A Fuzzy-AHP-based Movie Recommendation System using the GRU Language Model (GRU 언어 모델을 이용한 Fuzzy-AHP 기반 영화 추천 시스템)

  • With the advancement of wireless technology and the rapid growth of the infrastructure of mobile communication technology, systems applying AI-based platforms are drawing attention from users. In particular, the system that understands users' tastes and interests and recommends preferred items is applied to advanced e-commerce customized services and smart homes. However, there is a problem that these recommendation systems are difficult to reflect in real time the preferences of various users for tastes and interests. In this research, we propose a Fuzzy-AHP-based movies recommendation system using the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) language model to address a problem. In this system, we apply Fuzzy-AHP to reflect users' tastes or interests in real time. We also apply GRU language model-based models to analyze the public interest and the content of the film to recommend movies similar to the user's preferred factors. To validate the performance of this recommendation system, we measured the suitability of the learning model using scraping data used in the learning module, and measured the rate of learning performance by comparing the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) language model with the learning time per epoch. The results show that the average cross-validation index of the learning model in this work is suitable at 94.8% and that the learning performance rate outperforms the LSTM language model.

A Brief Empirical Verification Using Multiple Regression Analysis on the Measurement Results of Seaport Efficiency of AHP/DEA-AR (다중회귀분석을 이용한 AHP/DEA-AR 항만효율성 측정결과의 실증적 검증소고)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the empirical results of Analytic Hierarchy Process/Data Envelopment Analysis-Assurance Region(AHP/DEA-AR) by using multiple regression analysis during the period of 2009-2012 with 5 inputs (number of gantry cranes, number of berth, berth length, terminal yard, and mean depth) and 2 outputs (container TEU, and number of direct calling shipping companies). Assurance Region(AR) is the most important tool to measure the efficiency of seaports, because individual seaports are characterized in terms of inputs and outputs. Traditional AHP and multiple regression analysis techniques have been used for measuring the AR. However, few previous studies exist in the field of seaport efficiency measurement. The main empirical results of this study are as follows. First, the efficiency ranking comparison between the two models (AHP/DEA-AR and multiple regression) using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Mann-Whitney signed-rank sum test were matched with the average level of 84.5 % and 96.3% respectively. When data for four years are used, the ratios of the significant probability are decreased to 61.4% and 92.5%. The policy implication of this study is that the policy planners of Korean port should introduce AHP/DEA-AR and multiple regression analysis when they measure the seaport efficiency and consider the port investment for enhancing the efficiency of inputs and outputs. The next study will deal with the subjects introducing the Fuzzy method, non-radial DEA, and the mixed analysis between AHP/DEA-AR and multiple regression analysis.

A Study on the Scope of the Recognized Equity Capital of Developer in Real Estate Project Finance Loan Screening (부동산 PF를 위한 시행사의 자본금 인정범위에 관한 연구)

  • This study intends to explore the scope of the recognized equity capital of developer in real estate project finance loan screening. The factors which can be recognized as equity capital are categorized into 24 factors with 3 upper categories and 6 mid categories. In order to develop the importance weight of factors, AHP and Fuzzy methodologies are implemented based on survey analysis by experts in financial institutions. Research findings indicate that the land cost, evacuation cost, and real estate acquisition tax as land-related direct costs, and the design cost, traffic impact assessment cost, underground safety impact assessment cost, boundary surveying cost, and geological survey cost as the construction permit-related costs are higher than any others. On the other hand, the supplementary costs related to the operation of the developer show very low importance weight. Accordingly, the hierarchy of factors for equity capital should be clearly developed in order to minimize any dispute and prevent non-performing loans to real estate project finance.

Optimized Path Finding Algorithm for Walking Convenience of the People with Reduced Mobility (교통약자의 이동편의를 위한 최적경로 탐색 기법)

  • There has been growing social interest recently in the movement rights of people with reduced mobility. However, it simply eliminates the temporary inconvenience of walking of people with reduced mobility because it focuses only on supply of institutional facilities. Therefore, we look forward to improving movement welfare by proposing an optimized path finding algorithm for people with reduced mobility that takes into consideration physical elements affecting their movement, such as slope, steps etc. We selected Walking barrier factor by analyzing previous studies and calculated the relative importance of Walking barrier factors using an Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Next, through the fuzzy system, the Walking disturbance level of link, which integrates the weights of Walking barrier factors and the attributes of each link, is derived. Then, Walking path cost that takes into consideration the ‘length’ factors is calculated and an optimized path for people with reduced mobility is searched using Dijkstra’s Algorithm. Nineteen different paths were searched and we confirmed that the derived paths are meaningful in terms of improving the mobility of people with reduced mobility by conducting a field test. We look forward to improving movement welfare by providing a navigation service using the path finding algorithm proposed in this study.

