A Data Taxonomy Methodology based on Their Origin (데이터 본질 기반의 데이터 분류 방법론)

  • The representative method to efficiently manage the organization's data is to avoid data duplication through the promotion of sharing and reusing existing data. The systematic structuring of existing data and efficient searching should be supported in order to promote the sharing and reusing of data. Without regard for these points, the data for the system development would be duplicated, which would deteriorate the quality of the data. Data taxonomy provides some methods that can enable the needed data elements to be searched quickly with a systematic order of managing data. This paper proposes that the Origin data taxonomy method can best maximize data sharing, reusing, and consolidation, and it can be used for Meta Data Registry (MDR) and Semantic Web efficiently. The Origin data taxonomy method constructs the data taxonomy structure built upon the intrinsic nature of data, so it can classify the data with independence from business classification. Also, it shows a deployment method for data elements used in various areas according to the Origin data taxonomy structure with a data taxonomic procedure that supports the proposed taxonomy. Based on this case study, the proposed data taxonomy and taxonomic procedure can be applied to real world data efficiently.

Study on the Service Quality of Small Arms using Kano-SERVQUAL Integrated Approach (Kano-SERVQUAL 통합접근법을 이용한 소구경화기의 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • Service quality research is being conducted actively to improve customer satisfaction in various fields, but no research has been done on the service quality of small arms in the national defense. To enhance the user satisfaction and quality of small arms, this study aimed to derive the main quality attributes, measure the current level of satisfaction, and explore the elements requiring improvement. For this, a questionnaire survey based on the Kano model and SERVQUAL model was conducted on the identified service quality factors through discussions of experts involved in the production, quality assurance, and operation. All service quality factors were classified as one-dimensional elements, and an analysis of the Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach showed that the user's expectation and dissatisfaction coefficient had a strong positive correlation with a 1% significance level, and user's perception value and satisfaction coefficient had a negative correlation with the 1% significance level. Using the Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach, the priority service quality attributes for small arms requiring improvement among the many areas of service quality could be identified. Overall, it is expected that service-quality-level measurements can be used to improve the quality level of munitions as well as user satisfaction.

A Study on the Quality Model and Metrics for Evaluating the Quality of Information Security Products (정보보호제품 품질평가를 위한 품질 모델 및 메트릭에 관한 연구)

  • While users of information security products require high-quality products that are secure and have high performance, there are neither examples for evaluating the quality of information security products nor studies on the quality model and metrics for the quality evaluation. In this paper, information security products are categorized into three different types and the security and performance of various information security products are analyzed. Through this process and after consideration of information security products' security and performance, a new quality model that possesses 7 characteristics and 24 sub-characteristics has been defined. In addition, metrics consisting of 62 common and 45 extended metrics that can be used to evaluate the quality of information security products are introduced, and a proposition for a method of generating the quality evaluation metrics for specific information security products is included. The method of generating metrics proposed in this paper can be extended in order to be applied to a variety of information security products, and by generating and verifying the quality evaluation metrics for firewall, intrusion detection systems and fingerprint systems it is shown that it applicable on a variety of information security products.

물리.화학적 및 효소적 방법에 의한 참돔(Pagrus major)의 품질판정 지표 설정

  • 물리ㆍ화학적 및 효소적 방법을 이용한 근육의 품질판정 지표로써 수분함량, 지질함량 그리고 콜라겐 함량등을 살펴보았으며, AEC 수치로써 건강도를 측정하고자 하였다. 즉, 이런 지표들을 이용하여 양식산 활어의 품질에 가장 큰 요인으로 작용하는 파괴강도와의 상관관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 지금까지 조사된 양식산 활어성분 중 파괴강도가 어떠한 독립변수들에 의하여 크게 영향을 받으며, 파괴강도와 독립변수와의 관계식은 무엇인가를 규명하기 위하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다 여기서 독립변수로 사용된 것은 아래와 같다. X$_1$ : 수분함량(moisture content) X$_2$ : 지질함량(lipid content) X$_3$ : 콜라겐 함량(collagen content) 각 성분간의 상관관계를 피어슨 상관계수로 나타낸 것으로, 파괴강도와 수분 함량, 지질함량사이에는 상관성이 있으나(r=0.66, r=-0.69: p<0.05), 콜라겐의 함량과는 상관성을 가지지 못하였다. 또한, 콜라겐과 수분함량(r=0.19), 콜라겐과 지질함량(r=-0.29)로 각 성분간의 상관성이 존재하지 않았다. 그러므로, 파괴 강도값은 지질과 수분함량간의 상관관계가 형성된다. 즉, 수분함량이 크고 지질함량이 작아지면 파괴강도간은 커진다는 결론이다. 이 결과를 이용하여 파괴감도, 수분함량 그리고 지질함량간의 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같다. Y = 0.74481 + 0.01323 X$_1$- 0.05821 X$_2$ 이 회귀식을 이용하여, 참돔의 수분함량과 지질함량을 측정함으로써 참돔의 품질을 결정할수 있는 파괴강도값이 계산으로 얻어진다. 또한 효소적방법으로써 품질지표인 AEC수치를 측정함으로써 건강도를 판정할 수 있다. 그러므로, 파괴강도값을 이용하여 품질의 등급을 선정하며, AEC수치를 건강도의 등급을 선정하여야 된다. 파괴강도값에 의한 등급은 1.4kg이상은 상급, 1.2~l.4kg은 중급, 1.2kg이하를 하급으로 선정하며, AEC수치는 1.0~0.9는 상급, 0.9~0.8는 중급, 0.8이하를 하급으로 선정하여 등급화를 분류할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

