Quality Improvement Priorities for Cosmetic Store Service Using Kano Model and Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement Index (Kano 모델 및 잠재적 고객만족 개선 지수를 이용한 화장품 매장 서비스 품질 개선 우선순위)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify priority factors for improving service quality of cosmetic stores in drug stores(DRS) and department stores(DES) and to provide basic data for improving service quality of cosmetic stores by analyzing the service quality based on the Kano model and the Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement (PCSI) Index. As a result, most items of quality factors of cosmetic stores in both stores were evaluated as attractive quality factors. As a result of PCSI Index comparison, the quality factors of 'Reliability', 'Responsiveness', and 'Empathy' items for DRS and 'Empathy' and 'Reliability' items for DES had higher priority for improvement. That is, if these factors are improved, there is a high potential to improve customer satisfaction. Through this study, practical implications were provided by identifying service quality factor classification and priorities for customer satisfaction improvement of DRS and DES. This is expected to contribute to the guidelines for improving customer satisfaction in the future.

Development of Quality Competitiveness Assessment Model for RFID Tags in Apparel Retail (의류품 유통관리용 RFID 태그 품질경쟁력 평가모델 개발)

  • The 'Quality Competitiveness Index' (QCI) is defined as an quantitative and disinterested indicator that measures and compares the quality of products across the world. The purpose of this study is to suggest the 'Quality Competitiveness Assessment Model' (QCAM) and calculate QCI of a popular UHF RFID Label tag (Global ISO 18000-3C supported) available these days in a global apparel market. The model was based on KS-QEI(Korean Standard-Quality Excellence Index), and was composed with the following 4 evaluation categories, a process capability test, an environmental reliability test, a durability test and a design margin test. The QCI score can be calculated with the following formula, using the weighted arithmetic mean between a score of each evaluation category ($X_1$, $X_2$, $X_3$, $X_4$) and each weight($w_1$, $w_2$, $w_3$, $w_4$). The actual weights was determined by an result of AHP survey to which was conducted for the related Industry-University-Institute experts. The proposed index shows the results of comparisons with global competitor's products as well as the high-quality domestic RFID label tags. In addition, it will play an important role for manufacturers when developing their future products.

Feasibility Study the Assessment Factor of Quality Performance Index in Expressway Concrete Pavement (고속도로 콘크리트 포장에 대한 품질평가지수 평가인자의 적정성 검토)

  • Traffic volume increases according to highway expansion and industrial development which causes repetitive defect and durability degradation on pavement. The research of quality assurance system used abroad has introduced Korea. Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) has developed a Quality Performance Index (QPI) that quantitatively assesses the level of quality of the final product, and practical applications. Assessment factor on concrete pavement consisted of pavement thickness, compressive strength, IRI and spacing factor. Assessment factor on concrete pavement is determined by empirical evaluation factor from abroad. In this study, analysis of evaluation factors of concrete pavement by using pavement life prediction simulation and measured data were evaluated with consideration of feasibility of the assessment factor. Pavement life, performance and durability are affected by pavement thickness, compressive strength, IRI and spacing factor in assessment factor on concrete pavement, QPI.

A Study on the classification of quality attributes in culinary education based on the Kano model (Kano 모델을 기반으로 한 조리교육 품질속성 분류에 관한 연구 - 전문대학, 전문학교를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the attributes of culinary educational quality by using the Kano model. This study carried out literary research and empirical analysis. Data were collected among 486 students whose major is culinary arts and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 and EXCEL 2007. It classified culinary educational quality by employing the Kano model and modified the Better and Worse quotients suggested by Timko. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that total 25 attributes could be classified into 17 Attractive quality attributes, 2 Must-be quality attributes and 6 Indifferent quality attributes, while One-dimensional quality, Reverse quality and Questionable quality attributes were not found. Second, according to the Better and Worse quotient by Timko, "Objective instructor's evaluation" item was the highest score in the Better quotient. On the other hand, the "Having foreign professors" item is the lowest in the Worse quotient. Third, marketing implications and limitations were discussed.

  • 본 논문은 배전시스템 내의 공통 접속점에 연결된 부하를 2단계로 분석하여 추정된 부하의 구성비를 왜곡전력 품질지수에 적용하는 방안에 관한 연구이다. 제안된 2단계 분석법은 기존의 배전시스템 내 전기부하의 구성비를 한꺼번에 추정하는 방법과 달리, 부하의 전류 파형을 고려해 전기부하를 분류하여 각 단계별로 부하구성비를 칼만 필터를 이용하여 추정한다. 제안된 부하구성비 추정법의 유효성은 분산전원이 포함된 모의배전시스템을 구성하여 검증한다. 또한, 모의 배전시스템 내에서 추정된 부하구성비를 왜곡전력 품질지수에 적용하여 부하들의 전력품질을 진단한다.

