In order to overcome such limits of hotel sales, the role of hotel public section, such as eating and drinking facilities, is very important. Moreover, city hotels increase the value of public section by providing various event for citizens as well as and services for banquet. Since Jeju has urban hotels and resort hotels mixed together, their Plane types and area composition based on the characters of customers using the public section are different from ones of other cities. The purpose of this study is to provide basic material for the qualify improvement of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. We examine the tendency of the systematic Plane composition of the Public sections which take different types of customers, such as Jeju people and tourists, into consideration, analyzing the plane types and the area composition of the luxury resort hotels in Jeju. The study shows that the public part of hotels always had great impact on hotels sales depending on the compositions of plane and area.

This study aimed to examine academic researches about apartment unit plans and consumer's opinions, and then to analyze the corelationship between the two, thus identifying the differences between the reality of housing market and consumers' opinionsl. On the analysis of the apartment unit plans($66m^2{\sim}164m^2$) provided by top 8 construction companies from March 2004 to December 2008. The remarkable change compared to existing apartments is an increase in the number of bays. This displays construction companies are responding to consumer' opinions actively. However, there were spaces which did not or passively reflect consumer's opinions enough. Especially, front side allocation of bedrooms beside master bedroom, kitchen/dining room and L-D-K & LD-K installation of a door between entrance and a living room. These are opinions that companies need to make efforts to reflect on apartment unit plans as much as possible.

The purpose of this study is to review the plan composition characteristics of the super high-rise apartment. 20 cases were selected in Seoul and Kyunggi area that were planned or constructed since 1999, and 10 unit plans were analyzed to review such design characteristics as block type & entry access type, plane figure, opening layout, area distribution and spice composition of unit plan. The result of the study shows that the super high-rise apartment has more variant block types and plane figures compare with the conventional high-rise apartment, and it also has several design characteristics in plane composition such as the increase of the number of the walls with openings, the weakening of the spatial centralization of a living room and the dispersion of rooms with the increase of connection by corridors.

Apartments, having advantages of providing high density in limited area, are now booming in these days in Korea. However, most of the apartments are monotonus and all alike in the siteplan. As a result, they we in lack of humanity for the Apartment residents. The subject of this study is analysis and development of the site planning and design trends in Apartment Complexes in the official sector. In order to suggest the new planning and Design method, the study has analyzed the Apartment complexes exemplary, that have built in recent 10 years in Seoul districts. As a results a environmentally friendly planning and design in Apartment complexes estates as a new paradigm for environmentally sound sustainable development. Apartment Unit Plans have few Flexibility and Variability in the inner space.

This research analyze the demand of the residents against the public housing remodeling of national housing scale $(85m^2)$, focusing on residents and their tendencies within their dwelling spaces. The analysis determines the most appropriate patterns and spatial connections within the floor plan. The result includes that there are two types of the classification into an urban oriented propensity (45%), 'The center of city, the apartment and the convenience' etc, and a rural oriented propensity (55%), 'The pastoral, the house and the circumstance' etc, based on their lifestyle values. Also there are three interior propensity classifications, those tending to warm and sensitive variable space (42%), western and gorgeous dynamic space (34%) and oriental and popular static space (24%). The research illustrated the residents' desired space planning options, based on the analysis of the residents' preference patterns which is various.

The purpose of this study was to investigate planning components of floor plans demanded by consumers and to analyze their demands and wants that can be reflected in developing apartment units. The study was conducted by using small group workshops, so that the participants were able to share the living experiences drawn from apartment living and also to point out the improvements of current 4-bay floor plans available. The research result indicate the follows ; The protection of privacy and communication have relation to the separation of master zone and other rooms. found seven specific categories in relation to planning components of floor plans . Respondents wanted new rooms that could accomodate various function, separated the private spaces from public space in center.

This is on-going project planned from June to August, 2003 for the development of sub-urban housing of 108 buildings on 30,000 pyung lot located in Dochuk-myun, Kwangju-si, Kyunggi-do. The Site is consist of 10 different building sizes ranging from 45pyung to 65pyung on 180 to 220pyung lot. Buyers can customize their types and functions based on given sizes. Most sub-urban housing until now was based on typical planning and had no regard for its characteristics of diverse location. To solve these problems, I designed each types according to its locational characteristics and gave each lot flexible shape to have identities. To take advantage of its undulation, I put playground and sports facilities like swimming pool and tennis court at the approach. Central square to the center and park and observatory to the top

This study is to reveal the periodical form of the 4 staged building sites with the size and the site composition of the master plan and floor plan of the Ungjindan (altar) from the Ungjindan excavation works in 2011. In order to project the research results aiming to the purpose of the study, the basic study was done with collecting data about shrine architecture for its architectural characteristics and case studies with ancestral facilities such as the Ak hae dok (national-level ancestral ritual to the big mountain, ocean and river) to understand the exact form of the site plan and architectural composition elements through the general information and excavation status. In addition, with the current situation and information from the excavation works the planned measurement scale will be calculated in inference for the size of the construction by stages and speculate the floor plan composition of the shrine architecture.

The purpose of this study was first, to confirm of the key hypothetical concepts through the research of previous literature analysis results, and second, to Identify responses of various prospective consumers on key hypothetical concepts and the validity of the plan for improvement before construction was employed through the small group workshop. The participants in workshop were working housewives with 1 or 2 children, residing in an apartment of a net area of 25.7py. The materials used in the process were questionnaire, existing apartment floor plan, developing floor plan for universal apartment, small scale model, endoscopy images, computer simulation images, and recording equipment like audio recorder, video tape recorder, and camera.

The purpose of this study is to analyze space size in the apartment unit plan towards optimal space configuration in order to offer the helpful information to housing designers. For this, we analyzed 432 samples using the Excel 2003 program. The major results of this study are as follows. 1) as the unit size gets bigger, the proportion of the usable area is increased. 2) as the unit size gets bigger, the number of spaces is increased and spaces are divided although they have the same function. 3) living room has the highest proportion in each unit, master room and kitchen are followed. 4) the proportion of living room, kitchen and entrance hall is not fluctuated while that of bedroom and bathroom is decreased. 5) there is a big gap between maximum size and minimum size of kitchen, entrance hall, bathroom and dressing room.