An Empirical Study on Quality Improvement by Data Standardization for Distributed Goods (유통 상품의 데이터 품질 관리를 위한 데이터 표준화에 대한 연구)

  • Data quality management is extremely important. In this study, we proposed data standardization for effective quality management of enterprise-owned data about distributed goods and validated its effectiveness by case study. For the standardization of data, we designed data category and data dictionary. Additionally, we categorized data and identified its attributes for data category design, and we developed design process for data dictionary and built the dictionary of word, term, domain and code for data dictionary design. And then we proposed output documents which have to be written for data standardization. Proposed data standardization approach is validated its efficiency by quantitative and qualitative measurement. and as a result the data quality of the data standardization improved 24% and the data quality of the consistency of the data dictionary improved 7%.

Marketing Mix Factors affecting on Purchasing Intention of Cosmetics Users by Using Kano Model (Kano 모델을 이용한 화장품 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 마케팅 믹스요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to contribute to the policy decision of cosmetic industry through analyzing marketing mix factors which affects customers' buying intention. For this study, marketing mix factors that impact on cosmetic customers purchasing intention were collected and chi-square independence analysis of SPSS and qualitative analysis technology of Kano & Timko were used. Analysis reached one conclusion, which factors were maximizing customers satisfaction, shows the price discount policy and recommendation from family and colleague. Product's effectiveness, usefulness and skin compatibility were rated as an one-dimensional quality as those factors were linearly affected when customers needs were satisfied. However product's containers, package design, colors, brand reputation, low and middle price, distribution channel and advertising medias were investigated as an indifferent quality and they were rated as low satisfaction/dissatisfaction coefficient of Timko. Therefore they do not need to invest to those factors too much budget for attaining customers' buying intention.

  • In order to improve software quality, it is necessary to efficiently and effectively remove software defects in source codes. In the development field, defects are removed according to removal ratio or severity of defects. There are several studies on the removal of defects based on software quality attributes, and several other studies have been done to improve the software quality using classification of the severity of defects, when working on projects. These studies have thus far been insufficient in terms of identifying if there exists relationships between defects or whether any type of defect is more important than others. Therefore, in this study, we collected various types of software defects, standards organization, companies, and researchers. We modeled the defects types using an ANP model, and developed the weighted severities of the defects types, with respect to the general application software, using the ANP model. When general application software is developed, we will be able to use the weight for each severity of defect type, and we expect to be able to remove defects efficiently and effectively.

Color Appearances and Morphological Characteristics of Rice According to the Visual Acceptance (외관 기호도에 의한 쌀의 색택 및 형태관련 특성)

  • This study was carried out to select the acceptance test influenced by some quality characteristics of rice, and may provide the basic information on rice grade of appearance quality as distinguished the numerical values. Forty-four Japonica rice varieties mainly cultivated in Korea were evaluated for a consumer acceptance test. Color preferences of rice were highly correlated with appearance quality (r=-0.897**) and redness (r=-0.893**). Especially, appearance quality value resulted from interaction of $redness{\times}yellowness$ values was expected as a specific character used for grade of rice appearance. Shape preferences of rice showed the positive correlation with grain width (r=0.527**) and grain size (r=0.454**). Result of the consumer acceptance test of rice appearance conducted through a cluster analysis revealed five groups. Our study suggests that it may be feasible to be graded by average of quality character among groups, grain width, and grain size in Duncan's multiple range test.

The Effect of Characteristics and Service Quality of Internet Banking on Customer Satisfaction (인터넷뱅킹의 속성과 서비스품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향)

  • For continuous growth and diffusion of internet banking, it is important to investigate the factors that affect customer satisfaction. This study empirically examined the structural relationships among characteristics of internet banking, service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Characteristics of internet banking include relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, and perceived risk which are user-dependent in nature. Service quality was classified as 5 dimensions of SERVQUAL. Using a sample of 162 internet banking users, we empirically examined the study model. The results of this study showed that characteristics of internet banking and service quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction and satisfaction in turn, had a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. We also found that characteristics of internet banking and service quality had a significant effect on customer loyalty.

Phylogenetic Characteristics of Yellow Head Virus (YHV) Genotype 8 Isolated from Fenneropenaeus chinensis in Korea (자연산 대하(Fenneropenaeus chinensis)에서 검출된 노랑머리 바이러스 Genotype 8의 계통분류학적 특성)

  • Yellow head virus (YHV) is a rod-shaped positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus, classified into the genus Okavirus, family Roniviridae, and order Nidovirales. In this study, 200 fleshy prawns (Fenneropenaeus chinensis) collected from the vicinity of Narodo in Goheung-gun, Korea, were screened for the presence of yellow head complex viruses and related genotype such as YHV genotype 8. The detection rate of YHV genotype 8 among the 200 fleshy prawns, determined using nested RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reation), was 39.0%. Phylogenetic analysis of the ORF1b gene of YHV showed that eight distinct genetic lineages were detected. The four strains of YHV genotype 8 obtained in this study formed a robust clade with the YHV genotype 8 group that was first isolated from fleshy prawns in China suspected to have acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND).
