The Study on the Process of Juvenile Delinquency and It's Prevention Program (청소년 비행화 과정 개입 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구 -비행화 예방 집단활동 프로그램의 효과성 분석 -)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to design and perform juvenile group program and. to evaluate the effectiveness of that program The group was consisted of 10 fourth-grade elementary school boys who have had such factors that might force themselves to be delinquent, for example, broken family, having delinquent siblings or friends, family violence, and etc. The group had been held once a week and continued for 5 months. The effectiveness of that program is evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively through goal-attainment model. The ultimate goal of this program is reduction of delinquency stimulating factors which are operationalized with overall self-esteem - family related self-esteem, friend related self-esteem, and school related self-esteem. Quantitative evaluation is performed by pre- and post-test with Hare Self-Esteem Scale. Case records, family records, group activities records, and reports from schools are analyzed for the qualitative evaluation. According to paired samples t-test scores, average overall self-esteem scores of experimental group members were escalated from 67.57 to 74.86, and this difference between pre-test and post-test was statistically significant. Difference of experimental group was bigger and more striking than that of control group. These results suggest that designed and performed group program in this study would be effective in preventing juvenile from being delinquent.

  • The Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development discusses the reorganization of the five evaluation criteria of the Public Development Assistance Committee, which are used internationally, and the five evaluation criteria including adequacy, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability when assessing public development assistance in 1991. This study is to derive alternatives by applying the evaluation criteria of the Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in the evaluation of the inclusive business program being implemented in Nepal since 2019. As a result of the study, the adequacy of Nepal's inclusive business program was consistent with continuous employment and job creation for vulnerable groups such as disabled and orphan women. Efficiency can be said to be efficient in that processes such as work order and work confirmation are made with an electronic management tool, and delivery of the result is transmitted online, saving time and cost compared to other industries. The effectiveness of this project can be said to be an effective program in that it provides high-quality jobs such as providing specialized computer graphics education for the vulnerable, such as disabled and orphan women in Nepal, and hiring graduates as employees. Sustainability is the point that KOICA's inclusive business program has enabled vulnerable groups in the existing fields of agriculture and manufacturing to engage in the computer graphics industry, and the scalability of movies, characters, education businesses, and role models in other countries.However, considering that the scale of public development assistance will continue to increase in the future, it is necessary to establish a systematic monitoring system and a recirculation system so that the project between the donor and recipient countries can continue.

  • With a view to dealing with various problems in our times, it is necessary to reinterpret and reconstruct the educational tradition with the spirit of wen-gu-zhi-xin(溫故知新), and plan and apply the educational program according to the developmental level of students of school grade. The purpose of this study is to develop and review the effectiveness of the wen-gu-zhi-xin program for enhancing community capacity as a virtuous citizen and reinforcing resilience of students in middle school. The order of discussion runs as follows. First, we discussed resilience and mental health which is a meaningful topic of character education. And then, we proposed developmental approach of wen-gu-zhi-xin program and verified its effectiveness.

  • The purposes of this study were to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher training program for specialized school teacher in invention patent field and to explore the program improvement ideas. The study was carried out through on survey method and using program evaluating model developed for this study. The study subjects are 39 specialized high school teacher participated in training program about invention patent field at CNU-IECT(Invention education center for teacher). The data collection was done on August 2, 2014. The 37 questionnaies were analyzed. The educational needs of the training program were calculated by using the Borich(1980)'s needs assessment formula. The evaluating model was developed by the team. Major findings of this study were as follows; First, the training needs of specialized high-school teachers was high. Second, the satisfaction of the training program was high. Third, the overall effectiveness of training programs was high. Fourth, the improvement ideas were divided into four area - 1)The status quo area, 2) the alternatives exploration area, 3) the strategy modifications area, 4) the expected expansion area.

