Trend Test of the Mean and Extreme Sea Level Data in the Korean Coast (우리나라 연안의 평균해면 및 최극조위 자료의 추세 검정)

  • 우리나라 연안의 평균해면이 증가하고 있다는 주장과 고극조위, 저극조위가 증가(또는 변동)하고 있다는 주장이 제기되고 있으나, 연구자가 사용한 자료의 기간 및 분석 방법 등에 차이가 있고, 결측자료(missing data) 및 이상자료(outlier) 등을 처리한 방법이 서로 차이가 있기 때문에 전체적으로 또는 부분적으로 분석결과가 차이를 보일 수 있다. 또한 추세분석에서는 통계적인 신뢰수준에 대한 검정과정 없이 단순하게 선형회귀곡선식을 이용하여 기울기의 부호만으로 증가 감소를 판단하는 경우도 있다. 그러나 추세분석은 최적의 추세곡선을 찾아내는 것 이전에 추세의 유무를 통계적인 신뢰수준을 기준으로 검정하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 추세분석의 필수과정인 추세검정(추세가 있는가? 없는가?)을 Mann-Kendall 방법을 이용하여 우리나라 전 연안 조위관측소의 평균해수면 및 고극조위, 저극조위 자료에 대하여 수행하였다. 추세검정 결과를 다음과 같이 도출할 수 있었다. 평균해수면은 95% 유의수준으로 분석에 포함된 전체 30개 검조소 중 대산, 보령, 군산, 목포, 통영, 거문도, 부산, 가덕도, 제주, 서귀포, 속초, 포항, 울산, 울릉도 지점 등 19개 지점이 추세가 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 고극조위, 저극조위는 각각 15개, 17개 지점이 추세가 있는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • 부자의 보정계수를 결정하는 방법은 크게 다음과 같이 현행 방법과 WMO 제안 방법으로 구분할 수 있다. 현재 국내에서 적용하고 있는 방법으로 표면부자부터 4.0m부자까지 사용된 부자의 종류에 따라 사전에 정해진 보정계수를 적용한다. WMO에서 제안하고 있는 방법은 해당 하천의 수심과 사용된 부자 흘수(吃水)의 상대적 비로부터 산정되는 보정계수를 적용하는 방법이다. 본 연구는 국내 유량측정기술의 개선을 위한 선행연구로, '07~'08년의 국토해양부 부자 측정성과(86개 지점 788개 유량측정성과)를 현행 방법 및 WMO 제안 방법을 적용하여 산정된 유량을 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, WMO 방법을 이용하여 산정된 유량은 각 측정성과별로 현행 방법을 적용하여 산정한 유량 대비 -7.69~+7.20%의 차이를 보였으며, 평균 1.57% 작게 산정되었다. 각 수계별로 한강은 -5.90~+2.55% 범위에서 평균 -2.11%, 낙동강은 -7.69~+7.20% 범위에서 평균 -2.45%, 금강은 -7.39~+7.03% 범위에서 평균 -0.52%, 영산강은 -6.50~+2.58% 범위에서 평균 -1.59% 로 산정되었다. 또한 각 성과에 대해 각 지점의 주요 인자들과의 상관성을 검토한 결과, 산정된 유량의 차이는 지점의 수심에 매우 큰 상관성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 저수심에서는 WMO 방법이 상대적으로 크게 산정되었으며, 고수심에서는 현행 방법을 적용하여 산정한 유량이 상대적으로 크게 나타났다. 특히 약 8m 이상의 수심에서는 보다 큰 차이가 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Characteristic Analysis on Drivers' Glance Durations with Different Running Speeds on the Expressway (고속국도에서의 주행속도 차이에 따른 운전자 평균 주시시간 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Drivers can receive diverse types of traffic information through a number of methods. However, there are not enough information services considering human factors. In this study, as a basic research on human factors of the drivers, characteristic analysis on drivers' mean glance (fixation) durations with different running speeds on the expressway was performed under diverse running environments. To control variables other than running speeds, running environments were categorized into 4 types: 'daytime running without preceding vehicles', 'daytime running with preceding vehicles', 'nighttime running without preceding vehicles', and 'nighttime running with preceding vehicles'. Furthermore, ANOVA Test was used to divide speed groups. As a result of performing a multiple comparison to compare differences in glance behavior per each group, the road item and the preceding vehicles item showed an increase in mean glance durations as the speed increased, while the front view showed a decrease in mean glance durations. It was confirmed that the road sign showed no statistically significant difference in glance durations as the speed varied.

