A Study on Segmenting of Cruiser Customers (관광유람선 고객의 시장세분화에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted for market segmentation of cruise tourist according to launching the "T" in Busan. Benefit segmentation was used to identify attributes of cruise services; importance of ship's physical appearance and importance of service and activities. 24 attributes were distilled to 5 factors: 'Facility & Service', 'Atmospherics of cruise ship', 'Escape', 'Choice', 'Safety'. A K-means cluster analysis identified three clustered segments for five importance factors in which high loyalty customers were found to be the most important segment. Based on the findings, three distinct groups were formed: 'Moderators', 'High Loyalty', 'Spurious'. The most important factors by high loyalty groups were identified 'Safety', 'Facility & Service', 'Atmospherics of cruise ship', 'Choice', 'Escape' in order. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences among the three groups in terms of demographic and behavioral variables. Especially, the target market should be considered by 'High Loyalty' group and 'Moderators' group in order. Positioning strategies and marketing mix strategies for effectively targeting the segments were discussed.

Influences on Health Behaviors Execution and Self Rated Health as Socioeconomic Class by the Age Bracket (연령층별 사회경제적 계층에 따른 건강행위 실천과 주관적 건강수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of present study was to observe the path and influencing effects between socioeconomic class (SEC), health practices and self-rated health(SRH) by the age bracket. The subjects were 4,987 adults over 25 years old who participated in the 2008 Korean National Examination Health and Nutrition Survey and could be classified into SEC in terms of the three characteristics: education, income and occupation. Path analysis was conducted with the effects of health behaviors execution on the differences in SRH, and the complex samples analysis executed by chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA. As the result, lower SRH level paralleled with the lower SEC, and more health behaviors had differed by SEC in the younger and middle aged group. The lower SEC, the lower SRH: non-smoking and weight control for younger women and exercise for aged men had indirect effects as parameters. In conclusion, when planning a health promotion program, to select the correct target populations with consideration of the age bracket, gender and SEC and to establish tailored contents fit for each of the population would be important.

의류상품 소비자의 판매촉진 반응유형과 쇼핑성향

  • 본 연구는, 그 동안 간과되어 왔던 의류 상품의 판촉에 초점을 맞추어, 판촉의 여러 방법 별 소비자들의 반응 정도를 알아보고, 그 반응 경향이 소비자의 인구통계적 특성, 판촉에 대한 태도, 의복 쇼핑 성향, 기타 의복 구매 행동과 연관성을 가지는지를 규명함을 목적으로 한다. 수도권 거주 여성 444명을 대상으로 수집한 자료를 이용해 분석이 이루어졌다. 실증적 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 판촉의 각 방법에 대한 소비자들의 반응 정도는 가격 할인이 가장 높았고 그 다음은 디스플레이, 쿠폰, 사은품, 백화점 패션쇼, 경품의 순서로 나타났다. 가격 할인, 디스플레이, 사은품, 쿠폰, 백화점 패션쇼 등 5가지 판촉 방법에 대한 소비자 반응 정도를 기준으로 군집분석한 결과 판촉에 대한 반응 유형에 있어 차이를 보이는 5개 집단을 규명할 수 있었다. 각 집단의 인구통계적 특성들 중에서는 소비자 자신의 학력과 자녀의 연령만이 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 각 집단의 판촉 태도는 집단 간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 각 집단은 의복 쇼핑 성향 및 의복 구매 관련 정보원 이용에서 차이를 보였다. 결론에서는, 실증적 연구의 결과 판촉에 대한 소비자 반응 유형별로 인구통계적 특성, 판촉 태도, 의복 쇼핑 성향, 기타 의복 구매 행동에 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었으므로 의류 상품의 판촉 전략 수립시 표적 집단의 특성에 따라 판촉 방법 선택이나 판촉 정보 전달 경로 등을 조절하는 것이 필요함을 제언하였다. 예를 들어, 신중/경제적 쇼핑 성향을 가지며 판촉에 대한 태도가 호의적인 소비자들에 대해서는 다양한 정보 전달 경로를 통해 가격 할인이나 쿠폰을 제공하는 것이 좋은 판촉 방법이 될 것이며, 쾌락/유행 지향적이고 상표/품질을 중시하는 소비자들에 대해서는 잡지, 인적 정보, 카탈로그 등을 정보 전달 경로로 하여 디스플레이나 패션쇼를 통해 판매 촉진을 할 수 있을 것이다.0.10 $h^{-1}$과 0.09$h^{-1}$h-1이었고, 반감기는 각각 6.93 및 7.70시간으로 측정되었다. 각각의 농도에서 12시간 및 8시간 이후에는 g당 0.19$\mu\textrm{g}$ 및 0.18$\mu\textrm{g}$이하로 떨어짐을 알 수 있었다. Phosphamidon과 profenofos의 급성어독성은 profenofos가 높았고, BCF profenofos가 phosphamidon보다 약 100배 정도 높게 나타났으며, 배설속도는 phosphamidon이 profenofos보다 약 2배 정도 빨랐다.

