effect of Opportunity Recognition Among Entrepreneurial Alertness, Mentoring, & Number of Mentoring on New Ventures' Performance (기업가적 기민성과 멘토링 및 멘토링 횟수와 기업성과 관계에서 기회인지의 매개효과 영향)

  • The Korean government is currently expanding the business startup incubator support program and funds for new ventures with innovative technology in order to spread the second venture boom. However, despite the fact that entrepreneurial education and mentoring that entrepreneurs should have are important parts for the sustainable growth of the startup, some companies selected for government support programs are reluctant to participate in programs such as entrepreneurship education and mentoring for the sole purpose of funding commercialization. This research addressed the effects of entrepreneurial alertness with opportunity awareness as its medium and the small business mentoring service along with the number of times the mentoring has taken place, on the corporate performances. The results of empirical research are as follow: the first one is that scanning-search and evaluation-judgment can influence a company's performance (financial, non-financial) through opportunity recognition, with the exception of association-connection, which is a sub-factor of entrepreneurial alertness. Secondly, it was found to affect a company's financial and non-financial performance through opportunity recognition for financing mentoring, technical support mentoring, and management support mentoring. Thirdly, it was found that the number of mentoring also affects the financial and non-financial performance of a company through opportunity recognition. The implications of this study are that it should be revisited that program managers consider rooms that do not violate the startup founder's strategic decision-making opportunities when designing and operating the program as entrepreneurial alertness sub-factor association-connection does not affect corporate performance through opportunity recognition. This study also emphasizes the need for customized mentoring to meet the outcome goals of each startup, as it has been empirically clarified that the mentoring provided to the startup by the government's support is important. The contribution of this research is that entrepreneurial alertness and opportunity recognition that are treated as important components in research for entrepreneurship, and the factors of mentoring and mentoring frequency that are recognized as important elements in the practical aspect of startup business are clarified theoretically and empirically as an influential factor in corporate performance. And this study also provide a rationale for the startup business support agency supplying mentoring.

Evaluation of Countermeasures Effectiveness in a Radioactively Contaminated Urban Area Using METRO-K : The Implementation of Scenarios Designed by the EMRAS II Urban Areas Working Group (METRO-K를 사용한 방사능으로 오염된 도시지역에서 대응행위효과 평가 : EMRAS II 도시오염평가분과 시나리오의 이행)

  • The Urban Areas Working Group within the EMRAS-2 ($\underline{E}$nvironmental $\underline{M}$odelling for $\underline{RA}$diation $\underline{S}$afety, Phase 2), which has been supported by the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), has designed some types of accidental scenarios to test and improve the capabilities of models used for evaluation of radioactive contamination in urban areas. For the comparison of the results predicted from the different models, the absorbed doses in air were analyzed as a function of time following the accident with consideration of countermeasures to be taken. Two kinds of considerations were performed to find the dependency of the predicted results. One is the 'accidental season', i.e. summer and winter, in which an event of radioactive contamination takes place in a specified urban area. Likewise, the 'rainfall intensity' on the day of an event was also considered with the option of 1) no rain, 2) light rain, and 3) heavy rain. The results predicted using a domestic model of METRO-K have been submitted to the Urban Areas Working Group for the intercomparison with those of other models. In this study, as a part of these results using METRO-K, the countermeasures effectiveness in terms of dose reduction was analyzed and presented for the ground floor of a 24-story business building in a specified urban area. As a result, it was found that the countermeasures effectiveness is distinctly dependent on the rainfall intensity on the day of an event, and season when an event takes place. It is related to the different deposition amount of the radionuclides to the surfaces and different behavior on the surfaces following a deposition, and different effectiveness from countermeasures. In conclusion, a selection of appropriate countermeasures with consideration of various environmental conditions may be important to minimize and optimize the socio-economic costs as well as radiation-induced health detriments.
