Variation of Flow around Inclined Crest Groyne with Flow Depth (수심변화에 따른 경사수제 주변 흐름특성의 변화)

  • 본 연구에서는 수위변화에 따라 흐름특성이 달라지는 경사수제의 적절한 설계를 위해 수리실험을 통해 경사수제 주변의 흐름 특성을 파악하였다. 수리실험은 $2m(B){\times}40m(L){\times}1m(H)$의 직선 수로에서 수행되었으며, 수제 주변 흐름장은 LSPIV 기법을 이용하여 측정하였다. 수심변화에 따른 수제주변 특성은 수심과 수제높이의 비 $d/h_g$$0.60{\sim}0.97$ 범위로 설정하여 $d/h_g$ 변화에 따른 재순환영역의 변화 특성과 본류역의 유속분포 변화를 파악하였다. 실험결과 재순환영역의 폭과 길이는 수심이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 제방보호 길이 설정을 위한 재순환영역의 길이는 $d/h_g=0.6{\sim}0.97$에 대해 수제의 길이의 $2{\sim}4$ 배가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수제부근의 유속분포를 측정한 결과, 제방부근 수제역의 역류속은 평균유속의 최대 0.3 배인 것으로 나타났으며, $d/h_g=1$에 가까울수록 역류발생은 미미한 것으로 나타났다.

  • A repeated impregnation and carbonization process was introduced to product high-density woodceramics using a resin impregnation board. The density profile were measured to further confirm morphologically and structurally occurred changes of one-time and two-time phenolic resin-treated and carbonized woodceramics. After the two-time carbonization of the products, the minimum, average and maximum densities increased more than those of the one-time carbonized woodceramics, and the increase of density profile. Therefore, it is considered that the preparation of uniformed woodceramics with high-density and low density dissipation can be produced by a repeated impregnation and carbonization).

Design of Cylindrical Magnetic Gradient field for NMR-CT (NMR-CT에서 원통좌표계를 구현하는 경사자계의 고안)

  • We have designed a magnetic field gradient useful for cylindrical imaging in NMR-CT. The direc¬tion of the designed field is parallel to the axis and the gradient in the radial direction of cylindrical coordinate is monotonically increasing. The ratio of the gradient in the radial and axial direction is greater than 10 near the center of coordinate. This ratio depends on solenoid length, the number of reverse current turns at center, and the amount of the reverse current. We built a gradient coil based on the numerical simulation and tested the field generated by NMR-CT. The resulting image matches with the theoretical expectation within 10% error. Since the data acquisition time of 1-D imaging is significantly shorter than 2-D imaging, it becomes possible to image much more dynamic objects by the use of this gradient field.

The Study of Distance and Near AC/A Ratio by Stimulus (조절자극 방식에 따른 원거리와 근거리 AC/A비에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate that near gradient AC/A ratio could be used to prescribe a patient with distance exophoria, we compared the difference between distance gradient AC/A ratio and near gradient AC/A ratio. Also, this thesis was to understand the relationship between calculated AC/A ratio and gradient AC/A ratio. Methods: Objective and subjective refractive error were corrected and we used Howell (3 m) chart for distance phoria tests and Howell-Kim (40 cm) chart for near phoria tests. The near gradient AC/A ratio and calculated AC/A ratio were used by Howell-Kim (40 cm) combined with +1.00 D, -1.00 D, +2.00 D and -2.00 D. Results: The average value of distance exophoria was 1.17${\pm}$1.17 $\Delta$, and the average value of near exophoria was 3.71${\pm}$2.80 $\Delta$ (t-test. p<0.001). The correlation of distance phoria with near phoria was little higher (r = 0.59, p < 0.001). Gradient AC/A ratios depending on measuring distance and stimulus were higher (r = 0.11~0.53. P < 0.001), when distance was shorter and stimulus to accommodation was more. Also, stimulus to accommodation by plus lens was higher than stimulus to accommodation by minus lens (paired t-test. p < 0.001). There was negative correlation between calculated AC/A ratio and gradient AC/A ratio. As the calculated AC/A ratio was higher, gradient AC/A ratio was lesser. Near gradient AC/A ratio was slightly higher than distance gradient AC/A ratio. Distance and near gradient AC/A ratio taken through the subjective -1.00 D were 1.30 $\Delta$/D and 1.68 $\Delta$/D(t-test. t=1.67, p < 0.001). Conclusions: There is negative correlation between calculated AC/A ratio and gradient AC/A ratio. Also, there is subtle difference between near gradient AC/A ratio and distance gradient AC/A ratio. Therefore, we need to measure distance gradient AC/A ratio when a practitioner prescribe glasses for a patient with distance exophoria.

