Similarity computation is very crucial to performance of memory-based collaborative filtering systems. These systems make use of user ratings to recommend products to customers in online commercial sites. For better recommendation, most similar users to the active user need to be selected for their references. There have been numerous similarity measures developed in literature, most of which suffer from data sparsity or cold start problems. This paper intends to extract preference information as much as possible from user ratings to compute more reliable similarity even in a sparse data condition, as compared to previous similarity measures. We propose a new similarity measure which relies not only on user ratings but also on movie genre information provided by the dataset. Performance experiments of the proposed measure and previous relevant measures are conducted to investigate their performance. As a result, it is found that the proposed measure yields better or comparable achievements in terms of major performance metrics.

The purpose of this study is finding alternative parameters of the HRV so as to minimize the subjective errors by STAI and BDI, could be have two types of significant correlation levels depending on normalized method. Particularly, the LF/HF presented as the quantitative physiological parameter that can reflect both state-anxiety and trait-anxiety.

While social desirability has been neglected in the field of social work research in Korea, social work articles published in foreign journals have tried to identify respondents with a high level of social desirability and to control the effect of social desirability. The Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) is the first social desirability scale developed by a Korean research is composed of two factors, self deception and impression management. This study was conducted to improve its practicability by evaluating its psychometric properties with social work practitioners and students. The findings of this study are satisfactory. The factor structure of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) was confirmed and its reliability and validity were satisfactory. The advantage of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) is that it includes items related to Korean culture. The ways of using Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24) in social work research are provided.

Objective : This study aimed to establish an analytic methodology that can objectively evaluate the proverb comprehension levels that vary based on the aging process. Method : This study recruited 70 normal elderly aged ≥ 65 years and performed proverb comprehension tasks using an explanation method. A scoring estimation method was designed on 3 and 5-point scales. The difficulty and discrimination levels were calculated based on the two scales, thereby selecting the final questions and evaluation scale. Results : First, the item discrimination index on the 5-point scale was relatively higher than that on the 3-point scale, and 10 items were finally selected. Second, in terms of proverb comprehension ability, the elderly group aged 70 ~ 84 years showed significantly lower performance than those aged 65 ~ 69 years. Additionally, subjects with ≥ 10 years of education showed significantly higher performance than those with 9 ≤ years of education. Third, the performance of the proverbs comprehension task negatively correlated with the reaction time of the executive function task. Conclusion : Proverb comprehension is a task that can distinctively show a deterioration of brain functions in line with the aging process even among the normal elderly group and therefore, can estimate the difference more effectively with an increase in the score of the evaluation scale.

This study is aimed for a scale of assessing the work performance, educational operations, and so on of preschool teachers by the peers. It has been previously discussed the studies of scale assesment of preschool teachers, however, the scale assesment had been a self-assesment or a transitory assesment by the senior teachers and principals only. This study is developed to assess the preschool teachers through the peer- teachers. Peer-assesment has strong points that to assess the teachers constantly can be more accurate, the assessment result can be used as the basic material for peer scholarship, and it can give the preschool teachers an opportunity to be recognised on tasks. There are 51 questions are developed to assess the peers. 9 sections total; 1) 6 questions on body human nature 2) 6 questions on view on career 3) 3 questions on self-development 4) 4 questions on curriculum planing 5) 12 questions on administering and managing 6) 6 questions on understanding children 7) 4 questions on managing a class 8) 7 questions on work performance 9) 3 questions on teaching practice. Each section is surveyed by 150 preschool teachers, and the all questions are analysed statistically appropriate of a scale(validity of contents, validity of surveyors, inter-item consistency) and appropriate of each section. It is known this peer assesment of preschool teachers is an appropriate scale.

특정 사람에 대해 느끼는 이미지 또는 특정 사람이 가지는 이미지를 어떻게 평가하고 나타낼 수 있을까\ulcorner 본 연구에서는 사람에 대해 가지는 이미지를 표준적인 감성 어휘 척도를 활용하여 모델이 가지는 감성이미지가 무엇인지를 비교평가 할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 연구 대상으로는 국내 화장품 회사의 모델을 활용하였다. 4명의 모델을 전체와 부분 모습의 두 가지 형태로 제시하면서 각 인물이 가진 이미지를 평가하게 하였다. Personal 감성이미지를 평가하기 위해서 사람의 특성이나 이미지를 묘사하는 형용사 쌍 103개를 이용하였다. 모델 이미지에 대한 평가 반응은 요인분석을 통해 7개의 감성어휘 요인으로 나타났다. 우아한-천박한, 신선감-답답함, 편안함-불편함, 순수함-가식적인, 세련미-촌스러운, 진취성-보수성, 여성성-남성성, 4명의 모델들은 이 7가지 감성 이미지 요인에 따라 상호 차별적으로 나타났다. 인물 감성이미지는 감성적 어휘로 표현됨과 동시에 각 인물이 가진 고유하고 대표적인 personal image로 나타낼 수 있는가를 보여줄 수 있엇다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 감성이미지척도는 사람의 이미지를 평가하는 대표적인 감성척도로 이용될 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 특정 제품을 나타내는 모델이 일반인들에 어떤 이미지를 전달하는지 그리고 모델의 이미지와 제품이 지향하는 이미지와 얼마나 일치하는지를 평가할 수 있었다.

배경 : 음성평가시 그 음질을 파악하기 위한 검사 중 주관적 검사로서 많이 쓰이는 것은 GRBAS 척도에 의한 청인지적 4단계 평정이고, 객관적 검사로서 널리 쓰이고 있는 검사 도구는 CSL 중 MDVP이다. 이중 GRBAS 검사는 평가자의 고도의 숙련도를 요구하며, MDVP에 의한 음성평가는, 나타난 결과에 대한 정확한 해석을 요구한다. 목적 : 이에, 1차적으로 음성과용 환자를 대상으로 하여, GRBAS 척도에 의한 청인지적 음성평가 결과와 CSL 중 MDVP에 의한 객관적 음성평가 결과에 대한 상관성을 비교, 분석해 보고, 이를 통하여 청인지적 음성평가에 숙련되지 못한 평가자가 객관적 검사도구를 통하여 음성평가를 하고자 할 때 주목해야 할 변인들에 관하여 알아보고자 한다. This study is intended to understand defense technologies that require the convergence of various technologies and the integration of systems, and to propose valuation methods that reflect the characteristics of each field. The measure of technology level, integration (system integration technology) between technologies, preparation of manufacturing, and maturity scale of the weapons system to be valued are measured according to the items of measurement factors to verify system performance, and to present a framework for estimating the quantitative values of core technologies using system maturity. Considering the characteristics of each technology field, the research suggests a proper valuation method. In evaluating the value of defense technologies, A proposal is made to evaluate the value of defense technology by competent technical experts in each field, using SRL, which can be evaluated according to the evaluation criteria reflecting the technical characteristics of each field, and to evaluate the completion of the entire system in quantitative terms.
