A Study on the Accuracy and Convenience of Imaging Method Using Support Device in Knee Joint Lateral Radiography (슬관절의 측면 방사선 촬영에서 보조기구를 이용한 검사방법의 정확성과 편의성에 대한 연구)

  • In lateral projection imaging method of knee joint, a method that adjusts the incidence angle of central X-ray toward the head side to $5{\sim}7^{\circ}$ in true lateral position which is existing recommended is called imaging method A, Method of imaging the central X-ray perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the examination table toward the knee is called imaging method B, and a method in which the central X-ray is perpendicularly applied to the joints while the lateral side of the distal tibia is compensated by radiolucent materials is called as method C. After tests each imaging method to classified study subject respectively, the joint space distance and the distance between lateral and medial condyle of femur were measured and compared as the quantitative index from the three imaging methods. In addition, the convenience of each imaging method was confirmed through questionnaires to practician. According to the result of the quantitative index, there is no statistically significant difference in imaging method A and C(p>0.05). However, imaging method B showed a significant difference in both A and C(p<0.05). As a result of evaluating the convenience of the imaging method, imaging method A was relatively assessed lower in all items than imaging methods B and C, and as a small difference, imaging method B is assessed higher than C. In this study suggested new knee joint lateral projection imaging method, by using a simple support device, could describe joint space as not much different as existing recommended method without some complex process, and could increase convenience of the practician in the process of the imaging.

  • 감성공학을 적용한 자동차 개발 연구의 최근 동향은 감성공학을 부분적으로 편중적으로 적용하여 소비자의 감성을 수집하고 평가하여 자동차 개발에 필요한 데이터로 변환한 후 이를 설계에 적용하고 있는 추세로 자동차 설계에서의 구체적인 감성공학 적용 상세가이드라인에 대한 사용성 평가 사례가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 감성공학 적용 자동차 Cockpit 설계를 위한 가이드라인 구축의 일환으로 동급 해외 차량과 국내 차량을 각각 1대씩을 선정하여 두 차량에서의 자동차 Cockpit 형상에 대한 비교, 분석을 통한 사용 편의성 평가 실험을 시행하였다. 그 결과 벤치마킹 대상 차량의 Cockpit 물리적 형상간의 서로 다른 감성 요소를 추출해 내어 감성공학 적용 자동차 설계 시 Cockpit Object의 위치 선정를 고려하여 설계할 수 있는 내부 일부 가이드라인을 제시할 수 있었다.

Development of the Evaluation Indicators for Universality of Public Library Services: Based on Universal Design Principles (유니버설디자인 원리에 기초한 공공도서관 서비스의 보편성 평가지표 개발)

  • For public libraries to deliver appropriate information to various types of users in information society that allows people to access and use a variety of information, it is necessary to provide services applying the universal design principles in terms of universality. The purpose of this study is to develop the evaluation indicators for universality of public library services, which apply universal design principles to evaluate if public libraries provide appropriate services that meet their original purpose. The final 'Evaluation Indicators of Universality of Public Library Services' consist of six evaluation areas and 41 evaluation contents in 10 evaluation items. Each evaluation content is categorized into a relevant factor among five universal design applicable factors (Universality, Convenience, Recognition, Safety and Economic Feasibility) according to its characteristics.

  • In this paper, we proposed a home network integrated dimmer switch using Z-wave Mesh Network. The dimmer switch come with wired and wireless network-based intelligent lighting switch that can be installed in a apartments with home network technologies. This switch is ease to install and operate. Furthermore, it provide power saving through efficient control of light using motion detect sensor and light intensity sensor. In order to evaluate the performance of our developed home network integrated dimmer switch, we performed a load performance test and from our result, it showed excellent performance in terms of lighting control and communication speed.

  • This study aims to evaluate the quality of CD-ROM databases: Korean MARC on Disc and Korean National Bibliographies on CD-ROM. The five criteria(accuracy, completeness, consistency on the quality of data itself and ease of use, variety of retrieval function on the quality of database services) are used to measure their quality. The purpose of this study was to diagnose the quality of two CD-ROM databases mentioned above and to analyses the measured result of quality comparatively and to find out the problems of them and also to provide possible suggestions for their improvements.