사천진항 해저지형변동에 관한 연구

  • 사천진항은 동해안에 위치한 제1종 어항으로 강원도 강릉시에 소재하고 있는 항구로서 남북쪽에 비교적 긴 모래 해안이 발달해 있으며 항 남단으로 사천천 하구와 연결되고 있다. 항북쪽으로는 연곡천, 남쪽 아래쪽에서는 남대천이 흐르고 있으며 해안은 1/40-l/60의 대체로 완만한 경사를 이루고 있다. 사천진항은 태풍의 내습이 없는 항으로 탁월풍은 SW, 평균풍속은 2.7㎧로서 년 강우량이 1383mm이며 조석관계는 평균조차가 13cm, 대조차가 약 17cm, 소조차가 약 9cm로서 작은 조차를 보이고 있다. (중략)

Productivity and Fruit Quality according to Training Methods and Harvesting Bate on Paprika during Summer Culture in Highland (고랭지 착색단고추의 여름재배시 유인방법에 따른 생산성과 품질)

  • This experiment was conducted to analysis the fruit quality according to training method under low plastic film greenhouse cultivation on sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum cv Special) during summer culture. Training treatments were upright training and inclination training, the fruits were examined and analysed with a month interval from June to November on productivity, fiuit weight, flesh thickness, contents of soluble solids, hardness, shape, and locules. Productivity per month was the highest on June, upright training harvested more than inclination training. Fruit weight of inclination training on June was 232 g which was higher than 26 g of upright training, but upright training was heavier than inclination training after July. Flesh thickness of upright training was thicker than inclination training. Soluble solids content increased with the decrease of temperature, upright training was higher than inclination training. The fruit shape of upright training was not significant according to harvesting date. The number of locules of upright training was $3.27\sim3.34$, and it was not significant according to harvesting date.

Analysis on Channel Morphology and Rock Resistance by Difference of Bedrock Types between Upper and Lower Reach (상.하류의 기반암 차이에 따른 하천의 형태와 암석의 저항력 분석)

  • The streams evolve to diverse forms influenced by various factors such as rock resistance tectonic process, sediments and discharge. This study focuses on erosion resistance of rocks among these factors. The morphology of plane and longitudinal profile has been analysed in upper and lower reach of 6 streams using GIS; Yeoryong-cheon, Heungjeong-cheon, Duhak-cheon, Daehwa-cheon, Namcheon-cheon, Guryong-cheon, having distinct bedrock types between upper and lower reach. While the basins of granite have gentle slope, low concavity and wide valley area, those of gneiss form steep slope, high concavity and narrow valley area. However, the basins of sedimentary rock make steep slope and high relief in main channel, the other features show some differences in each stream. Among the various morphological features, the indices on slope and concavity of main channel, drainage density, ratio of valley area, average slope and average relief of the basin which have clear differences between rocks in upper and lower reach are calculated to interpret the erosion resistance of rocks in upper and lower reach. As a result, the upper reaches composed of gneiss have the highest erosion resistance, sedimentary rocks in upper and lower reaches show moderate resistance, and granite reaches generally have the lowest resistance except the upper reaches bordered by sedimentary rock.

  • 본 연구에서는 금강유역을 대상으로 GIS기법에 의해 1:5,000 NGIS자료로부터 DEM과 하천망을 생성하였고, 이를 이용하여 하천차수별 하천수, 하천연장과 평균하천연장의 하천특성인자와 유역면적, 유역평균폭, 최원유로연장, 하천총수, 총하천연장, 수계밀도, 수계빈도, 형상인자, 평균표고, 평균경사, 최대하천차수, 유역내 최고표고, 기복비 등의 유역특성인자들을 추출함으로써 수자원단위지도 기반의 단위유역별 지형학적 특성을 파악하였다. 또한 대상유역을 금강권역상류, 금강권역중류, 금강권역하류유역으로 구분하여 지형학적 인자를 추출하고 그 특성을 분석하였으며, 선형 및 비선형 회귀곡선을 이용하여 인자들 간의 상관관계를 분석함으로써 각 유역을 특징짓는 주요 인자들을 추출하였다.

A Study on Selected Transverse Bed Slope Models in Channel Bend (유로만곡부의 횡방향 하상경사 산정 모형에 관한 연구)

  • Transverse bed slope in bend is a subject of scientific investigation since it provides the necessary information for channel design and protection of hydraulic structures (bank, bridge, etc), and study of river morphology. In this paper, selected models were examined and compared for the value of prediction of the transverse bed slope in curved alluvial channels(project area), by using field data, and fitting model was proposed. All models that related the local transverse bed slope to mean flow characteristics were alike in the sense that they predicted the local transverse bed slope to be proportional to the ratio between depth and radius of curvature. The difference among the models was related with the factor of proportionality, K. Also, measured transverse bed slope was correlated to mean velocity, maximum depth, and density Froude number in channel bend. In this paper selected models were compared for the prediction of the transverse bed slope using Odgaard's experiment (obtained in Sacramento River bend), so Odgaard89 model was closely related with real transverse bed slope.

  • Wave runup is one of the most important factors affecting the design of coastal structure exposed to wave attack. In this study, two dimensional laboratory tests were conducted under the different random wave conditions and structure configurations to develop a formula to predict runup heights. Rubble-mound structure consisted of tetrapod armour blocks with 1:1.5 and 1:2 slopes. The relative water depths (the ratio of the significant wave height to water depth at the toe) ranged from 0.14 to 0.56. The formula proposed here is applicable to surf similarity parameter ranging from 2 to 6. Runup heights on 1:2 slope were higher than those on 1:1.5 slope. Runup heights were reduced by 5% when the armour layer thickness increased two times.
