This is to present the information and direction about color scheme image and adjective image in designing web page, by analysing the color image of our country's National University library's web page which is being operated now. The analysis method is to find the RGB of objective site through color emotion standard and to abstract the color chip. It is divided by color scheme image and adjective image. The scope of research is 41 National University libraries registered in National University Libraries Association. The result is that white and grey color of background and colors like light blue and green are main. In case of adjective image, nimble image and clear image was many. next is orderly bellowing image. and elegant image.

This paper presents a new page placement policy for DRAM/NVRAM hybrid main memory in smartphones. Unlike previous studies on hybrid memory systems, this paper performs the placement of pages based on the offline analysis of memory access behaviors as smartphone's memory accesses are skewed to a certain address ranges, which is consistent regardless of smartphone applications, specially for write operations. Thus, we aim at reducing the write traffic to NVRAM by the offline analysis results. Experimental results show that the proposed policy reduces the write traffic to NVRAM by 61% on average without performance degradations.

본 논문은 멀티미디어 페트리 넷을 분석하는 방법을 제공한다. 멀티미디어 시나리오는 결정적으로 진행됨으로 멀티미디어 페트리 넷은 마크드그래프라야 한다. 또한, 멀티미디어 시나리오는 시작 화면에서 시작하여 멀티미디어를 구성하는 모든 화면을 차례로 출력하고 종료 화면에서 끝나야 함으로 멀티미디어 페트리 넷은 Start place에만 하나의 토큰이 놓인 상태에서 격발을 진행하면 모든 트랜지션을 꼭 한번씩 격발한 다음 End place에만 꼭 하나의 토큰이 놓인 상태에 도달하는 성질이 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 성질들을 바탕으로 멀티미디어 시나리오의 무결성을 검사하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 멀티미디어 페트리 넷의 분석 방법을 제공한다.

The user interfaces of electronic-book (e-book) readers in the e-book market are highly diverse, and this has led to major usability issues. In this paper, we analyze user preferences in terms of feature-setting options and the use of touchscreen actions in the six most commonly used e-book readers for smartphnoes. We identify alternatives for these features, which can enhance the usability of e-book readers, based on these user preferences. The survey results for the feature-setting options show that it is desirable to support at least eight background colors, as well as the ability to specify the color of the background icons. Adjusting the screen brightness using a setting bar with the support of an auto-brightness option is desirable, as in using +/- buttons to adjust the font size, as well as approximately 10 font faces. We find that it is desirable to support fade, slide, scroll and curl page-turing options, in addition to a simple non-animated page-turning effect, and that page movement should be accomplished using a scroll bar with the support of the page movement features by entering a page number, and by using the table of contents as well as bookmarks. The survey results on the use of touchscreen options indicated that it is useful to be able to configure the screen layout of an e-book reader by dividing it into three areas: left, right, and center. And then, when users briefly touch the left and right areas, it is ideal to move to the previous and subsequent pages, respectively; and when they briefly touch the center region, it is desirable to display a touch feature menu. We believe that the results of this study may provide guidance in the design of user interfaces for e-book readers.

Rapid increasing number of the internet web site enables the users receives information prepared with multimedia techniques as an exchanging gateway to the world. It is also realized that we are living in information society connected by the flooding number of the web sites. Consequently, setting up the identity in developing a homepage is critical since clear distinction from other sites is required for the homepage in which a random user can delivers the ideas from the message offered by the provider. In this paper, in order to establish the identity for a homepage, what kinds of components of the identity should be discussed and how the identity is reflected in the existing homepage are analyzed with the selected sample web sites. The design process in developing the identity for Ssamzie homepage (www ssarnzie eo.kr) is reviewed for comparing with others of the selected sites as a case study. These will explain that the roles of the designers in a homepage preparation will not be limited to the graphic expressions but will be expanded to the contribution to provide the reasonable distinction in terms of the establishing identity of the web sites. Moreover, the phase of the designer can be reevaluated by emphasizing the roles and the established identity.

The holographic data storage system stores multiple data pages by multiplexing. But the inter-page interference(IPI) caused by multiplexing reduces the intensity of the hologram. The simulation of the holographic storage systems has to consider the IPI. Therefore, we introduce a channel modeling that takes care of inter-page interference in the holographic data storage system. We simulate the performance of PRML detection on the hologrpahic data storage system with IPI modeling.

This study proposes additional service pages for users, researchers, institutions to activate academic institutional repository which captures, disseminates, and manages various academic resources, i.e. theses, dissertations, journal articles, research reports, and so on. The research methods include literature study, case study, and site analysis on the current homepages of Ewha Womans University faculties & institutions. As a result, components and functions of additional service pages such as researchers' pages are suggested. Additional service pages will be made it possible for researchers to submit their products willingly and for academic institutional repositories to activate their services and improve content recruitment in the end.

In the standard URL normalization mechanism, URLs are normalized syntactically by a set of predefined steps. In this paper, we propose to complement the standard URL normalization by incorporating the semantically meaningful metadata of the web pages. The metadata taken into consideration are the body texts and the page size of the web pages, which can be extracted during HTML parsing. The results from our first exploratory experiment indicate that the body texts are effective in identifying equivalent URLs. Hence, given a URL which has undergone the standard normalization, we construct its URL signature by hashing the body text of the associated web page using Message-Digest algorithm 5 in the second experiment. URLs which share identical signatures are considered to be equivalent in our scheme. The results in the second experiment show that our proposed URL signatures were able to further reduce redundant URLs by 32.94% in comparison with the standard URL normalization.

웹 사용 마이닝은 데이터마이닝을 바탕으로 사용자의 로그 파일 정보를 이용하여 웹이 이용되는 패턴을 발견한다. 이를 이용하여 웹을 개선하여 사용자들이 보다 빨리 원하는 내용을 검색할 수 있도록 할 수 있으며 시스템 관리자에게는 효율적인 웹 구조를 인한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 웹 사용 마이닝에서 사용하는 데이터는 성형화되어 있지 않으며 웹 사용 패턴을 분석하는데 방해가 되는 잡음 데이터까지 포함하고 있다. 이것은 기존에 개발된 여러 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용하는데 어려움으로 작용한다. 이러한 어려움을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 새로운 방법을 도입한 SPMiner을 .제안한다. SPMiner는 웹의 구조를 이용하여 로그 파일의 전처리 과정을 줄이며 사용자의 탐색 패턴 분석을 효율적으로 수행 할 수 있는 시스템이다. SPMiner는 WebTree 에이전트를 이용하여 웹 사이트 구조를 분석하여 WebTree를 생성하고 사용자 로그 파일을 분석하여 각 웹 페이지의 사용빈도에 대한 정보를 추출한다. WebTree와 로그 파일에서 추출된 웹 페이지에 대한 정보는 SPMiner에 의해 패턴을 분석할 퍼 이용될 수 있는 형태인 WebTree$^{+}$로 병합된다 WebTree$^{+}$는 패턴 발견을 쉽게 해주며 사용자에게 추천할 정보나 웹 페이지를 능동적으로 추천할 수 있게 만들어 준다.

For analyzing a huge amount of web pages available in the Internet, we need to extract the encoded information in web pages. In this paper, we propose a method to extract and convert web information from web pages into XML documents for multidimensional analysis. For extracting information from web pages, we propose two languages: one for describing web information extraction rules based on the object-oriented model, and another for describing regular expressions of HTML tag patterns to search for target information. For multidimensional analysis on XML documents, we propose a method for constructing an XML warehouse and various XML cubes from it like the way we do for relational data. Finally, we show the validness of our method through the application to US patent web pages.