  • EERE(Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy)는 미국 DOE(Department of Energy)의 산하기관으로 에너지 효율화와 신재생에너지 정책 전반의 기획 및 프로그램 평가를 담당하고 있다. EERE에서 수행하는 평가 Tool중 가장 일반적으로 쓰이는 것은 General program evaluation(프로그램 일반 평가)인데 여기서는 크게 다섯 가지의 세부 평가 방법을 제시하고 있다. 이중 Impact evaluation은 기술 확산이론(diffusion of innovations)를 이론적 토대로 하고 있는 보급 및 R&D프로그램의 평가 방법론이다. 이는 프로그램 성과를 높은 수준으로 정량화 시킬 수 있으며 특히 외부효과들을 제외한 순수한 프로그램의 결과만을 도출하는 것을 평가의 목표로 하고 있어 실제 성과분석에서 매우 유용하게 사용된 다. Impact evaluation의 시행은 Impact evaluation framework라 불리는 일련의 과정을 거쳐 실시되는데 이것은 체계적인 평가를 돕고 평가 전반의 신뢰도를 높이는 역할을 한다. 본 연구는 Impact evaluation 방법론을 심도 있게 고찰하고 이를 통해 국내 신재생에너지 정책평가로의 적용가능성을 살펴보았다.

Effectiveness of Self-Empowerment Program for Social Workers : Focusing on the Mental Health Social Workers' Self Concept and Clients' Evaluation of Social Workers (사회복지사 셀프-임파워먼트 프로그램의 효과 : 정신보건사회복지사의 자아개념 및 클라이언트의 평가를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to introduce Self-Empowerment Program focusing on empowering social workers in individual level and to evaluate effectiveness of the program through practicing it. For the purpose, this study reviewed the concept of self-empowerment, theoretical background and content of the program. It examined effects of the program on mental health social workers' self concepts and clients' evaluation of the social workers, also. Through applying the program and analysing it, some significant differences were found in total positive self, self identity, self satisfaction, self behavior, moral ethical self, personal self, and family self score between intervention group and control group after the program. In evaluation of the social workers by the clients, the score of social workers in intervention group was increased after the program than control group's. These findings suggested that this program be helpful for social workers' self-empowerment and relationship with clients. It is meaningful to prove utility of the program in our social work situation with limited training or growing opportunities for social workers.

Effect of the Prevention Programs for Musculoskeletal Disorders in one Farming Village (일부 농업인에서의 근골격계 질환 관리 프로그램의 효과)

  • 일개 농촌 마을에서 농한기를 활용하여 시행된 근골격계 질환 예방사업을 소개하고 주요 사업결과를 분석하여 농업인의 건강증진을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 2006년 12월 5일부터 2007년 1월 26일까지 사곳리 마을회관을 12회 방문하여 4번의 기초교육과 5번의 심화교육 등 9번의 근력 및 유연성 강화교육을 실시하였다. 교육 전(사전평가), 기초교육과 심화교육 사이(중간평가), 교육 후(최종평가) 등 3회에 걸쳐 의사 2인에 의한 근골격계 질환 평가, 시각통증척도에 의한 근골격계 통증 평가, 생활체육 전문가 3인에 의한 좌우의 악력, 배근력, 하지근력, 몸통, 어깨, 하지, 무릎유연성 측정을 통한 근골격계 근력 및 유연성 평가, 설문지를 사용한 어깨, 허리, 무릎의 기능 평가를 실시하였다. 총 12회의 일정 중 1회 이상 참석한 농업인은 총 57명이었으며 남자가 20명(35.1%), 여자가 37명(64.9%)이었으며 평균 연령은 60.7(±8.1)세였다. 근골격계 질환 검진에서 한 번 이상의 검진을 받았던 43명중 32명(74%)이 한 가지 이상의 근골격계 질환을 가지고 있었으며, 퇴행성관절염이 26명(60.5%), 근막통 증후군이 19명(44.2%), 허리디스크가 10명(23.3%)이었다.목어깨, 허리, 무릎다리의 통증정도는 1차, 2차 평가 간, 2차, 3차 평가 간, 1차, 3차 평가 간의 비교에서 모두 감소하는 경향을 보였으며 3차 평가에서 1차 평가에 비해 목어깨, 허리, 무릎다리 모두 유의한 통증의 감소를 보였다(p<0.05). 근골격계의 기능을 1차, 2차 평가 간, 2차, 3차 평가 간, 1차, 3차 평가 간 비교한 결과 모두 기능점수가 우수하게 변화했으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 근력 및 유연성 정도는 좌우의 악력, 배근력, 하지근력, 몸통, 어깨, 하지, 무릎유연성을 측정하였으며 1차 평가에 비해 3차 평가에서 모든 항목에서 근력 및 유연성 정도가 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05).연구대상자의 수가 적었고, 농한기에 의한 근골격계 질환의 개선 효과를 배제할 수는 없었지만 이번연구를 통하여 일부 농업인에서 근골격계 질환 관리 프로그램 실시 후 근골격계 질환의 단기적인 개선효과를 볼 수 있었다. 근골격계 질환의 중장기적인 개선효과를 기대할 수 있는 추가적인 연구와 농번기를 통한 관리 프로그램에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Formative Assessment Program in CRESST Focused on the Algebra Domain in the 7th Grade (CRESST 형성평가 프로그램(PowerSource(c))의 효과성 - 중학교 1학년 대수 관련 내용을 중심으로 -)

