A Study on Viewers' Subjective Perception of Food TV Program -Focus on Program Planning Intentions- (음식 TV 프로그램에 대한 시청자들의 주관성 연구 -프로그램 기획의도를 중심으로-)

  • With the rising popularity of food shows driven by the development of information and communication technologies, food-incorporated broadcasting programs based on various materials are produced in large numbers. This situation has raised a need for each program to examine viewers' preference factors for planning intentions in order to produce competitive programs. This study thus examined viewers' preference factors for food programs and planning intentions and discovered total three factors. The first factor places importance on practicality and entertainment and enjoys food and food programs as a means of resting. The second factor searches for specialized information and focuses on the essential meanings of food and the delivery of the right information. Finally, The third factor gets satisfaction from interactions with food programs and finds joy in storytelling and communication provided by broadcasting programs. These factors have different tendencies from one another, and the present study proposed a concept design for food broadcasting programs based on them.

Classification of Character Types in Korean Entertainment Program (한국 방송 프로그램의 예능 캐릭터 유형 분류 연구)

  • Korean entertainment programs have attempted to change formats to reflect the viewers' preference for the unexpected progress of narrative. Casts have used their public identity and it contributes to strengthen the realism by providing their realistic reactions. This study is to advance understanding of entertainment characters' characteristic by classifying character types and analyzing main types that have been appeared repeatedly. This study suggests securing diversity of entertainment characters by noticing character types appearing at low frequency in classification.

Influence of Personality Types on Ttelevision Contents Preference (개인성향과 텔레비전 프로그램 유형 선호도의 관계 연구)

  • The personality types has been emphasized as one of the influential factors for the program selection by viewers in the multi-channel and multimedia era. However, there have been few empirical studies on this issue. The current study investigated how the audience personality influence the program preference. Specifically, this study focused on both need for cognition and sensation seeking which are related to the television viewing motivation. To examine the influence of personality on program preference, four types of drama and five types of entertainment programs were used. The results of the web survey showed that viewers personality type seem to have effect on their program preference. Indeed, it appeared that there was positive relationship between need for cognition and sensation seeking. The implications of this study's findings were discussed.

  • Earlier program plagiarism check systems are performed by using simple text, attribute or token string base on match techniques. They have difficulties in checking program styles which have nothing to do with program syntax such as indentation, spacing and comments. This paper introduces a plagiarism check model which compares syntax-trees for the given programs. By using syntax-trees, this system can overcome the weekness of filtering program styles and have advantage of comparing the structure of programs by syntax and semantic analysis. Our study introduces syntactic tree creation, unparsing and similarity check algorithms about C/C++ program plagiarism checking for internet cyber education and estimate plagiarism pattern.

  • The objectives of this study are to examine the impact of display type and program condition on advertising attitude, and also to analyze the moderating effect of previous intrusiveness perception in such process. The results of empirical analysis are as follows. First, display type had no significant influence on advertising attitude. Second, the interaction effect of display type and program situation on advertising attitude was significant. Third, the interaction effect of display type and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was not significant. Fourth, the interaction effect of program situation and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was significant. Fifth, the interaction effect of display type, program situation, and previous intrusiveness perception on advertising attitude was not significant.

  • The success of the journey to the west of tvN's shows the positive prospect of web entertainment. This study highlights how viewers actively select web progrmas and how they diffuse the infomrmation of web programs to explore the possibility of success of web program and the change of viewing environment. This study revealed the attention of viewers affected the diffusion of programs via social media. The highness of the viewer's attention cause the highness of active interaction between users. The production company of web entertaninment has to focus on the high hits strategy. In the view of journalists, they covered on the appearance of the heroin rather than the content of the program. The relationship of viewing type and viral type via SNS is related with the activity of viewers. If viewers participate in viewing they express their opinion on the web entertainment actively.

  • This study examines the actual operation status of the Korean children's library cultural program and analyzes the service type and operation status. Through this, it seeks the direction of cultural programs that can accommodate the needs of the users and establish the identity of the library. This study analyzes 856 kinds of cultural programs found on the homepage of 48 children's libraries in Korea. It was found that the lecture type programs for elementary school students were operated the most. In addition, most of the students participated one to three times during the lower grades of elementary school by their parents' recommendation. The satisfaction level of experiential cultural programs was the highest.

The Development of a Learning Program for Enhancing the Skills of Control Variables and the Effects of Its Applications (변인 통제 능력을 강화하기 위한 수업 프로그램의 개발 및 적용 효과 분석)

  • The main purpose of this study was to develop a teaching program, especially designed to improve the skills of control variables. The secondary purpose was to investigate the effect of the program on enhancing students' scientific reasoning and understanding. The program was designed based on the 3-step learning model: i.e. students recognize the necessity of controlling the variables (step 1), perform their own experiments (step 2), and reflect on their variables control process (step 3). The program included 9 topics of increasing difficulty. In results, Lawson's SRT scores increased in both experimental and control groups after application of the program, but the difference was not statistically significant. After the application, there was an increase in type A and type B which implied that students' skills of control variables was improved. In addition, responses of students in the experimental group to the open-ended items showed that it was challenging for them to think scientifically and critically when controling variables, but they ended up feeling proud of their achievement after the program.

Research for Vitalizing the Exportation of Korean Entertainment Program Format (한국 예능 프로그램 포맷 수출 활성화 방안 연구: 글로벌 예능 프로그램 포맷 특성과의 비교분석을 중심으로)

  • This paper analyzed features of Korean entertainment program formats exported to Asia mostly with that of top 100 Global entertainment program formats exported globally in order to explore Korean entertainment program formats to export globally. Two groups of entertainment program were analyzed in three ways, program category, cast, and material. Regarding program category, quiz game programs showed highest exportation in Global top 100 formats while only 14.3% of Korean entertainment formats exported. As for the cast members, Korean formats prefer well-known celebrities. On the other hand, Global formats produce programs featuring non-famous, ordinary people. Moving on to material of each formats, Global formats focus on puzzle/riddle whereas, Korean formats mainly focus on music/dance and family/parenting. These results indicate that Korean entertainment programs contain strong cultural aspects which generate disadvantages on exportation of these programs, compared to Global entertainment programs. In conclusion, to export Korean entertainment program formats globally, quiz game format with ordinary people and using materials that delivers less cultural aspects are need to be developed.

심화학습 프로그램에 기초한 속진학습 프로그램 개발 방안

  • 교육과정과의 관련성에 따른 수학 영재학습 프로그램의 유형은 속진학습형과 심화학습형으로 나눌 때, 속진학습과 심화학습이 조화를 이루는 것이 바람직하다고 보겠다. 특히 초등학생을 대상으로 개발할 프로그램은 속진학습을 바탕으로 한 심화학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 구성하는 것이 위험성이 낮을 것이다. 본고에서는 두 유형의 특성을 살펴보고, 수학영재 프로그램 구성에서 고려할 사항과 심화와 속진학습을 연결시킬 수 있는 방안을 구체적 프로그램 사례를 통해 살펴보고자 한다.