  • Is presenting guidance of information performance measurement as government PRM version 2.0 these common reference models in public sector. Government PRM is consisted of assessment classification system and standard line of sight and performance management standard form. Through this, is sorting performance element and define cause-and effect. Government PRM is supplying measurement categories at assessment classification system, but relative importance for application standard by measurement categories is not presenting. In this study, importance for government PRM's measurement categories been applying by commonness Test of information performance measurement of public sector wishes to deduce estimation and priority. Research model used Fuzzy QFD, and designed so that can reflect well PRM's development purpose. I applied Fuzzy AHP and FPP method that graft together fuzzy theory to minimize uncertainty and ambiguity in that expert opinion. Is drawn to element that "Standard model offer for information department and management" is the most important in government PRM's development purpose. "Quality of service" is showing the highest priority in customer results in measurement category. Importance for government PRM's measurement categories can offer common valuation basis in government and public institution. Hereafter if examine closely quantitative cause-and effect for structure model of measurement classification system when study government PRM more objective and efficient reference model become.

A Study on the Decision-Making Factors of Street Turn Platform (복화운송 플렛폼 사용의사 결정요인 분석에 대한 연구)

  • The Street Turn system in South Korea has been developing continuously with the advancement of information technology; however, this has not lead to an increase of the Street Turn transportation volume. As a result, this study presents the decision-making factors for using the system from the standpoint of users of the existing Street Turn transportation system. The people who have used domestic Street Turn transportation services or who are working in a shipping company were analyzed using Fuzzy-AHP. A total of five major factors and 17 detailed factors were derived from this analysis. As a result, timeliness was selected as the most important major factor, and in particular, the information provision time (0.207) was selected as the most important factor, followed by platform use process (0.079), and number of participating shippers (0.074).

Risk Assessment of Marine LPG Engine Using Fuzzy Multicriteria HAZOP Technique (퍼지 다기준 HAZOP 기법을 이용한 해상용 LPG 엔진의 위험성 평가)

  • Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is an attractive fuel for ships considering its current technology and economic viability. However, safety guidelines for LPG-fueled ships are still under development, and there have been no cases of applying LPG propulsion systems to small and medium-sized ships in Korea. The purpose of this study was to perform an objective risk assessment for the first marine LPG engine system and propose safe operational standards. First, hazard and operability (HAZOP) analysis was used to divide the engine system into five nodes, and 58 hazards were identified. To compensate for the subjectivity of qualitative evaluation using HAZOP analysis, fuzzy set theory was used, and additional risk factors, such as detectability and sensitivity, were included to compare the relative weights of the risk factors using a fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. As a result, among the five risk factors, those with a major impact on risk were determined to be the frequency and severity. Finally, the fuzzy technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) was applied to select the risk rank more precisely by considering the weights of the risk factors. The risk level was divided into 47 groups, and the major hazard during the operation of the engine system was found through the analysis to be gas leakage during maintenance of the LPG supply line. The technique proposed can be applied to various facilities, such as LPG supply systems, and can be utilized as a standard procedure for risk assessment in developing safety standards for LPG-powered ships.

  • The paper presents a method for decision the optimal cycle time during the vehicle traffic control in single intersection with AHP. To solve this uncertainty optimization problem, the optimization index in the form of linear addition and fuzzy measurement is assumed and fuzzy integral is used. Examples of solution for two cases of optimal cycle time in two traffic controller are presented and compared.

  • In this paper we propose a product-service valuation model which is usable as a decision-making tool in order to attain a competitive advantage in service in the manufacturing industry. With this purpose, service quality, product quality and costs as valuation criteria are selected. Also, the paper utilizes an AHP model in order to differentiate a fuzzy theory and valuation factors to ensure objectivity in the evaluated results while excluding subjective factors in conducting the product-service valuation. Accordingly, the product-service valuation model and valuated results proposed in this paper are expected to be useful as a basic data for decision-making in order to draw competitive advantage strategies of service in the manufacturing industry.

  • 세계적으로 각 분야에서 SERVQUAL 모형과 SERVPERF 모형 등을 이용한 서비스품질에 대한 측정과 관련된 연구들이 많이 수행되어 오고 있지만 서비스품질을 계량화시키기 위한 연구는 활성화되고 있지 못하는 상황이다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 불확실하고 주관적인 환경에서 서비스품질을 객관성있게 측정하고 계량화시키기 위해서 L.A. Zadeh가 제안한 퍼지이론의 Triangular Fuzzy Number(TFN) 와 T.L. Saaty가 제안한 Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)를 이용하여 서비스품질을 측정하기 위한 방법을 제안하는 것이고, 본 연구를 통해서 조직의 제한적 자원으로 고객만족 극대화를 실현하기 위한 경쟁우위적 전략의 일환으로써 서비스품질을 제고시키는데 효율적이며 효과적인 의사결정안이 도출될 것으로 사료된다.
