Automatic Weblog Generation from Mobile Context using Bayesian Network and Petri Net (베이지안 네트워크와 페트리넷을 이용한 모바일 상황정보로부터의 블로그 자동 생성)

  • Weblog is one of the most spread web services. The content of the weblog includes daily events and emotions. If we collect personal information using mobile devices and create a weblog, user can create their own weblog easily. Some researchers already developed systems that created weblog in mobile environment. In this paper, user's activity is inferred from personal information in mobile device. The inferred activities and story generation engine are used to generate text for creating a weblog. Finally, the text, photographs and user's movement in Google Map are integrated into a weblog.

  • Different from ordinary mobile robots used in a well-structured industrial workspace, a guide mobile robot for the visually impaired should be designed in consideration of a moving obstacle, which mostly refers to pedestrians in intentional motions. Thus, the navigation of the guide robot can be facilitated if the intention of each detected obstacle can be known in advance. In this paper, we propose an inference method to understand an intention of a detected obstacle. In order to represent the environment with ultrasonic sensors, the fuzzy grid-type map is first constructed. Then, we detect the obstacle and infer the intention for collision avoidance with the CLA(Centroid of Largest Area) point of the fuzzy grid-type map. To verify the proposed method, some experiments are performed.

  • The construction of ontology defines as complicated semantic relations needs precise and expert skills. For the well defined ontology in real applications, plenty of information of instances for ontology classes is very critical. In this study, crawling algorithm which extracts the fittest topic from the Web overflowing over by a great number of documents has been focused and developed. Proposed crawling algorithm made a progress to gather documents at high speed by extracting topic-specific Link using URL patterns. And topic fitness of Link block text has been represented by fuzzy sets which will improve a precision of the focused crawler.

  • In this paper, the cooperative retrieval system to interface between users and DB, image data and knowledge-based database(KDB), being formed in a linguistic knowledge expression, of system is presented. Conventional database retrieval systems provide the data only in case that the data exactly corresponding with users' requirements exist in these systems, but don't in other cases. In order to resolve this problem, if the data users require are not in existence, this system shows the data and image information which are approximate with knowledge-based database materialized by fuzzy clustering and allocation of linguistic label.

  • Autonomous robots performing desired tasks in rough, changing, unstructured environments without continuous human assistance must have the ability to cope with its surroundings whether this be certain or not. The development of algorithms deriving useful conclusions from uncertain information obtained by various sensors may be the first for it. Recently ontology is taken great attention as a method useful for the representation and processing of knowledge. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based navigation algorithm for autonomous robots, and provide computer simulation results in order to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

Similarity Measure Between Interval-valued Vague Sets (구간값 모호집합 사이의 유사척도)

  • In this paper, a similarity measure between interval-valued vague sets is proposed. In the interval-valued vague sets representation, the upper bound and the lower bound of a vague set are represented as intervals of interval-valued fuzzy set respectively. Proposed method combines the concept of geometric distance and the center-of-gravity point of interval-valued vague set to evaluate the degree of similarity between interval-valued vague sets. We also prove three properties of the proposed similarity measure. It provides a useful way to measure the degree of similarity between interval-valued vague sets.

  • A general meaning of caricaturing is that a representation, especially pictorial or literary, in which the subject's distinctive features or peculiarities are deliberately exaggerated to produce a comic or grotesque effect. In other words, a caricature is defined as a rough sketch(dessin) which is made by detecting features from human face and exaggerating or warping those. There have been developed many methods which can make a caricature image from human face using computer. In this paper, we propose a new caricaturing system. The system uses a real-time image or supplied image as an input image and deals with it on four processing steps and then creates a caricatured image finally. The four Processing steps are like that. The first step is detecting a face from input image. The second step is extracting special coordinate values as facial geometric information. The third step is deforming the face image using local warping method and the coordinate values acquired in the second step. In fourth step, the system transforms the deformed image into the better improved edge image using a fuzzy Sobel method and then creates a caricatured image finally. In this paper , we can realize a caricaturing system which is simpler than any other exiting systems in ways that create a caricatured image and does not need complex algorithms using many image processing methods like image recognition, transformation and edge detection.

A Study on the Advancement Structure Model of Maritime Safety Information System(GICOMS) using FSM (FSM을 이용한 해양안전정보시스템의 고도화 구조모델 연구)

  • This paper is aims to build the advancement structural model of GICOMS through identification of required system and improvement for implementation of e-Navigation. We derived nine improvement subject for model of advanced GICOMS through the analysis of problems for GICOMS and brainstorming with expert in the maritime safety. And we analyzed the structure of nine improvement subject using by FSM(Fuzzy Structural Modeling) method, and proposed a structural model that to grasp the correlation between elements. As a result, we found out that "advancement of GICOMS" is the final goal, and "improvement a system of information production", "improvement a scheme of information providing", "linkage between GICOMS and VTS" and "building global networks for safety cooperation" are located lowest level. Especially, "advancement of GICOMS" is influenced by "advancement function of VMS" and "Activation of usage" on middle level. We suggested that utilizing state-of-the-art IT facilities, equipment and expertise to improve and enhance the user-centered transition such as maritime workers for advancement of GICOMS based on proposed structure model.