Segmentation of the Cosmetics Market according to Shopping Orientation (구매성향에 따른 화장품시장 세분화)

  • The competitiveness of the domestic cosmetics market will improve more rapidly when efficient market segmentation is secured, qualitative information about each of the segmented markets is gathered, and adequate marketing strategies to meet the demands of each segmented markets is established. Therefore, continuous studies are needed to secure qualitative information for market segmentation. In order to find out whether the domestic cosmetics market could be segmented according to consumers' shopping orientation, the present study analyzed cosmetics purchasing behavior, complaint behavior, and demographic characteristics of each consumer group classified according to their shopping orientation. The study was implemented by a normative-descriptive survey method using a questionnaire. Three groups of consumers were identified according to their shopping orientation: price-oriented group, information-oriented group, and brand-oriented group. It was confirmed that the groups, classified according to shopping orientation, have significantly different demographic, purchasing, and complaint behavior. Therefore, shopping orientation should be carefully considered in the segmentation of the cosmetics market.

Study on the Message Framing for Effective Campaigns to Prevent Suicides : A Group Suicide Ideation and without Suicide Ideation (효과적인 자살예방 캠페인을 위한 메시지 프레이밍 연구 : 자살생각이 있는 집단과 없는 집단을 대상으로)

  • This study explored message framing methods for effective campaigns to prevent suicide. In particular, the study reviews the gain message and the loss message. In the effect of campaign message, gender differences and Any differences between the suicide high risk group and low risk group were explored. Subjects were a total of 98 people. A total of 10 messages were presented as loss framing and gain framing, respectively. The attitude towards these messages were then measured. Suicide low risk group showed favorable attitude toward gain framing messages that emphasized the benefits of not committing suicide. Meanwhile suicide high risk group showed a similar effect of gain framing and loss framing. Compared to men, women showed a favorable attitude toward gain framing. also high persuasive effects. In other words, this indicates that a more effective way of expressing messages to prevent suicides is to take a positive approach rather than a negative approach. Implications of the these findings are discussed and directions for future research are advanced.

Extraction and Analysis of Construction Phase Risk Factors in High-rise Construction Project (초고층 건설공사 시공단계 리스크 요인 도출 및 분석)

  • High-rise buildings construction project have various risk factors. Major risk factors are negative results such as time delay and increase of costs. Therefore, this study was analyzed risk factors in construction stages of high-rise buildings using by PROMETHEE technique. For this, this research were identified risk factors through experts Focus Group Interview(FGI). And, PROMETHEE was used to setup evaluation standard for analysis of high-rise building construction risks. Next, the standard of evaluation index calculation was composed by using the definition level in PDRI. Preference function and evaluation index were identified through questionnaires. Through these processes, this study has calculated the importance of high-rise building construction risks using by PROMETHEE technique. As a result, high degree risk factors were as following. These are 'Operation plan of material lifting', 'Outrigger & Belt Truss Construction', 'Foundation work plan of high-rise building' and 'Considering a Structure concept of high-rise building'.

