Comparison of midsagittal reference plane in PA cephalogram and 3D CT (3차원 전산화 단층촬영의 Nasion, Sella, Basion으로 구성된 정중 시상 평면과 정면 두부방사선 규격사진의 정중 시상 평면 비교)

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to find the most helpful midsagittal reference plane for diagnosis in PA cephalometry compared with 3D CT. Methods: The subjects consisted of 25 adults who showed no facial asymmetry by gross inspection. 3D CT and posteroanterior cephalogram of the subjects were taken. To find the most helpful midsagittal reference plane in PA cephalometry, we considered five kinds of midsagittal planes from which the distances to five landmarks were measured and compared the result with that of 3D CT. The midsagittal plane for 3D CT was determined by the landmarks Nasion, Sella and Basion. Results: PA measurements using the midsagittal reference plane on a perpendicular plane lying through the midpoint of the right and left latero-orbitales was closest to those of 3D CT. Conclusions: It was considered that latero-orbitale perpendicular could be used as the helpful midsagittal reference plane to assess facial asymmetry in PA cephalometry.

Comparison of the Apartment Unit Plans in Korea and China - Focus on the Seoul and Beijing centeral Apartment - (한국과 중국 아파트의 평면구성 비교 - 서울과 북경 중심부에 위치한 아파트를 중심으로 -)

  • Though Korea and China have a lot of things in common, these two countries have developed different housing style. However, after modernization, apartments have become major housing style in both Korea and China. So this research analyzed 240 apartment plans which was build in Seoul and Beijing in 2000s and 2010s to predict the future trends for apartments. The results are as follows: The opening direction of the front door will be outwards as the hallway space of small apartments in China become wider as the living standards is increasing. Because of the floor sitting lifestyle, Koreans end outdoor activities when take off their shoes at the entrance hall and continue for indoor activities, they separate entrance hall from livingroom. However, because Chinese have chair sitting lifestyle, entrance hall and livingroom is not divided. Korean apartment shows a trend which connects livingroom, diningroom and kitchen altogether; however, Chinese apartment shows a trend which separates kitchen from livingroom and diningroom. Bedrooms are showing a trend of distributed layout. Master bedroom are showing a trend which includes separate bathroom or attached room as the size of apartment increases and so on.

Multi-thresholds Selection Based on Plane Curves (평면 곡선에 기반한 다중 임계값 결정)

  • The plane curve approach which was proposed by Boukharouba et. al. is a multi-threshold selection method through searching peak-valley based on histogram cumulative distribution function. However the method is required to select parameters to compose plane curve, and the shape of plane curve is affected according to parameters. Therefore detection of peak-valley is effected by parameters. In this paper, we propose an entropy maximizing-based method to select optimal plane curve parameters, and propose a multi-thresholding method based on the selected parameters. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by multi-thresholding experiments on various images and comparison with other conventional thresholding methods based on histogram.

  • 이 논문에서는 패널, 깊은 보 그리고 전단벽과 같이 평면응력상태하에 있는 철근콘크리트 구조물의 비선형 유한요소해석에 있어서의 직교이방성 콘크리트 구성 모델의 적용성을 보여준다. 등가의 일축 변형을 개념을 토대로 콘크리트의 구성 관계가 주변형률 축과 일치하고 하중이력에 따라 회전하는 직교하는 축에 대해 제시된다. 제안된 모델은 이축 압축응력상태와 인장-압축 응력상태에서 각각 압축강도의 증가와 인장 저항력의 감소효과를 보여주는 이축 파괴영역의 정의를 포함한다. 인장균열이 발생한 후, 콘크리트의 압축강도의 감소효과가 제시되고, 인장강화효과로 알려진 철근에 의해 지지되는 콘크리트의 인장응력이 고려된다. 평균응력과 평균변형률 개념을 사용하여 힘의 평형, 적합조건 그리고 철근과 철근을 둘러싼 콘크리트 사이의 부착응력-슬림 관계를 토대로 인장강화효과를 모사하기 위한 모델이 제안된다. 유한요소 모델에 의한 예측은 유용한 실험자료와의 비교에 의해 입증된다. 이 논문에서는 해석결과와 이상화한 전단 패널실험으로부터 얻어진 실험값의 비교연구가 수행되고, 제안된 모델의 타당성을 보여주기 위해 서로 다른 응력상태하의 전단 패널 보와 벽체의 힘-변위 관계를 평가하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 Liu의 수식화를 바탕으로 가공 경화성을 고려하여 수식화를 재 구성하고, 유한요소 프로그램을 개발하여 평면 변형 인발문제를 극한 해석함으로써, 성형에 필요한 한계 하중 및 최적 속도장을 직접적으로 구하였다.수렴되어진 최적 속도장으로 각 요송에서의 변형률 속도, 변형률 및 격자 변형등을 수치적으로 계산함 으로써 가공에 따른 변형 특성도 파악하였다. 한계 하중은 항공기 구조용 소재인 알 루미늄 6061 재료를 이용하여 판재 인발 실험을 행함으로써 얻은 결과치와 비교 검토 하였으며, 유동 특성을 관찰하기 위하여 격자 왜곡(grid distortion) 실험을 하여 얻 은 변형 패턴과 수치 계산에서 구한 격자변형 패턴을 상호 비교하였다.