  • 우량계 자료를 참 값이라고 가정할 때 레이더 자료에는 크게 두 가지 문제점이 나타난다. 평균의 차이로 인한 편의의 문제와 불확실성으로 인한 변동성의 문제가 그것이다. 두 가지 문제점으로 인해 발생하는 오차를 모두 고려할 수 있는 자료의 품질평가 방안으로 유철상과 윤정수(2009)는 통계학 분야의 분산분석과 유사한 방법론을 제시하였다. 그러나 이러한 방법론은 호우사상에 따라 가용한 레이더 강우와 우량계 강우 쌍의수가 다르기 때문에 서로 비교 평가할 수 없는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자료 쌍의 수에 영향을 받지 않는 레이더 강우의 품질기준(RRQC, Radar Rain rate Quality Criterion)을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법론에 따르면 우량계 강우와 레이더 강우가 완벽하게 일치하는 경우 100%의 품질이 되고 레이더 자료가 모두 0이면 0%가 된다. 위 기준은 충주댐 유역에서의 태풍 루사(2002년)와 대류성 강우(2003) 사상의 원자료, G/R 보정된 자료, CoKriging된 자료, G/R 보정 후 CoKriging된 자료에 적용하였다.

  • 조작해야 할 정보와 사물이 가장 많은 게임 장르인 RPG 장르에서 모바일 환경의 제약은 자연스럽게 사용자 인터페이스 패턴의 제약으로 연결된다. 다만 기기 환경도 스마트폰 디스플레이 화면이 예전보다 커지고 자동 전투 기능의 활용으로 조작의 대상과 적시성을 감소시키면서 최근에는 그 제약이 개선되었다는 평가가 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 지난 3년간 연도별로 가장 많이 플레이 된 모바일 RPG 게임 5개씩을 골라 주요 구성 요소의 전투 창에서의 배치 패턴을 분석하고 그러한 패턴이 실제로 사용자들에게 어떻게 인식되고 있는지 조작 편의성을 중심으로 만족도 평가를 실시하였다. 4점 척도로 적극적 평가를 요구한 9개의 설문에서 이 장르 사용자들은 대체로 70% 이상의 만족도를 보이고 있었으며 일부 설문에서만 게임 간 차이가 발견되었다.

Quantitative Evaluation Indicators for the City Bus Route Network (시내버스노선체계 평가를 위한 정량적 지표의 설정 및 적용)

  • A balanced evaluation system for a bus route network was proposed for a mid-sized suburban city. The evaluation system consists of 7 criteria-accessibility, riding comfort. transfer rate, directness of route, productivity of operation, regional equity, and minimum requirement of bus fleet - and quantitative indicators representing each of the criteria. The proposed system was applied in Siheung, a suburban city in Seoul Metropolitan Area. Four alternative scenarios of bus route network including the existing one were evaluated. The results showed that the suggested criteria and indicators are acceptable for the evaluation of a bus route network. In order to enhance the proposed evaluation procedure, further studies on the normalization of produced values and weights for each of the indicators are needed.

An Efficient Extended Query Suggestion System Using the Analysis of Users' Query Patterns (사용자 질의패턴 분석을 이용한 효율적인 확장검색어 추천시스템)

  • With the service suggesting additional extended or related query, search engines aim to provide their users more convenience. The extended or related query suggestion service based on popularity, or by how many people have searched on web using the query, has limitations to elevate users' satisfaction, because each user's preference and interests differ. This paper will demonstrate the design and realization of the system that suggests extended query appropriate for users' demands, and also an improvement in the computing process between entering the first search word and the subsequent extension to the related themes. According to the evaluation the proposed system suggested 41% more extended or related query than when searching on Google, and 48% more than on Yahoo. Also by improving the shortcomings of the extended or related query system based on general popularity rather than each user's preference, the new system enhanced users' convenience further.

  • One product has so many different kind of user groups and each user group has different characters and needs of use. So, designer has difficulty in definding which group is major or sub in a product, what kind of characters and needs does that group has. In this study, we classify the user upon three factors ; accuracy of rules, speed of action, speed of problem solving and propose design guideline for the classifed user group. The results of this study will be applied to more user-friendly design approach.
