To evaluate the total quality activities is the most fundamental and critical process as one of the PDCA cycle. The quality award criteria such as Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and Deming Award can be a, pp.ied to the guideline for evaluating quality activities. We can identify several important factors for TQM by referring quality award criteria, but they don't suggest how efficiently implement TQM. In this paper, two methodologies are a, pp.ied to evaluate the TQM activities comparatively. One of them is the traditional scoring system (TSS) by analytic hierarchy process (AHP). TSS is the system which evaluates the performance of TQM by the weighted sum of critical success factors. Several quality award system are typical examples of TSS. The other is the efficiency measuring system (EMS) by data envelop analysis (DEA). DEA outperformed other alternative methods to measure the efficiency and it can be a, pp.ied to evaluate the TQM activities. The evaluation system by DEA can be named as EMS. The objective of this paper is to suggest a model called TAE (Total quality management Activities Evaluation), for evaluating TQM activities. In this model TQM organizations are classified into four types by considering TSS and EMS. Those types are high weighted sum and high efficiency type, high weighted sum and low efficiency type, low weighted sum and high efficiency type, and low weighted sum and low efficiency type. Therefore TQM organizations must not only make efforts to get the higher scores in terms of TSS, but also take necessary steps to enhance their efficiencies.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to show whether there is a relationship between companies that promote CSR and hire indirectly as opposed to companies that only hire directly. Research results show that it is actually beneficial for the economy when companies implement the CSR, especially during times of economic recession. Methods: We have used data by collecting from the top 100 companies in Korea, which are the number of permanent employees, stock market registrations, companies that implemented the CSR, hiring directly and indirectly, etc., and analyzed them to carry out the regression analysis. Results: Research has shown that when companies implement the CSR and has many permanent employees, they also tend to hire employees indirectly. Conclusion: In the views of the whole economy, utilizing indirect hiring of employees can be a useful alternative, which can be accomplished by implementing CSR, and it must be recognized as the reason for producing more job opportunities within economies.

This study is to devide seven subject organs in the metropolitan area by the Malcolm Baldrige's basis which is global standard of management quality to grip the each activities of management quality, to conduct a survey of the management quality of each organ or persons in charge of similar works. Generally, those surveyed show to recognize on the management quality and to apply to real work. Those surveyed show to be able to improve positively quality and service level in case of appling to work of management quality, and to be positive reaction on the contribution about management performance. This study indicates the predominant view which the researcher have to establish the its vision clearly and to promote in a lump success factors of management quality, and the chief executive have to take a firm faith for it. This study also suggest that recognizing positively about its vision and strategy about present condition of management quality activities is one of the implements which not only judge but also establish a good system of an organization. And there has a significant difference between Public and Private Organizations that those evaluate management quality conducts better management performance. However management quality activities shows to mostly agree to be influencing positively to management performance.

Purpose: This study suggests a SCQM model for the national Defense field based on earlier studies on the Quality Management of supply chain and to identify critical activities factors of supply chain that makes effect on the business results. Also, this study analyzed moderating effects of performance sharing between businesses which is becoming the big issues with regard to the supply chain cooperation. Methods: A causality of qm activities factor of SCQM model affecting benefit sharing and business performance was analyzed by using structural equation model. A company used in analysis performed a survey by targeting 297 Defense SMEs(weapon-system/non-weapon system). Results: As a result of analyzing the influence relationship between key activity of SCQM on finance performance, it was identified that Management Infra(MI), Process Management(PM), Human Resource Management(HRM), Performance Sharing activity(PS) made significant effect on Financial Performance, and Human Resource Management(HRM) and Performance Sharing(PS) activity made effect on non-financial Performance. Conclusion: The four variables(MI, PM, HRM, PS) of Defense SCQM were significantly effecting Financial performance and two variables(HRM, PS) were significant effected non-Financial performance. We also proved the moderating effect of performance sharing.

This paper has the purpose to find out the causal model between QCC activities and performance. This study consists of four hypotheses. First, QCC teamwork has positive influence on QCC performance. Second, QCC atmosphere has positive influence on QCC performance. Third, QCC autonomy has positive influence on QCC performance. Fourth, this causal model is appropriate for representing the relationship between QCC activities and performance. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. The first and the fourth hypotheses are adopted. The second and the third hypotheses are rejected. Therefore, QCC teamwork will accelerate QCC activities more than atmosphere and autonomy of QCC.

