  • 음성인식, 합성 및 분석과 같은 음성신호처리 분야에 있어서 피치검출이나 포만트검출은 매우 중요하다. 주파수 영역의 스펙트럼 신호는 잡음이 부가되는 경우에도 고조파정보와 포만트 포락선 정보를 유지하기 때문에 음성신호처리분야에서 매우 유용하다고 할 수 있다. 고조파 정보나 포만트 포락선 정보는 피치검출과 포만트 주파수 검출에 직접 이용된다 하지만 두 성분을 분리하는 방법에 따라 피치검출이나 포만트 주파수 검출에 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 기존의 방법보다 두 성분을 더 잘 분리할 수 있는 방법이 필요한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 스펙트럼 신호를 최대한 평탄화시킴으로써 포만트의 영향을 제거하고 고조파 성분을 분리해 내어 이를 피치검출에 사용한다. LSP를 이용하여 적응적 밴드에서 평탄화를 시도하고 이를 피치 검출에 이용하였다.

  • In this paper we present a multiple capture model for common spreading code CDMA packet radio systems with star topology. Basic equations for the collision free, header detection. and multiple capture probabilities are derived at the central receiver. Link performances. including the average number of packet captures, allowable number of simultaneous transmission, and system throughput are theoretically evaluated for a hybrid system. combining envelope header detection and differential data detection, Using the Block Oriented Systems Simulator(BOSS), simulations were carried out for the central receivers with envelope or differential geader detection, It is shown that for a threshold approx-imation to the probability of data packet success, the mulyiple capture model significantly improves system throughput.

  • In this paper, several bandwidth sampling methods were compared using experimental result in which contains "multi-order sampling", which was proposed for envelope detections in RF ultrasonic signals. A "Quadrature sampling method" and "Second-order sampling method" were compared with it. The resultant image of second-order sampling method introduces too much error as compared with the result of quadrature sampling. But Multi-order sampling method, specialy 5-th sampling method showed quite good envelope detection property. This means that more economical and quite good performance digital beamforming system can be built by adopting this multi-order sampling method.s multi-order sampling method.

  • The damage of tire by damage material classification method is researched as used ultrasonic wave signal to occur at a tire during vehicle driving. Auto-correlation function after having passed through an envelope detecting preprocess is used for detecting periodicity because of occurring periodic ultrasonic waves signal with tire revolution. One revolution cycle time of a damaged tire and period that calculated auto-correlation function appeared equally in experiment. The result that can classification whether or not there was a tire damage is established.

  • The tire damage classification method is researched by periodicity detection of ultrasonic envelope signals to occur at the driving vehicle tire. Because periodic signals is generated by rotations of the damaged tire, it should convert to pulse for using the density function. After time intervals of pulses are represented by the density function, the dominant periodicity is detected. The threshold to make a pulse is calculated by moving average of envelope signals. The result of time density function in case of one damage material, the first peak's time is equals to tire's rotation period, 162ms and 102ms, about the speed of 50km/h and 80km/h. In case of more than one damage material, the sum of each peak's time is equals to tire's rotation period about the speed.

  • This paper presents a detecting technique for the improvement in quality by appling the various vibrational characteristics theory. The object of this study is to objectively point out faulty gear by developing the program which can be used to analyze and predict the vibrational characteristics caused by gear wear, deformation and nick of auto-transmission. The fault detection methods by vibrational signal analysis of gear have been progressed in the various fields of industry. These methods have the advantage of being easy to attach the accelerometer without discontinuance of the structure. But not all the methods are efficient for finding early faults. So in the thesis, we completed development of the inspection system of vibration by appling the most efficient detecting methods and verified the system's reliability through experiments.

  • We improve the performance of cardiac disorder classification by adding new temporal features extracted from continuous heart sound signals. We add three kinds of novel temporal features to a conventional feature based on mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC): Heart sound envelope, murmur probabilities, and murmur amplitude variation. In cardiac disorder classification and detection experiments, we evaluate the contribution of the proposed features to classification accuracy and select proper temporal features using the sequential feature selection method. The selected features are shown to improve classification accuracy significantly and consistently for neural network-based pattern classifiers such as multi-layer perceptron (MLP), support vector machine (SVM), and extreme learning machine (ELM).

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간 스펙트럼 추정기에 기반하여 시간-주파수 영역 반사파 계측 시스템에서의 동축케이블 결함을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 시간-주파수 영역 반사파 계측 시스템은 가우시안 포락선(Gaussian Envelop)모양의 첩 신호를 기준신호로 하여 도선에 반사파를 분석하는 기법으로써 타 방법에 비하여 높은 정확도를 자랑하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 결함 위치를 추정하기 위해 Wigner 시간 주파수 분포 함수를 이용하므로 계산량 증가에 따른 실시간 구현이 어렵다는 단점이 있었다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 LMS 스펙트럼 추정기를 이용한 시간-주파수 영역 반사파 계측 시스템의 구현방법을 새롭게 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 실제 동축케이블에 대한 실험결과를 통하여 그 성능을 입증하도록 한다.

시간특성을 고려한 음성신호의 발성율 검출에 관한 연구

  • 발성율은 일정한 시간동안 발성되는 음성신호 내에 몇 개의 음절이 포함되어 있는 지를 나타낸다. 발성율은 화자마다 다르고 각 음소들의 특징에 따라 변화할 수 있다. 발성율의 사전 측정이 이루어 진다면 음성부호화 측면에서도 중용한 정보로 사용될 수 있다. 기존의 음성부호화기는 발성율에 관계없이 고정적인 분석 구간을 정하여 전송률을 결정하고 있다. 따라서, 발성율을 미리 측정한다면, 발성율이 느린 부분과 빠른 부분에 각기 다른 부호화 방법을 적용하여 음질을 향상할 수도 있고 전송률을 가변적으로 적용할 수 도 있게 된다. 정확한 발성율을 측정하기 위해서는 음절의 변화를 추정하여야 한다. 음절의 변화를 추정하기 위한 방법으로 음성신호의 에너지 포락선 측정법과 LSP를 이용한 측정법이 각각 제안된 바 있으나, 본 논문에서는 위 두 가지 방법을 혼합한 방법을 사용하였다. 에너지 변동은 음성신호의 시간영역 처리방법으로 LSP 파라미터는 음성신호의 선형예측 분석에 의해 구해질 수 있다.