Comparative Case Analysis for Development Characteristics of Foreign and Domestic Share-Houses (국내·외 쉐어하우스 사례 비교를 통한 개발특성 분석)

  • The portion of single-household in Korea is more than 20% of the total household, and expected to be increase every year and reach 24% in 2030. For the accommodation of single-households, a small housing system called the share-house has appeared and developed in Japan and Europe. In this study, a comparative case analysis was performed to determine the development criteria for foreign and domestic cases. The analysis was conducted in view of the building type and scale, plan layout, add-on facilities and features, and operational methods and target tenants. In the cases of Korea, the share-house is mainly developed through the remodeling of a single detached house with the characteristics of small scale and living room centered plan targeting specific individuals with clear operating themes. For foreign cases, it was developed through the remodeling of various buildings, such as hotels or motels, having the characteristics of medium or large scale and corridor type plan targeting for various individuals with a range of operational methods reflecting regional features.

  • After the introduction of the 7th education program, educational facilities have been requested to change to face new curriculums and have been planned. The purpose of this study is to fill up a gap between the study of education facilities, building planning and real educational spot and also find difference of plan composition by analyzing latest middle school floor plans. In this regard, floor plans of 8 middle schools proposed in LH design competition is compared and analyzed in this study. To sum up this analysis, the guide lines suggested from Korean educational development institute(KEDI) has not been followed in many building planning. For subject classrooms, guide lines from KEDI were ignored and support facilities did not planned as necessary space calculated through scale estimation program. To select a planned proposal in the future, demand of scale estimation, various studies, real educational spot and etc. should be reflected.

Effect of Open Floor Plan Design Property on Apartment Price (단위세대의 개방형 평면구성이 아파트가격에 미치는 영향)

  • The openness of residential space directly affecting lighting, view, and ventilation leads to the variation of open floor plan type in apartment construction project. This study intends to substantiate the effect to the apartment price by design property of open floor plan based on actual design information of apartment and price. The open floor plan type and associated design property, and actual transaction price of apartment have been considered as variables for analysis by the hedonic price function model and artificial neural networks model. Research findings indicate that the openness affects the price of apartment positively and the three sides open plan is the most preferred with the highest price. This study aims to provide the implication to the developer in planning and design stage of apartment and the purchaser seeking the suitable price by floor plan design.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the characteristics of floor plan of Underwood hall, Appenzeller hall, and Stimson hall in Yonsei University. These buildings in Yonsei University are the representative higher educational institution buildings that were constructed by Western missionaries during the Japanese colonial period. These buildings were designed by the master plan that had been made before the construction. Therefore, these buildings have many similarities but each building has individual characteristics. This study focused on two parts. One is the characteristics of the shared space, such as like corridor, hall, and stairs. These characteristics show the differences between each building because they used different methods and locations of shared space and rooms for the floor plan to include the different functions. The second is the relationships with the floor plan and other plans like the master plan, elevation plan, and structural plan. These relationships show that each building has unique characteristics that are related to the floor plan.

The Reconstruction of Amplitude and Phase Images of SLAM by using Quadrature Detector (쿼드러쳐 검출기를 이용한 SLAM의 진폭과 위상 영상 복원)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 SLAM에서는 불가능한 진폭과 위상 정보를 동시에 검출할 수 있는 쿼드러춰 검출기를 설계 제작하여 SLAM을 구성하고 진폭과 위상영상을 복원하여 기존의 SALM 영상과 비교분석하였다. 실험을 위하여 동작주파수가 10MHz인 쿼드러춰 검출기를 제작하여 SLAM시스템을 구성하고 시편으로는 다른 패턴을 갖는 두 개의 층으로 이루어진 평면구조물을 알루미늄으로 가공하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 다층구조물에 대한 진폭과 위상 영상을 복원할 수 있었고 기존의 SLAM 영상과 비교하여 양호한 분해능과 콘트라스트를 나타냈으며 특히 기존의 방법으로는 얻을 수 없었던 위상영상을 얻을 수 있었다.