Effects of Stretching Exercise on Quality of Life, Depression, Total Cholesterol in the Elderly (스트레칭운동이 노인의 삶의 질, 우울, 총콜레스테롤에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of stretching exercise on quality of life, depression, total cholesterol in the elderly. The one group pre-post test quasi-experimental design was used. 22 subjects were selected from elderly in G-city. The experimental group. The data were collected from April, 2002 to June, 19, 2002, and analyzed by frequency, t-test using SPSS/PC program. The results of this study were summarized as follows ; 1) The quality of life didn't show significant improvement by stretching exercise(t=-1.734, p=0.097). 2) The depression didn't show significant improvement by stretching exercise(t=-0.200, p=0.843). 3) The total cholesterol didn't show significant improvement by stretching exercise(t=-1.050, p=0.083).

An Investigation into Perception of Educational Consumers on the Vocational High School Credit System (직업계 고등학교 고교학점제에 대한 교육 수요자 인식 조사)

  • This study aimed to investigate the perception of education consumers about the vocational high school credit system. The researcher analyzed the survey data collected from students, parents, and teachers of vocational high schools located in the A metropolitan city, and a total of 981 responses were analyzed: 541 students, 261 parents, and 179 teachers. One-way ANOVA and χ2 test were performed using IBM SPSS 21. The results are as follows. First, in all responses of perception of the vocational high school credit system, the mean difference between groups was statistically significant, and differences between teachers-students, and teachers-parents were found. Second, the mean difference between groups in the need for early graduation in curriculum implementation was statistically significant, and the mean of students was higher than that of parents and teachers. Third, the mean difference between groups in teachers' use of multiple teaching methods under class management and evaluation was statistically significant, and the means of parents and teachers were higher than that of students.

Analysis of Air Temperature Factors Related to Difference of Fruit Characteristics According to Cultivating Areas of Persimmon (Diospyros kaki Thunb.) (감 재배지 간 과실 품질 차이에 관계한 기온요인 분석)

  • To investigate main air temperature factors correlated to difference of fruit characteristics according to cultivating areas, fruit and air temperature characteristics of eight cultivating areas of 'Fuyu' persimmon were analyzed by principle components and multiple regression analysis. The first principal components extracted from 16 air temperature factors was annual mean temperature, mean temperature during October, annual mean minimum extreme temperature, mean temperature during growing period, and so forth. The second principal components was mean temperature during May and June and so forth. And cumulative contribution was 91.4%. The five of eight cultivating area had clearly the difference of main factors or the correlated direction among cultivating areas. In multiple regression analysis between the extracted main factors and fruit characteristics, fruit hight were highly correlated with mean temperature during growing period ($X_8$) and cumulative temperature ($X_6$), and the regression equation was $Y=150.55-5.375X_8+ 0.014X_6(r^2=0.843)$. Also this regression equation was affected by mean minimum temperature during growing period, cumulative temperature, and mean temperature during August. Fruit diameter was negatively correlated with mean temperature during growing period, flesh browning rate and Hunter a value of peel color were positively correlated with mean minimum temperature during growing period and annual minimum air temperature, respectively.

Personal Financial Management Ability of College Students -A survey of D college- (대학생의 개인재무관리역량 -대구 D대학교를 중심으로-)

  • First, the average scores of personal financial management ability in the college students' financial management attitude were 72.24 for male and 71.65 for female, so that male students showed a little higher score than female. College students who had an experience of opening a bank account and who kept a record of spending revealed higher scores. Those whose parents were elementary or middle school graduates unfolded the highest score, 73.67, and the lowest score, 63.35, from those whose parents had M.A. or Ph.D. The average scores of personal financial management ability in the college students' financial management knowledge indicated almost no difference with 63.26 for male and 63.35 for female. Only whether they had an experience of opening a bank account, keeping a record of spending, or a credit card revealed score differences. Depending on the students' majors, there were also score differences. Students from engineering department came up with the highest score, an average of 66.88, and students from art & physical education department with the lowest score, 53.39, in the financial management knowledge. The personal financial management ability in the college students' financial management function showed that the score of male students was a little higher than that of female, 64.26 versus 63.58. Students who kept a record of spending and whose parents' income was between three million won and four million won marked the highest score, an average of 65.26, and students whose parents' income was below two million won marked the lowest score, an average of 60.43, in the college students' financial management function. There were score differences in the college students' financial management function depending on the students' majors. Students from engineering department came up with the highest score, an average of 69.67, and students from public health department with the lowest score, 63.21.