A Study of Factors for Evaluating Smartphone Selection and Use using Fuzzy AHP (Fuzzy AHP를 활용한 스마트폰 선택 및 이용 평가요인에 관한 연구)

  • Smartphones are widely used as a mobile communication devices with more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a contemporary feature phone. As the market expands, many brand-new smartphones are released and chosen by (potential) smartphone users. In spite of smartphone's popularity, little research of the factors affecting the evaluation of smartphones and their influences on smartphone choice have been performed. Therefore, we aim to analyze evaluation factors of smartphone selection and use in this research. We use Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method, a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) model, to find the relative importance among the factors considering the fuzziness of pair-wise comparison using AHP. After reviewing related works and interviewing the focus group, we extract the five independent factors influencing the choice and use of a smartphone. Pair-wise comparison and triangle fuzzy numbers are used to calculate the relative importance of factors. We analyze not only the whole interviewees' responses, but the differences between smartphone users and non-users. Practical implications are delivered in concluding remarks.

Proposal of Bus-stop Information Design Guideline Based on User Experience Design -The Case of Seoul Metropolitan City- (사용자 경험 디자인을 기반으로 한 버스정류장 정보 디자인 가이드라인 제안 연구 -서울시를 중심으로-)

  • The aim of this study is to propose guidelines for bus-stop information design that is more congested with the advent of U-Shelter, via case studies and focus group interviews. First, the literature research explored the concept of information design and correlation of information design and route map. Second, raising problems and consider improvement plans through case study in korea, overseas. Finally, current information design was evaluated and user's requests were derived through focus group interview. The current information design had problems with lack of priority, information overlaying, and hard recognition. Priority shall be selected by bus route, direction of bus, arrival time, interval, and operating time, and information overlay can be reduced into one. Also visualize the connection and direction between the lines using schematic and two-dimensional lines and shapes for recognition. Through this study, it will be used as a reference material to help improve and develop the bus-stop information design.

The Study on the Applying Methods for EBLIP in Korean Librarianship (실무자의 근거출판 활성화를 통한 근거중심 문헌정보실무의 국내 적용 방안)

  • EBLIP seeks to improve library practice by utilizing the best available evidence in conjunction with a pragmatic perspective developed from working experiences in librarianship. The purpose of this study is to apply the evidence-based library and information practice(EBLIP) in Korean librarianship with encouraging the practitioners to publish in their workplace. Content analysis on papers accepted for publication among five LIS journals and focus group interview were performed in order to investigate the contexts and perceptions on the publishing activities of practicing librarians. While the proportion of papers that librarians wrote was calculated at 26 percent among the sample, the percentage of papers with librarians as a single author was only 9.2. Significant obstacles for librarians to publish papers due to organizational level were observed. The author suggests organizational support and better framework for communicating research based on practice such as publication of evidence-based practical journal and the adoption of structural abstract. The findings reinforce the importance of teaching rigorous research methods in workplace.

An Exploratory Study of Smartphone Fashion Application to Promote Mobile Shopping (모바일 쇼핑 활성화를 위한 스마트폰 패션 어플리케이션에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • As smartphones permeate the consumer lifestyle, branded application and mobile shopping have also received increased attention as an important marketing channel. This study identifies the general information about the use of smartphones, attitudes toward fashion applications, and mobile shopping intentions for smartphone users. Focus group interviews were conducted and 22 interviewees participated. The age of the participants ranged from 21 to 45 years old (55% were females). When examining the motivation to adopt a smartphone, respondents presented the comparable characteristics of early adopters and late adopters according to the time of adoption. Most respondents over the age of 30 showed some troubles to use a smartphone; however, participants in their 20s tended to enjoy exploring the new technology. More than half of respondents were aware of fashion applications, but were dissatisfied with fashion apps and used them infrequently. Respondents pointed out that fashion related apps were not too practical because they were not updated regularly, provided only limited information, and focused on brand promotions. In order to increase the intention to adopt mobile shopping, the price and payment security system needs to be considered. This was an exploratory study to identify the possibility of fashion branded apps as a major distribution channel. The findings of this study provide fundamental information to formulate marketing strategies for fashion businesses that have developed fashion apps.