  • CRESST(the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing at UCLA) is now carrying out the research, which was scheduled for a five year period from 2007 to 2011. This research aimed at testing the effectiveness of the formative assessment program by continuously conducting the program on the target group and steadily applying the recurring feedback, in order to reform the teachers' teaching and to facilitate students' learning. To do this, CRESST has set out to develop the material for 7th graders since January 2007, and KICE(Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation) have been running a collaborated research since July 2007, while sharing the instructional materials developed by CRESST. In 2008, the pre-test was conducted prior to this study in 2009. Especially, this paper deals with the Korean 7th graders' scholastic achievements in algebra domain measured by PowerSource(c). In addition, this study would examine the responses of teachers and students on its application.

Development and Effectiveness of the Creative Drama Group Program for the Children with Mental Retardation (지적장애아동의 사회적 능력의 발달을 위한 연극놀이 집단프로그램의 개발 및 효과성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop creative drama group program for children with mental retardation. To develop this program, the study begins with and in depth examination of the prior creative drama models, techniques and constructivism theory. The style of this creative drama program for children with mental retardation is a 24 session structured program, a small group program. The techniques of this creative drama program are a orientation, warming-up, main performance, feedback and sharing. Major findings were as follows. 4 mentally with mental retardation in creative drama group program showed a significant increased social competence. Also, children with mental retardation children showed the positive social skill change through the creative drama group program. Based on these findings, implications for creative drama group program for children with mental retardation were suggested.

The Implementation and Evaluation of Learning Experience-Based Professionalism Program in Medical School (의과대학의 학습경험 중심 전문직업성 프로그램 운영 및 평가)

  • This study explores how to implement a learning experience-based professionalism program for a medical students and evaluates its program through effectiveness and usability test. This study aims to provide practical implications for experience-based learning in an undergraduate level. Seventy four first-year medical students enrolled in PDS1(Patient-Doctor-Society 1): professionalism, one-week block (30 hours), one-credit program based on a experience-based learning model. All of the students were given six learning themes and learning resources and supporting tools, and conducted stepwise learning activities; preparation, organization, sharing, reflection and evaluation of experiences. The effectiveness of learning was evaluated by comparing the pre and post results of student's self-assessment on 24 questionnaire items about professionalism. After the course, the students and instructors conducted a usability evaluation of the program through questionnaires or group interviews. Learners' self-assessment results of professionalism such as leadership, self-directed learning, professional attitude, and social accountability all showed significant differences between the pre- and post-test. Satisfaction of the program was distributed to 3.58~3.78 according to items. Instructors and learner interviews confirmed practical usability throughout the course design, implementation and students evaluation. The results of the study showed the feasibility of implementing learning experience-based professionalism program in medical school. This study provides practical implications to develope and evaluate the learning experience-based professionalism program in medical education.
