  • The mound grave of Korean traditional funeral culture is a unique habitat which is a Zoysiagrass lawn being sustainable in proper management. We phytosociologically described an unusual Zoysiagrass vegetation with Gueldenstaedtia verna by the Zürich-Montpellier School's method and analyzed eco-floristic characteristics. A new association, Gueldenstaedtio-Zoysietum japonicae ass. nov. hoc loco, was identified and subdivided into festucetosum ovinae, typicum, and trifolietosum repensae. The subassociations were distinguished by the difference in species composition resulting from site accessibility and lawn management method. The association was assigned as not only a regional but also a locally-limited vegetation type, which distributes on a particular microhabitat with strong continentality in the Daegu regional subdistrict of Bioclimatological division. The Zoysiagrass vegetation of Korea was considered as a continental type apparently different from the oceanic type of Zoysion japonicae (Miscanthetea sinensis, Caricetalia nervatae). Mound graves in Korea should be acknowledged as a meaningful habitat for the in-situ conservation of biodiversity and phytocoenosen, despite being a secondary grassland of Gueldenstaedtio-Zoysietum japonicae.

  • The conservation of damaged object should be restored by the similar material with the original and they have to reversibility as possible as. The characteristics of Buddhist mural paintings composed of clay are with soft material. So far, there have been a number of researches done on filling material that reinforces cracks and exfoliation of mural painting. Based on the application of traditional materials, it was found that they are appropriate to various applications. However, only based on those research results, there are some constraints to the application in the field. In addition, there has been only a few researches done on physical characteristics of filling materials. A major issue is that there is not any standard established on various mixing ratio, which is required for treatment of mural painting. This study was carried out to understand the physical characteristics of filling materials on clay mural painting. The 1st test was conducted to analyze test specimen in twelve different conditions by varying soil mixing ratio and organic medium. The 2nd test was conducted to manufacture filling materials appropriate to the mural painting, based on the result of stable condition from the 1st test, and which was applied to treatment in field.

A total of 11 species and 191 individuals of fishes were founded out which were not verified inhabitation before restoration at SSB wetlands. Especially, it was could identified that micro habitat and healthy Fish-way was created because the restored target species, Microphysogobio yaluensis and Iksookimia koreensis were identified that habitation was monitored in SSB wetland. Amphibian have been restored to a number of Rana nigromaculata found in and around wetlands at the time of the third survey, which is highly active after restoration. Specified endangered species class 1 and natural monuments designated by the Ministry of Environment, Lutra lutra lutra, as a Mammalian, uses the wetlands and ecological Fish-way as habitat areas, and the his habitat is restored. In the case of Flora, vascular plants emerging in the survey area were increased to 7 and 13 species before restoration and 15 and 19 species directly after restoration, and 22 species and 33 species after restoration. Vegetation after restoration was found to be a basic producer of various ecosystems and a plant community that contributes to the purification of water quality such as Phragmites japonica communities. As the result of water quality monitoring, the average of treatment efficiencies were BOD 64.3%, T-N 47.2%, T-P 80.7%. Successful treatment of the nonpoint pullution source, which is a limiting factor to disturb the ecosystem, creatively restored the target species in the water quality class I, II.

  • This study is aimed at suggesting information about technical choices for designing LED camping lights based on emotional lighting contents of integrated IOT and design areas which take a central role in creation and knowledge based industries and the procedure for materializing them. 'i-Light,' a portable LED camping light, is 'connected lighting' connecting men, space and emotion and a smart camping light based on IOT and emotional lighting contents. 'i-Light' has two functions. One is about lighting for adjusting color and color temperature naturally and the other is about safety for detecting harmful gases. 'i-Light' also has various emotional functions for experiencing interaction and taste of light. For the purpose, portable LED camping lights were designed, first of all, and then a highly color rendering/full-color lighting module, a smart sensor module and an IOT device platform were developed. In addition, efforts were made to establish detailed data about emotional lighting contents and to develop a Web application based on them. Finally, prototypes of portable LED camping lights were made to get a test bench and usability evaluation from related organizations. According to the results, all of 12 developed emotional lighting contents and three IOT safety sensors were suitable and prototypes were satisfactory. This paper will suggest a direction about actual technical choices for development of contents and products integrating artificial intelligence and big data and about the procedure for materializing them.

  • Centella asiatica (L.) Urban is a medicinal plant containing madecassic acid, triterpenoids and asiaticoside, and has a wound healing effect. However, since it grows only in some regions of Korea, it is necessary to breed stable varieties. In this study, it were analyzed for the growth characteristics, asiaticoside, anxiodant components and 2,2-diphenyl-1picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavening activity of C. asiatica collected from domestic natural habitat (Hapcheon, Gyeongnam). In the growth characteristics of each resource, CA9 and CA10 were superior in characteristics of aerial part and in dry weight. In asiaticoside content analysis, CA5 and CA3 were high with 53.96 mg/g and 52.40 mg/g, respectively. CA12 showed the possibility of development because the resource showed high in total flavonoid (7.3 mg/g), total polyphenol (10.64 mg/g) and DPPH activity (11.96 mg AAE/g) among other resources. However, it is necessary to select a resource suitable for each characteristic of C. asiatica and to study charateristics through additional resources collection since the excellent growth characteristics of the collected resources do not necessarily coincide with the content and antioxidant activities.

  • This study is based on 'Sangkwan' in 'Jeokcheonsucheonmi' among Myeongri classical theory as a guideline, and is a consideration research on past 'Sangkwan' in the rest of Myeongri classical theory. The first words about 'Sangkwan' in the original text is that the interpretation is very difficult when Sangkwan looks at 'Jeongkwan'. When we say 'Jeongkwan', it contains the interpretation on the person who should take on the heavy responsibility of the state in the monarchy, and there is a concern about how it can be easily interpreted by neglecting it because 'Sangkwan' have a bad effect on 'Jeongkwan'. Unlike modern times, in the past, there was no other way but to become government officials to be successful socially and accumulate wealth. There should be big difference in standard of fortune and success in an era where success conditions and opportunities were difficult to be given. That is, it was though in the past that 'Sangkwan' which has a bad influence on 'Jeongkwan' have a detrimental effect awfully. However, in today's scientific society, the use of 'Sangkwan' which has a bad influence on 'Jeongkwan' has come to light in a wide variety of places. Therefore, this study is to lay a foundation for the expansion of reinterpretation and utilization methods suitable for the times through the consideration of classical 'Sangkwan'.

  • Matrix theory is widely used not only in mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering, but also in social sciences and artificial intelligence. In the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum, matrices were removed from high school math education to reduce the burden on students, but in anticipation of the age of artificial intelligence, they will be reintegrated into the 2022 revised education curriculum. Therefore, there is a need to analyze the matrix content covered in other countries to suggest a meaningful direction for matrix education and to derive implications for textbook composition. In this study, we analyzed the German mathematics curriculum and standard education curriculum, as well as the matrix units in the German Hesse state mathematics curriculum and textbook, and identified the characteristics of their content elements and development methods. As a result of our analysis, it was found that the German textbooks cover matrices in three categories: matrices for solving linear equations, matrices for explaining linear transformations, and matrices for explaining transition processes. It was also found that the emphasis was on mathematical reasoning and modeling when learning matrices. Based on these findings, we suggest that if matrices are to be reintegrated into school mathematics, the curriculum should focus on deep conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and mathematical modeling in textbook composition.