  • 하천 세내지 주변은 급속한 시가지 조성과 인구밀집으로 유역의 불투수층이 증가하여 홍수도달시간이 짧아지고 홍수유출량이 증가하고 있다. 또한 엘리뇨${\cdot}$라니냐 등의 이상기후로 홍수사상의 발생 빈도와 규모가 증가하면서 홍수피해도 대형화되어 가고 있다. 그러나 치수사업은 다른 공공사업에 비해 경제성이 저평가 되어 투자우선순위가 밀려 사업시행이 지연되고 예방적 차원의 대책도 미흡하여 피해가 증가하는 악순환이 계속되고 있다. 따라서 본 인구에서는 우리나라의 치수경제성 분석에 있어 계량화하지 못하고 있는 자산이용고도화 효과를 치수안전도와 더불어 분석하고자 한다. 자산이용고도화는 치수사업 시행으로 해당지역의 치수안전도 향상에 따른 자산가치의 상승을 말하는데, 특정지역의 자산가치를 가장 객관적으로 표현할 수 있는 공시지가를 근거로 분석을 수행하였다. 치수사업 시행으로 인한 편익과 하천 특성에 따른 지가변동률의 차이가 통계적으로 유의성이 있는지를 분산분석을 통해 검증하였으면, 자산가치의 상승을 순수 연평균지가변동률로 나타내었다. 치수안전도는 홍수피해 잠재성과 홍수방어능력으로 구분하였는데 홍수피해 잠재성은 도시화율에 따라 구분하였고, 홍수방어능력은 홍수량의 빈도해석과 불확실성을 고려하여 조건부 비초과확률로 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 소도시 지역(경안천, 복하천, 청미천)을 대상으로 200년 빈도의 홍수사상에 내해 10년, 50년 설계빈도로 건설된 제방의 조건부 비초과확률을 산정하여 지가변동률의 추이를 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 소도시 지역에서는 조건부 비초과확률이 $10\%$ 상승했을 때 순수 연평균지가변동률이 5배정도 상승함을 알 수 있었다.다시 입력자료로 사용하는 업데이트 방식을 사용하기 때문에 예측결과의 오차가 완전하게 보정되지 않으면 다음 결과에 역시 오차를 주게 되어 오차보정이 상당히 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 오차를 보다 효과적으로 보정하기 위해서는 퍼지제어에 사용되는 퍼지규칙의 수를 늘리고, 유입량에 직접적인 영향을 주는 강우량과 연계한 2변수의 Fuzzy-Grey 모형을 이용한다면 보다 정확한 유입량 예측이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.이 작은 오차를 발생하였으며, 전체적으로 퍼프 모형이 입자모형보다는 훨씬 적은 수의 계산을 통해서도 작은 오차를 나타낼 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 Gaussian 분포를 갖는 퍼프모형은 전단흐름에서의 긴 유선형 농도분포를 모의할 수 없었고, 이에 관한 오차는 전단계수가 증가함에 따라 비선형적으로 증가하였다. 향후, 보다 다양한 흐름영역에서 장${\cdot}$단점 분석 및 오차해석을 수행한 후에 각각의 Lagrangian 모형의 장점만을 갖는 모형결합 방법을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.mm/$m^{2}$로 감소한 소견을 보였다. 승모판 성형술은 전 승모판엽 탈출증이 있는 두 환아에서 동시에 시행하였다. 수술 후 1년 내 시행한 심초음파에서 모든 환아에서 단지 경등도 이하의 승모판 폐쇄 부전 소견을 보였다. 수술 후 조기 사망은 없었으며, 합병증으로는 유미흉이 한 명에서 있었다. 술 후 10개월째 허혈성 확장성 심근증이 호전되지 않아 Dor 술식을 시행한 후 사망한 예를 제외한 나머지 6명은 특이 증상 없이 정상 생활 중이다 결론: 좌관상동맥 페동맥이상 기시증은 드물기는 하나, 영유아기에 심근경색 및 허혈성 심근증 또는 선천성 승모

Hierarchical Visualization of the Space of Facial Expressions (얼굴 표정공간의 계층적 가시화)

  • This paper presents a facial animation method that enables the user to select a sequence of facial frames from the facial expression space, whose level of details the user can select hierarchically Our system creates the facial expression space from about 2400 captured facial frames. To represent the state of each expression, we use the distance matrix that represents the distance between pairs of feature points on the face. The shortest trajectories are found by dynamic programming. The space of facial expressions is multidimensional. To navigate this space, we visualize the space of expressions in 2D space by using the multidimensional scaling(MDS). But because there are too many facial expressions to select from, the user faces difficulty in navigating the space. So, we visualize the space hierarchically. To partition the space into a hierarchy of subspaces, we use fuzzy clustering. In the beginning, the system creates about 10 clusters from the space of 2400 facial expressions. Every tine the level increases, the system doubles the number of clusters. The cluster centers are displayed on 2D screen and are used as candidate key frames for key frame animation. The user selects new key frames along the navigation path of the previous level. At the maximum level, the user completes key frame specification. We let animators use the system to create example animations, and evaluate the system based on the results.