인터넷 서비스 수요의 급증으로 IP망의 대용량화와 고품질 서비스 제공에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이에 대해 네트워크 시설의 확충이나 트래픽 엔지니어링의 적용을 통해 대응해 왔으나, 멀티미디어 서비스 증가, 데이터 유형별 QoS 특성의 차이로 인해 기존에 적용해 오던 망 관리 시스템에의 의존에서 탈피, 현재 나타나고 있는 통신서비스 활동 특성의 변화를 감안, 실제 사용자의 서비스 이용 차원에서 고품질, 광대역 서비스를 제공해 줄 수 있는 관리 방안에 대한 모색이 필요하게 되었다. 이에따라, Intserv, Diffserv, RSVP, MPLS 등이 등장하였고, QoS 보증(SLA)에서는 서비스품질 보장 범위의 확대를 비롯한 다양한 고객요구가 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 통신서비스 전반에 나타나고 있는 차별화된 프리미엄 서비스의 등장에 따른 QoS 보증방안에 대해서 다루고자 한다. 이를 위해, 우선 통신사업자의 네트워크 운용환경 변화방향에 대해 점검해 보고, 프리미엄 서비스의 도입이 가능한 대상과 범위에 대해서도 살펴본다. 이어서, 새로운 서비스 환경에서의 사업 기회와 진략 수립 방향, 법${\cdot}$제도적인 측면을 포함한 사업환경에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

In this paper, we surveyed the literature on QCC(quality control circle) and try to establish principles of activation of QCC activities in Korea. Although QCC activities in Korea, which originated from Japan, have so far made tremendous contributions to our domestic industry, many problems have also been found during the course of a, pp.ication to our industry. In this paper, we have paid much attention to the solution of the problems found during the initial stages and the a, pp.eciation of the achievements of QCC activities until now. We also suggest principles residing in the activities and propose the right direction of our QCC movement. We have made use of many known facts in our analysis and present some of them as evidences of our arguments.

The purpose of this paper is to propose the effective guidance of Quality Circle(QC) activities. Since 1975, variety of organizations in Korea have widely implemented QC activities for their management systems. The industries have enthusiastically used QC activities and were influenced from them. However, the academics were less interested in this subject, as a result, there were no systematic guidances for QC activities. Thus, in this paper, the effective guidance for QC activities were suggested which were based on the survey from QC proceedings presented in the companies, in the local areas and the national wide contests. As a result, the first main issue is to pick repeated mistakes up during the process period such as unmatched the causes and effects relations in characteristics diagrams, improper selection of important control items in Pareto diagram and so on. Secondly, how to overcome statistics and use them for QC activities. Thirdly, to remind team members about Quality Control 7 tools. Finally, Minitab(Release-13) software has been found that it is not matched with using Korean Standards(KS).

많은 6시그마 혁신을 하는 기업 중에서 IS09000 시리즈나 IS0/TS16949 인증을 받고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 6시그마 도입 초기부터 ISO/TS16949와 통합운영을 생각하고 추진하는 곳은 많지 않다. ISO/TS16949에서는 기업전반의 프로세스에 많은 중점을 두고 있다. 그 중에서도 APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning)은 제품 초기에서 부터 명확한 품질계획 업무 프로세스를 가지고 활동을 하라는 필수 프로세스를 요구하고 있다. 그러나 구체적인 Flow나 단계는 각 기업체의 특성에 맞기고 있다. 6시그마의 Lean DFSS는 이러한 제품개발 프로세스의 구체적인 전개단계를 제공 하고 있다. 여기에 APQP에 서 요건으로 명시한 각 프로세스 단계마다 인풋(Input)요소, 아웃풋(Output) 요소, 타켓(Target), 그 프로세스를 책임질 구성원, 핵심성공요인(KSF), 핵심성공지수(KPI), 단계마다의 FMEA(Failure Mode Effect Analysis) 분석을 대응하면 도입 초기에서 부터 상호 유기적이면서 효과적인 System이 된다.

An objective of the 100PPM Quality Renovation, which is settled as the Korea quality renovation activity as well as the form of customer-oriented management renovation climate, is strengthening an enterprise competitiveness by worldwide quality insurance. In long-term, the 21 century's quality problem would not be effective without synthetic approach from the view point of management strategy. Another method to obtain the quality ascendancy could be an strategic application of, manufacturing function. In this research, the progressive direction for an effective approach to the 100PPM Quality Renovation is examined through the interpretation of process capability index. Finally, the deployment direction of quality renovation activity is searched.
