Recently the Government has classified the construction specifications into three types such as national standard specifications, owner's standard specifications and project specifications, by the revision of the Law of Construction Technology Management. And the Government provided that project owner shall use the project specifications that are written by excerption from, revision of, and supplement to the national standard specifications or the owner's standard specitications etc.. The present study suggests the writing way of national standard specifications, owner's standard specifications and project specifications in these situations.

건축전기설비 표준시방서는 건축설비의 안전 및 공사시행의 적정성과 품질확보 등을 위한 표준적인 시공기준으로서 발주자 또는 설계등의 용역업자가 공사 시방서를 작성하는 경우 활용하기 위한 시공기준이다. 이번에 개정된 건축전기설비공사 표준시방서는 국제규격(NEC)등의 내용을 참조하여 종전 시방서의 수변전설비, 조명설비, 동력설비, 방재전기설비, 예비전원설비, 정보설비 부분에 대한 대폭적인 개정이 이루어졌다.

한국건설기술연구원(원장 이재명)과 한국조명.전기설비학회(회장 지철근)는 공동으로 종래 사용하여 오던 '건축전기설비공사 표준시방서'를 건설교통부의 지원으로 개정하였습니다. 앞으로 건설시장개방에 대응하기 위하여 건축전기설비공사 부문의 본 시방서가 계속 보완발전되도록 건축전기설비 기술자 제현의 많은 조건이 있으시기 바라오며, 표준시방서의 역할과 구성체계및 개정 내용에 대해서 간단히 소개하고자 합니다.

This study is to establish the direction to produce owner's basic specifications (English version) necessary for producing project specifications available internationally in the projects to develop water resources. The principal conclusions of this study are as follows; (1) The original text necessary for producing the international owner's basic specifications should be specifications of one part between northern America and Europe. (2) The work break down structure of the international owner's basic specifications shall be conform to the international break down structure of specifications, and the MasterFormat(2004) of CSI is recommended. (3) The construction management methods, for example, as to standards, laws, and etc. in the international owner's basic specifications should be available internationally.

This study examined the reliability and revision necessity of concrete standard specifications based on the comparisons with test data obtained by using domestic artificial lightweight aggregates and the contents specified in different foreign specifications including ACI 211.2, ACI 213, ACI 301, JASS 5 and CEB-FIP. To achieve the continuous particle distribution of domestic fine lightweight aggregates, the partial addition of natural sand with the maximum size of 2.5mm was required. To control the segregation and excessive bleeding in the fresh lightweight concrete, the current limitations on the water-to-binder ratio and unit water content need to be modified using lower values. In particular, a rational mixture proportion approach of lightweight concrete needs to be established for the targeted requirements of initial slump, 28-day compressive strength, air content and dry unit weight. Ultimately, significant revision of the concrete standard specifications is required considering the characteristics of domestic artificial lightweight aggregates.

Considering that the classified items in the work section level can have an applicability when those items are being used to cost and specification information with consistency, the work section classification code should be applied as an Integrated code system. Our construction industry is using three work section classification systems for civil engineering projects, such as integrated construction information classification system, standard method of measurement and guide of project specification. And each standard construction specification is also using different work section classification systems. This study suggests a methodology to integrate the code systems in construction specifications with civil engineering standard method of measurement. And the methodology suggested in this study was applied to a web-based prototype system with practical specification codes.

Nowadays, domestic construction companies make an effort to share knowledge and experience accumulated while conducting a project. One way of improving knowledge sharing is to develop specifications which are linked to the expert's knowledge and experience based on the specification classification. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to review the current domestic specification system and develop the specification linked to the construction lessons learned database. It is expected that the proposed specification system will support the decision making process by effectively providing the knowledge and solution.

The Korean government established a domestic specification system, and regulated that owner should produced construction project specifications, instead of special provisions, in design phase, January 1998. But in Korea the ability of construction engineers for construction project specification are insufficient. So the government had built up a database of standard specifications and developed a supporting system for writing construction project specification(SPECMAKE) in 1999. However, it is a PC base stand-alone system, so it is not convenient to update the database. In order to overcome these limitations, the purpose of this paper builds up a database of construction criteria and develops a automatic writing system for construction project specification on web base. The database contains standard specifications, design and construction guidelines related with construction business. And this paper describes the frameworks, the components, and the functions of the specifications writing system for the construction projects.
