Numerical Study on Flow Characteristics of Synthetic Jet with Rectangular and Circular Slot Exit (사각형 및 원형 출구 Synthetic Jet의 유동 특성에 대한 수치적 연구)

  • The flow characteristics of synthetic jet depending on rectangular and circular jet exit configuration are investigated using numerical computation with cross flow. In rectangular slot, synthetic jet generates the strong vortex but supplies fewer momentum and effectiveness of flow control is reduced along flow direction. In circular slot, regular vortex is formed from slot center to end. It affects the wider region than rectangular slot. The distribution of wall shear stress is considered in order to indicate the effectiveness of flow control device for flow separation delay. Consequently, circular slot is a more suitable candidate for delaying flow separation. In order to derive the optimal shape of a circular slot exit, hole gap and diameter that affect the flow structure and flow control were analyzed. As a result, consider the hole diameter and gap of circular slot exit design, effectiveness of the flow control can be increased.

  • Nowadays, web defacement becomes the utmost threat which can harm the target organization's image and reputation. These defacement activities reflect the hacker's political motivation or his tendency. Therefore, the analysis of the hacker's activities can give the decisive clue to pursue criminals. A specific message or photo or music on the defaced web site and the outcome of analysis will be supplying some decisive clues to track down criminals. The encoding method or used fonts of the remained hacker's messages, and hacker's SNS ID such as Twitter or Facebook ID also can help for tracking hackers information. In this paper, we implemented the web defacement analysis system by applying CBR algorithm. The implemented system extracts the features from the web defacement cases on zone-h.org. This paper will be useful to understand the hacker's purpose and to plan countermeasures as a IDSS(Investigation Detection Support System).

A Study on Flow Characteristics due to Dimension Variations of the Vertical Plate for Controlling the Ship Stern Flow (선미유동 제어용 수직판 제원 변화에 따른 유동특성 연구)

  • To cope with international regulations, such as Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI), Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) and so forth, and to enforce limitations on $CO_2$ emissions, green-ship technology to lower fuel consumption has been actively researched, and the development of an energy-saving device (ESD) is being pursued. In order to design an ESD for small and medium-sized domestic vessels, an analysis on flow characteristics has been performed in the present study. Through a model test and numerical analyses, the characteristics of flow around the stern bilge and bulb have been compared to improve wake quality and resistance performance. As a result of these comparisons and analyses, a vertical plate has been adopted,, as a new ESD. Design criteria for the proposed ESD are also suggested. By applying this new ESD, it is expected that the total resistance and average nominal wake can be reduced by 3.04 % and 18.8 %, respectively.

  • This paper addresses the analysis and the design optimization of differential interconnects for high-speed Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) applications. Thanks to the differential transmission and the low voltage swing, LVDS offers high data rates and improved noise immunity with significantly reduced power consumption in data communications, high-resolution display, and flat panel display. We present an improved model and new equations to reduce impedance mismatch and signal degradation in cascaded interconnects using optimization of interconnect design parameters such as trace width, trace height and trace space in differential printed circuit board (FPCB) transmission lines. We have carried out frequency-domain full-wave electromagnetic simulations, and time-domain transient simulations to evaluate the high-frequency characteristics of the differential FPCB interconnects. We believe that the proposed approach is very helpful to optimize high-speed differential FPCB interconnects for LVDS applications.

  • This study is to analyze whether the use of SNS in politics has any political effects. Most previous studies on political participation by SNS tended to just focus on the participation difference between SNS users and non-users. The test results first show that the development of ICT increases citizens' interest in political information and differentiate the methods of their political participation. Second, we identified SNS users tend to have higher reliability in political information and greater transversion effects by the use of media. Finally, the study verifies SNS is a more effective tool in collective actions such as non-customary rallies and demonstration rather than in customary political participation.

대면적 방전셀을 적용한 AC PDP의 방전 특성 연구

  • 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(PDP)은 가격 경쟁력이 뛰어나고 빠른 반응 속도를 기반으로 한 생생한 화질이 구현 가능한 장점에 힘입어 대형 평판 디스플레이 시장에서 주도적인 위치를 점하여 왔다. 이러한 특징을 갖고 있는 PDP는 최근 성장세를 보이고 있는 PID (Public Information Display) 시장에서도 그 효력을 발휘할 것으로 보인다. 따라서 기존의 HD급이나 Full HD급 미소 방전셀이 아닌 대면적 방전셀을 적용한 PDP 의 방전 특성에 대한 연구가 중요할 것으로 생각된다. 본 논문에서는 ITO 전극 간격 및 전극 폭, 격벽의 폭 및 높이 등 PDP 의 방전 특성에 영향을 미치는 요소들의 수치를 변화시켜 가며 대면적 방전셀을 적용한 PDP의 기본적인 방전 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 대면적 방전셀 PDP에서 고효율을 달성하기 위해 필요한 인자의 설계 방향을 제시해보고자 하였다. 본 논문에서 연구된 PDP는 0.862.58 mm의 셀의 크기를 갖도록 설계하였다. 앞서 제시한 바와 같이 구조 변수의 최적화를 위하여 ITO 전극 간격은 80~1, 전극의 폭은 250~750로 다양하게 주어 상판을 제작하였고 격벽의 폭은 100~200, 높이는 150~300까지 다양한 크기를 가지는 하판을 제작하여 박막 증착, 합착, 가열 배기 등의 과정을 통하여 최종적으로 2인치 크기의 테스트 패널을 제작하여 각 패널별 전압 변화, 휘도, 효율 특성 등이 분석되었다. 실험 결과 격벽 폭 150, 높이는 300일 때 negative glow 방전이 안정적으로 형성될 수 있었음을 확인하였고 최적화된 격벽 수치를 기반으로 다양한 ITO 전극 간격 및 전극 폭을 적용한 패널의 방전 특성을 분석할 수 있었다. 이러한 일련의 실험 결과들을 기반으로 향후 대면적 방전셀의 방전 전압을 낮추고 발광 효율을 개선하는데에 있어서 3전극의 면방전 구조를 가지는 PDP 의 셀을 설계하는데에 있어서 올바른 방향을 마련할 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.

