Development of Inspection System for Surface of a Shock Absorber Rod using Machine vision (머신비전을 이용한 업쇼버 로드의 표면검사 시스템 개발)

  • A shock absorber rod is located in the center of the absorber piston and is responsible for the reciprocating movement portion. If it has surface defects, the damping performance of product will be adversely affected. A rod surface has gloss by heat treatment. Therefore, it is difficult to find a defect, such as dust, imprints, and blowholes. Because a total inspection is achieved by visual inspection by workers, it causes eyestrain and the quality of the product is not constant. In this paper, a machine vision system was developed to find a defect using a line-scan camera. The machine can detect surface defects than 0.3mm. To minimize the occurrence probability of defects on the inspection process, the developed auto inspection system had an automatic feeding system and incorporated a protection system. Through the development of this system, which relies on the operator's visual inspection of the surface of the shock absorber, the Rod inspection system constructed quality inspection standards and standardized tests to ensure improved reliability.

  • Quality control in the smart factory manufacturing process is an important factor. Currently, quality inspection of home appliance manufacturing parts produced by the mold process is mostly performed with the naked eye of the operator, resulting in a high error rate of inspection. In order to improve the quality competition, an automatic defect detection system was designed and implemented. The proposed system acquires an image by photographing an object with a high-performance scan camera at a specific location, and reads defective products due to scratches, dents, and foreign substances according to the vision inspection algorithm. In this study, the depth-based branch decision algorithm (DBD) was developed to increase the recognition rate of defects due to scratches, and the accuracy was improved.

  • 최근 첨단 기능화 되고 있는 반도체의 회로는 증가하고 칩의 브릿지도 점점 증가하고 있다. 반면에 제품은 소형화되고 회로폭은 미세화 하고, 피치는 감소하고 있다. 이에 회로의 정확한 검사를 위해서는 Probe Pin의 신뢰성을 중요시하게 되면서 도금기술의 고품질화가 요구되는 실정이다. 본연구에서는 Probe Pin과 내구성과 금도금 피막의 두께를 확보하여 국산 반도체 검사장비 시장을 선도 할 수 있도록 금도금피막의 두께와 밀착성 확보와 함께 굽힘시험시 박리와 크랙방지를 위한 기초연구를 수행하고자 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 머신러닝의 한 종류인 YOLOv5를 이용하여 기존 육안 선별작업을 자동화 하는 기계를 설계하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 영상촬영과 선별작업을 진행하는 컨베이어 기구와 선별 프로그램을 제작하고, 모든 표면을 검사해 사과의 품질을 3단계로 구별하는 작업을 진행하였다. 결과적으로 투입된 사과의 품질을 성공적으로 분류 하였다.

  • In manufacturing processing of a secondary battery, the visual inspection system is studied and developed to check the surface defects of the electrode plates. It consists of two parts, one is the hardware control and the other software implementation. The former is made up to the system configuration and the design of the optical system, the illuminations and the controllers. The latter is the detection algorithms of the surface defects. This system achieves the quality improvement of the electrode process and the price competitiveness. By using the proposed defects detection algorithms this system demonstrates the high reliability of spot, line, manhole, extraneous substance, scratch, and crater defect of a electrode plate surface.

홍삼을 첨가한 레몬과편의 품질특성

  • 홍삼분말을 사용하여 홍삼의 독특한 풍미와 약리적 기능을 접목시켜 기호성을 높이고 기능성을 부여한 제품을 개발하기 위하여 레몬즙 21.4%, 고구마전분 6.7%, 물 53.3%, 설탕 13.3%, 꿀 5.3%를 첨가하여 제조한 레몬과편에 홍삼을 각각 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10%첨가하여 제조하였다. 레몬홍삼과편은 pH, 색도, 관능검사와 기계적 물성검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 pH는 2.95-3.00정도로 홍삼 첨가량에 영향이 없었으며 관능검사 항목 중 표면색은 홍삼의 함량이 증가할수록 진했다. (중략)

  • 피혁 제품의 품질을 결정함에 있어 제일 중요한 요인은 눈에 보이는 표면상태이다. 지금까지는 피혁공장에서 대부분의 피혁을 육안으로 선별하여 오고 있는데 이러한 방법은 등급을 구분하는데 많은 노동력과 시간이 소모되고, 일관성이 부족할 뿐만 아니라 미세한 결함이나 정밀한 치수를 감지할 수가 없어 그 등급의 품질에 문제가 발생한다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 실시간 영상처리와 AI를 이용하여 피혁 자동 등급 선별 시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 제안한 선별 시스템의 설계는 세계 피혁업계와 차별을 기하고 검사시간을 단축하여 생산 효율성을 증대하면, 등급의 표준화 및 품질의 고급화를 도모할 수 있다.

  • It has been highly required to develope an automatic metal surface inspection system, specifically using image processing techniques, which can replace the visual inspection method in the steel industry. In this paper, we propose a precisional surface measurement system using the moving average image processing technique. When the surface patterns which are generated in the rolling process of metal plates are recognized as defects, the proposed system can measure the actual number of defects. It has been proved that our system shows better results than the conventional FFT method.

  • Despite the number of backlight manufacturer is increased as the market of flat panel display equipments and related development devices is enlarged, the inspection based on the human eye is still used in many backlight production lines. The defects such as particle, spot and scratch on the light emitting surface of the backlight prevent the LCD device from displaying the colors correctly. From that manual inspection it is difficult to maintain the quality of backlight consistently because the accuracy and the speed of the inspection may change with the physical condition of the operater. In this paper we studied on the development of automatic backlight surface defect inspection system. For this, we made up of the computer vision system and we developed the main program with various user interfaces to operate the inspection system effectively. And we developed the image processing module to extract the defect information. Furthermore, we presented the labeling process to reconstruct defect regions using the labeling table and the defect index. From the experimental results, we found that our system can detect all defect regions identified from human eye and it is sufficient to substitute for the conventional surface inspection.

  • Fastener is a very important component that is used in various areas in industry. Recently, various color fasteners are introduced. According to this, online inspection is required in this area. In this paper, an algorithm for the automatic extraction of the surface of color fastener using color information and dynamic programming is presented. The outer boundary of fastener is found using the difference of color that enables robust processing. The inner boundary of fastener is found by dynamic programming that uses the difference of brightness value within fixed area after converting image to polar coordinate. Experiments are done using the same parameters.
