We propose a method for sample size determination using design effect formulas when a sample is resigned for a repeated survey. The proposed method enables the determination of the sample size by incorporating the impact of various design components to the sampling error through design effect formulas that are applicable under multistage sampling design and stratified multistage sampling designs.

시제품을 만들어 본 후 대량 생산에 들어가는 여느 공업과는 달리, 조선공업에서는 시제품을 미리 만들어 볼 수가 없으므로 실선의 성능을 미리 추정하는 것은 참으로 중요한 과제 중의 하 나이다. 그 가운데 하나인 저항추진성능을 추정하는 데에는 통계해석 방법이 널리 쓰이고 있다. 여기서 통계해석은 모형시험 결과를 표본자료로 한 통계해석을 말한다. 실선의 저항추진성능을 추정하는 것이므로 실선 속력시운전 자료를 사용하는 것이 좋겠으나, 실선 속력시운전에서 정 확한 값을 얻는다는 것이 거의 불가능하므로 대부분 모형시험 값을 이용하곤 한다. 본 고에서는 기존에 발표된 여러 가지 도표와 회귀식을 요약하여 본 후, 표본자료를 이용하여 새로운 회귀 식을 만드는 과정을 소개하고자 한다.

One of the Repeated survey which estimates variability of population, we can be consider rotation sample survey. There are two kinds of rotation sample survey - onelevel rotation sample survey and multi-level rotation sample survey. In rotation sample survey, Composite estimator is used to measure level or level change of the population. This study suggests Generalized Composite estimator as considering intraclass correlation in multi-level rotation sample survey, and optimal weight minimizing variance of estimator. Numerical example shows efficiency of Generalized Composite estimator as considering intraclass correlation according to the sample unit and change degree of intraclass correlation in the rotation group.

We propose a new sampling design for the Korean Livestock Production Cost Survey. In this sampling design, the survey population is derived from the 2005’s agricultural census of Korea. And coefficient of variation(CV) is estimated from the current livestock production cost survey data, and the estimated CV’s are used to find the optimal sample size which satisfies the predetermined precision of estimation. In order to save the enumeration cost, the agriculture enumeration districts are used as a primary sampling unit(psu). Final sample is selected by double sampling. Also, we propose the estimator which is able to reflect the change of the population of livestock production households.

표본의 크기의 제1종오류의 확률 $\alpha$, 실용적으로 차이가 있다고 판독되어서 검출하고자하는 요인효과의 오차에 대한 상대적인 크기, 그 값에서의 제2종오류의 확률 $\beta$에 따라서 결정된다. 이 논문에서, 우리는 고정요인과 랜덤요인이 포함된 실험계획에서 표본의 크기를 결정하는 방법을 간단한 MATLAB 프로그램을 사용하여 고려한다. 분할법과 지분요인배치법의 예제를 들어 유의수준 $\alpha$와 최소 표준과 검출효과 $\Delta^*$에서 검정력이 적어도 $1-\beta$를 갖도록 표본의 크기를 결정한다

붓스트랩 기법에 의한 k 인자 허용구간방법을 95/95 확률 및 신뢰도를 갖는 허용구간에 활용하기 위하여 모의실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 소표본 및 적당한 크기의 표본에서 추정된 신뢰도값은 실제 신뢰도값 95와 약 6${\sim}$21% 정도의 차이를 나타냈고, 이 차이는 표본크기가 커질수록 점점 줄어들었다. 더불어 기존방법에 보간법 등을 가미한 방법들을 제안하여 이들에 의한 결과를 기존결과와 비교하였다.

표본의 크기가 작은 경우 추정치의 정도에 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 대규모 조사에서의 표본을 소지역 혹은 소도메인에 할당하였을 경우 발생하는 추정치의 문제점을 해결하는 방안으로서 회귀모형을 도입하였다. 회귀모형을 기계산업 표본설계 자료에 적용하여 소지역추정의 가능성을 확인하였으며, 고전적인 추정방법과의 비교도 함께 이루어졌다.

Transport survey has been conducted annually by the Korea National Statistical Office (KNSO) in order to acquire information on business activities of the transport industry such as the number of employees, remuneration, revenue, expenses and tangible fixed assets, etc. The results of this survey are widely used for formulating economic policies of government and management plans of business and also for research activities. In this thesis, we provide the sampling design of the transport survey, and describe the management of sample in KNSO.

항목 무응답은 표본조사에서 비표본오차를 발생시키는 중요한 요인으로 지적되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재까지 통계조사의 분석과정에서 직관적으로 제시된 다양한 항목 무응답 대체방법들을 정리하고, 이런 방법들 간의 장.단점과 무응답의 발생 형태에 다른 대체 효과를 실제 사회조사 자료를 이용한 모의 실험을 통하여 비교, 분석하였다.

하나의 가구에서 대표되는 사람을 뽑는 문제가 조사의 마지막 단계에서 종종 발생한다. 일반적으로 가구내에서 성별과 연령에 따라 최종 조사단위로 선정되는 표본은 대표성에 문제가 있기 때문에 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로서 Kish-격자를 이용한 방법을 사용하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 한국의 가구형태에 따라 기존의 Kish-격자를 수정하여 대표성 있는 표본을 선택하는 문제를 다루었다.