Design and Tolerance Analysis of 3-D Stereoscopic Display Modules with Alternating Illumination Angles (조명각 변조 방식의 3차원 입체영상 표시장치설계 및 공차분석)

  • In order to realize a 3-D stereoscopic display module with alternating illumination angles, several conditions required for a lenticular lens sheet were established, and then both the lens specification and the module structure were designed. Also the performance of the stereoscopic module and its tolerance characteristics were evaluated by simulating the intensity distribution on the observation plane with a finite-ray tracing technique. From the evaluation, it was known that an intersection area between two adjacent lenses should not be filled and that the lateral mismatch between a planar liquid crystal shutter and a lens sheet should be minimized.

도로터널 조명시설의 설계기준

  • In this paper, the results of the measurement and analysis of extremely low frequency(ELF) electric field in the vicinity of 154[kV] overhead transmission lines have been described. The planar-type electric field sensor has been fabricated by three dimensional structure with special consideration of taking the power frequency and lower components. The calibration experiments have been carried out according to the procedures of IEEE recommendation. The electric field measuring system has the frequency bandwidth of 7[Hz] to 2.7[MHz] and the response sensitivity of 0.094[mV/V/m]. Also the practical measurements of electric field under an 154[kV] double circuit overhead transmission lines have been made and analyzed. It was known that the lateral electric field profiles under an 154[kV] double circuit overhead transmission lines show the asymmetrical distributions owing to the environmental metal frame structures and their maximum electric field magnitude is less than 3[kV/m]. It can be concluded that the measured results of the electric fields satisfy with all limits or guidelines of the various authorized international institutes' recommendations.

Effects of Microstructures and Interfaces between $BaTiO_3$ Thin Films and Substrates on Electrical Properties in Aerosol Deposition Method (Aerosol Deposition Method으로 성막한 $BaTiO_3$ 박막과 기판과의 계면 및 미세구조가 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • 최근 이동 통신 분야에서 전자기기들의 고주파화와 소형화에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 고주파 소자로서 필수적으로 사용 되어온 디커플링 캐패시터도 이 두 가지 요구를 만족시키기 위해 기존의 표면 실장형에서 평판 형태인 기판 내장형 캐패시터로 발전해 가고 있다. 이를 실현하기 위한 공정법으로 Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCCs)와 polymer composite등의 연구가 진행되고 있으나 LTCCs는 높은 공정온도에 의한 내부 확산과 서로 다른 열팽창 계수에 의한 소결후의 수축과 같은 단점들을 가지고 있으며 polymer composite 은 비교적 낮은 공정온도에도 불구하고 유전특성과 방열특성이 우수하지 못한 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 이러한 단점들을 극복하기 위해 Aerosol Deposition Method (ADM)를 주목하게 되었다. 이 공정 법은 상온 저 진공 분위기에서 세라믹 분말을 기판에 고속 분사시켜 기공과 균열이 거의 없는 치밀한 나노구조의 세라믹을 제작하는 새로운 코팅기술이다. 본 연구에서는 고주파용 디커플링 캐패시터의 응용을 위하여 상온에서 높은 유전율을 가지며 강유전체 물질인 $BaTiO_3$를 사용하였다. 출발원료로서 0.45 ${\mu}m$크기의 $BaTiO_3$ 분말을 이용하여 상온에서 submicron에서 수 micron의 두께로 성막하였다. 그러나 ADM으로 $BaTiO_3$ 막을 성막할 경우 유전율이 100이하로 급격히 떨어지는 현상이 기존 연구에서 보고되어 왔으며 본 연구에서도 이를 확인하였다. 디커플링 캐패시터의 밀도를 높이기 위해서 유전체의 유전율을 높이거나 두께를 앓게 하는 방법이 있으나 이번 연구에서는 박막화에 초점을 맞추어 진행하였다. 하지만 $BaTiO_3$ 막의 두께를 $1{\mu}m$이하의 박막으로 제조했을 경우 XRD 분석을 통하여 결정상이 얻어졌음을 확인했음에도 불구하고 유전체로서의 특성을 보이지 않았다. 이 원인을 $BaTiO_3$ 박막의 누설전류에 의한 것이라고 판단하고 $BaTiO_3$ 박막과 기판과의 계면 및 미세구조를 확인하였으며 이것이 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다.
