Results indicated that female adolescents(41.9%) reported experience of inflicting dating violence more frequently than male adolescents(29.1%) did. The girls were more positive toward violence than the boys, while the boys were more expressing aggression at school than the girls were. Adolescents who had inflicted violence toward their dating partners had singificantly higher frait anger and anger-out than adolescents who had not. Logistic regression analysis indicated that father to mother violence, community violence, trait anger, and recipient of dating violence are predictors of dating violence for male, while father to mother violence, community violence, history of violence, and recipient of dating violence are predictors for female.
This study examined the pathway through which adolescents' exposure to domestic violence could lead them to become addicted to Internet games. A total of 709 middle school and high school students were used as subjects and data from the 'domestic violence on children and adolescent' section of the 2010 National Data on Domestic Violence were used. The results of analysis using structural equations showed that the subjects' exposure to domestic violence did not directly affect their addiction to Internet games but that it indirectly affected their addiction through decrease in parental attachment. This can be interpreted to mean that when parents who should be a source of safety for their children become agents and recipients of violence, adolescents come to feel alienated because they cannot form any secure attachment to their parents and cannot build trust or emotional stability in their real-life parents, and they accordingly become absorbed in the virtual world of games. The results of the analysis were then used to discuss action plans for the prevention and intervention of adolescents' internet game addiction.

This study examines the problems of children exposed to family violence. As a result, the children exposed to family violence exhibit various emotional, behavioral and social problems and distorted perceptions and inappropriate reactions toward family violence. Based on these results and existing programs for children exposed family violence, an integrative group program has been devised. The program was applied to two groups of the children and an experimental study was conducted to examine its effectiveness on emotional problems, aggressiveness, social skills and perceptions/reactions toward family violence. As a result, the experimental groups have shown an overall significant improvement in scores on emotional problems, aggressiveness, social skills and perceptions/reactions toward family violence. The study offers the following recommendations for clinical social work practice. First, great efforts to alleviating the problems of children exposed to family violence should be made continually. Second, special attention should be paid to reflect the characteristics of our own culture in clinical social work intervention and to do so, various practical intervention skills suitable to our culture should be developed. Finally, many different intervention models for children exposed family violence should be developed and researches comparing those models should be carried out.

The purpose of this study was to examine violence response, burnout, and job satisfaction according to violent episodes of emergency room workers. Methods : This Study was a descriptive survey design using convenience sampling. This study was exempt from needing an IRB approval. There were 167 emergency room workers, who agreed to participate in this study, and took a self-report questionnaire between July and August 2015. SPSS 21.0 version was used for descriptive analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) 84.4% of participant experienced violent episodes. The frequency of verbal violence was highest. Violent attackers were patients and guardians with drunken state. The time of violence episodes was usually during the night. Violent experience of doctors and nurses was very high. 2) There were significant differences in the emotional response according to violent episodes (t=2.528, p=0.12) 3) The correlation between \response and burnout was statistically significant, and indicates a high positive correlation (r=.616, p=<.001). The correlation between violence response and job satisfaction was statistically significant, indicating a negative correlation (r=-.512, p=<.001). There was a negative correlation between burnout and job satisfaction with statistical significance (r=-.568, p=<.001). 4) Significant factors influencing job satisfaction were emotional response to violence and burnout. For this aims, we carried out a survey, survey subjects in shelter for teenage runaway participated in this research. T-test and variance analysis attempted to compare degree of violence experience of respondents by personal and institutional characteristics. According to result of analysis, age in the midst of personal characteristics is meaning difference and duty-time and type of shelter in the midst of institutional characteristics revealed meaning difference. Next, Multi-regression analysis tried to explore relative factor influencing on client's violence. The results, age in the midst of personal characteristics is relative with physical violence, duty-year in present institution is relative with etc harm. Also, duty-time per week of institutional characteristics is relative all with four type of violence. Type of shelter is relative with property harm, emotional violence and etc harm. The present study explored and compared the risk factors of two subtypes of maritally violent men with those of a nonviolent comparison group. One type of batterers consisted of a community sample, and the other was sought from the criminal justice system. The identities of the male community batterers were not exposed to the society since their victims did not contact any of the social service agents related to domestic violence. To identify the different characteristics associated with two subtypes of woman abusers, a total of 152 nonviolent men, 82 male community batterers, and 336 offenders in a criminal justice system were considered. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the level of physical violence of the community batterers was two times lower than that of the batterers who received legal punishments. The results of the multinominal logistic regression were as follows: (1) The variables that distinguished the male community batterers from the nonviolent men were the use of physical violence towards children, marital decision power, and income. (2) Four factors had been found to distinguish batterers in the criminal justice system from nonbatterers, namely: attitudes towards woman battering, education, violence towards children, and level of jealousy. (3) The community batterers showed a higher level of education and of stress as well as a longer period of marital relationship compared to the batterers in the criminal justice system. On the other hand, the batterers who received legal punishments had more severe alcohol problems and had an accepting attitude towards the use of violence. This study also investigated psychopathology among batterers using MCMI-III, based on 333 subjects. In terms of the mean scores, there were no subscales associated with personality pathology in all the male groups. Based on the logit model, the community batterers showed a stronger tendency towards having a passive-aggressive personality than did their counterparts, and they recorded a higher level of narcissism compared to the court-referred battering men. Post-traumatic stress was the only symptom that distinguished the batterers who received legal punishments from the other groups. The theoretical and practical implications of these results were pointed out and discussed in the paper.