세수추계모형의 예측력 비교

  • 본 연구는 세입증가율 예측을 위해 사용되는 각종 세수추계모형의 예측능력을 상호비교하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 고려하는 세수추계 방식은 네 가지이다. 첫째는 단순 ECM 모형으로서 오차수정모형(error correction model)을 각각의 세목에 적용하여 세수를 예측하는 것이다. 둘째는 SUR-ECM 모형으로서 단순 ECM 모형의 개별 회귀방정식을 통합하여 SUR(Seemingly Unrelated Regression) 방식으로 추정한 후 이를 이용하여 세수를 예측하는 것이다. 셋째와 넷째는 흔히 사용되는 탄성치 방식으로서, 과거의 연도별 탄성치를 5년간 또는 10년간 평균하여 이를 바탕으로 향후의 세수를 예측하는 것이다. 이러한 모형비교를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 단순 ECM 모형과 5년 평균 탄성치 모형은 예측력에 있어 큰 차이가 없다. 둘째, SUR-ECM 모형과 10년 평균 탄성치 모형은 예측력에 있어 큰 차이가 없다. 셋째, 단순 ECM 모형보다는 SUR-ECM 모형의 예측력이 높으며, 5년 평균 탄성치 모형보다는 10년 평균 탄성치 모형의 예측력이 높다. 넷째, 어느 경우에든 예측 오차가 상당히 크고 이러한 오차는 예측시계가 넓어질수록 커진다. 예를 들어, 5년 후의 세수에 대한 예측치는 평균적으로 오차의 절대값이 10% 수준에 이른다. 탄성치 모형이 단순 ECM 모형이나 SUR-ECM 모형에 비해 그리 나쁜 예측결과를 낳지 않는다는 것은 새로운 사실이다. 또한 5년 평균 탄성치보다 10년 평균 탄성치를 사용하는 것이 더 나은 예측치를 낳는다는 것은 세수예측에 있어 최근의 자료만을 사용하는 것보다는 과거 꽤 오랜 기간의 자료를 사용하는 것이 바람직하다는 점을 시사한다.

  • Speech reception threshold is a base for word discrimination testing, but it also serves as a check for the reliability of pure tone audiogram. In order to investigate the correlation between SRT and PTA these tests were carried out in patients with conductive hearing loss and normal hearing, using Grason-Stadler 1702 Audiometer. The results were as follows; 1) The difference between the scores of SRT and PTA's was 2.4 dB with a range of -3.3 dB∼+8.3 dB in conductive hearing loss, and was 1.9 dB with a range of -6.7 dB∼+5 dB in normal hearing group. 2) The difference between the scores of SRT and each speech frequency of PTA was 6 dB at 500 Hz, 3 dB at 1,000 Hz and 8.8 dB at 2,000 Hz in conductive hearing loss, and 3 dB at 500Hz, 2 dB at 1,000Hz, and 5dB at 2,000Hz in normal hearing group.

원거리 지진자료로부터 유추된 한반도의 P파 도달시간 이상에 대한 연구

  • P wave travel-time delays have been analyzed and average travel-time anomalies due to lateral variation of the crustal structure have been calculated at the broad-band earthquake observatories of Korea Meteorology Administration (KMA) using the teleseismic deata collected during the period from 2000 to 2001. Maximum variation in the relative travel-time residuals is almost 1.5 seconds Azimuthal variation in the travel-time residuals is observed to indicate the existence of lateral P velocity heterogeneity beneath the stations with velocity contrasts of -4~4%. The estimated average travel-time delays are ranging from 0.05 to 0.3 seconds at the stations including Seoul, Chuncheon, Kanneung, Uljin, and Ulleung Island showing slow velocity contrasts of 0~4% P through the crust. Faster velocity contrasts of 0~4% have been observed at the stations including Seosan, Taejeon, Daegu, Seoguipo, and Busan showing average travel-time delays ranging from -0.05 to -0.3 seconds.