Coffee Shops' Quality Classification and Customer Satisfaction Improvement Index by KANO Model (KANO모델을 활용한 커피전문점의 품질분류와 고객만족개선지수)

  • This study classified the various quality features of coffee shop by Kano model with customers' perspective. Also both satisfaction coefficient and dissatisfaction coefficient are calculated to analyse the relative influence of quality features on customer satisfaction. This study also dragged the potential customer satisfaction improvement index to scrutinize the quality improvement possibility for coffee shops. The analysis results showed that low price, luxurious interior, restfulness of table and chair, usability of wireless internet are belonged to the Attractive quality. On the other hand, cleanliness and hygiene, quality to price are identified as the One-dimensional quality. The current satisfaction level for both 'Caffe Bene' and 'Starbucks' are measured to draw the potential customer satisfaction improvement index. The result showed that low price and quality to price appeared to be the highest in its quality improvement possibility. The findings of this study help understanding the quality features to focus on and strengthening the competitiveness for coffee shops.

Prediction of Track Quality Index (TQI) Using Vehicle Acceleration Data based on Machine Learning (차량가속도데이터를 이용한 머신러닝 기반의 궤도품질지수(TQI) 예측)

  • There is an increasing tendency to try to make predictive analysis using measurement data based on machine learning techniques in the railway industries. In this paper, it was predicted that Track quality index (TQI) using vehicle acceleration data based on the machine learning method. The XGB (XGBoost) was the most accurate with 85% in the all data sets. Unlike the SVM model with a single algorithm, the RF and XGB model with a ensemble system were considered to be good at the prediction performance. In the case of the Surface TQI, it is shown that the acceleration of the z axis is highly related to the vertical direction and is in good agreement with the previous studies. Therefore, it is appropriate to apply the model with the ensemble algorithm to predict the track quality index using the vehicle vibration acceleration data because the accuracy may vary depending on the applied model in the machine learning methods.

  • 네트워크 서비스에 있어서 품질을 정확히 측정하고 품질지수를 도출하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 종래의 네트워크 서비스에 대한 품질지수는 QoS(Quality of Service)로서 많은 연구가 있어왔다. 하지만 QosS를 통한 사용자 품질지수는 실제 사용자의 서비스 만족도를 효과적으로 표현해 주지 못하였다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 QoE(Quality of Experience)라는 개념을 도입하여, 사용자가 실제로 느낀 서비스의 만족도를 도출하고자 하였다. 사용자의 서비스 만족도를 잘 표현해주는 QoE를 도출하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 QoE Framework를 제안한다. QoE Framework는 framework를 위해 동작하는 agent들로 구성된다. QoE Framework의 agent는 크게 서비스 제공자측과 서비스 사용자 측으로 나눌 수 있는데, 서비스 사용자 측의 agent는 서비스를 이용하다가 사용자가 서비스 불만족을 감지하였을 때, 서비스 제공자측 agent는 사용자측 agent로부터 받은 서비스 불만족에 대한 feedback으로부터 QoE도출 알고리즘을 사용하여 최적의 QoE를 도출하는 기능을 한다. 서비스 제공자측 agent의 QoE도출 알고리즘으로 GA(Genetic Algorithm)을 사용하여 최적의 값을 구하게 된다. QoE framework의 알고리즘에서는 불만족 feedbaek을 이루는 QoS 파라미터들간의 중요도와 관계를 도출하여, 주어진 서비스 개선 비용으로 최적의 QoE를 도출함으로써, 네트워크 서비스에 대한 사용자의 만족도를 최대로 높이는 결과를 도출하게 된다.

  • 본 연구는 말콤볼드리지 의료서비스 분야 평가기준을 기반으로한 한국형 의료서비스 분야 국가품질상 평가도구의 타당성을 검증 하고자 한다. 이를 위해 미국의 말콤볼드리지 국가품질상(The Malcolm Bladrige National Quality Award)의 평가기준인 리더십, 전략계획, 환자 ${\cdot}$ 고객 ${\cdot}$ 시장 중시, 측정 ${\cdot}$ 분석 ${\cdot}$ 지식관리, 인적자원 중시, 프로세스 관리, 사업성과의 7 개 항목과 21 개의 세부항목을 토대로 국내 산업에 맞는 측정항목을 개발하였고, 이러한 평가항목들을 이용해 한국 의료서비스 기업들이 국가품질상에 대한 자체평가를 위해 활용할 수 있는 한국형 경영품질지수를 개발하고, 실제로 한국의 병원들의 사례를 통해 한국 의료서비스 산업 품질경영상태를 파악하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력의 품질요소 중 배전시스템의 운용에 많은 영향을 미치는 신뢰도, 전압Sag/Swell, 전압변동, 고조파를 하나의 종합화된 지수로 표시할 수 있도록 하여, 배전시스템의 품질을 정량적으로 표시할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 시스템의 전력품질을 하나의 지수로 표현하기 위하여, 각 항목의 중요도를 도출하고, AHP에 의한 통할전력품질지수를 개발하였다.
