  • As the five-day workweek has been implemented in Korea many people are focusing their attention on hobbies, leisure activities or camping to enjoy the weekend. Recently many workers are purchasing personal mobility devices for commute, due to the launch of cheap personal mobility devices by Xiaomi. Under such circumstances, this study aimed to develop turn signals by using gyroscope sensors for safe use of personal mobility devices or for leisure activities. This study focused on previous cases of turn signal production for the safety during leisure activities or for personal mobility devices and analyzed their cases and identified problems. This study further presented an alternative design to overcome such problems and to develop turn signals for the safety of users. This is ring shape and included LED and then it expresses user's direction for backside. This study is one of the solution for safety of personal mobility product user.

  • In this paper, a mechanism of an omni-directional personal mobility which can drive diagonally is proposed. Mobility is a prerequisite involved in basic human life and activities. Personal mobility vehicle is a new mobility method which overcome the limits of automobiles. However, personal mobilities with four wheeled structure still have limitations. The proposed personal mobility vehicle can overcome the limitations of mobility because its rear wheels can be steered omni-directionally. In addition, the handicapped can drive it through a narrow road such as an alleyway or corridor and avoid obstacles on the traveling route. The proposed mechanism of personal mobility and the steering performance are tested by experiments, and the feasibility of diagonal driving is verified.

  • With mobility-as-a-service(MaaS) drawing attention to its influence and ripple effect around the world, the mobility service market is currently growing rapidly mainly focusing on mobility sharing. In order to preemptively dominate the mobility service market following the full-scale spread of MaaS, it is important to first identify the recognition and experience of users in personal mobility sharing services, which are currently in the early stages of diffusion, and through which to understand the characteristics of potential consumers of the extended mobility service market. Therefore, the study aims to classify the user types of mobility service and establish a future user experience-oriented mobility service strategy using a subjectivity study method, Q methodology.

  • 어린이 교통관련 안전사고 잠재적 위험요인 및 개선요인을 도출하기 위해 119구조구급자료 중 6세부터 11세까지의 어린이 사고 자료를 분석하였다. 4개 광역지자체의 2014년부터 5년간 자료에 대한 사고내용을 전수 조사하여 분석하였다. 주요 사고 장소 및 시간대 분석 결과 어린이 교통사고는 하교시간 오후 시간대에 도로에서의 집중적 관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 어린이 교통사고 잠재적 위험요인을 분석한 결과 자동차와 자전거를 이외 탈 것에 관한 사고비율이 최근 높아지고 있음을 확인하였다. 연간 교통사고 전체 건수에 대한 추이는 큰 변화는 없었으나 개인 탈것의 사고 증가는 뚜렷하였다. 그 중 킥보드에 대한 사고가 가장 많았고, 퍼스널 모빌리티가 가장 뚜렷한 증가 분야였다. 현재 어린이에게 적용되고 있는 퍼스널 모빌리티 등에 대한 안전가이드라인이나 규정 등은 미비하나 향후 퍼스널 모빌리티의 보급은 크게 늘어날 것으로 전망된다. 향후 어린이 교통사고를 줄이기 위해서는 어린이가 개인 전동 이동수단 활용 시 안전에 대한 규정마련과 교육이 시급하다.

Numerical Study on the Heat Transfer Characteristics of 360 Wh Li-ion Battery Pack for Personal Mobility (360 Wh급 퍼스널 모빌리티용 리튬이온 배터리 팩의 열전달 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study numerically evaluates the heat transfer characteristics of a 360-Wh Li-ion battery pack. The analysis was done in ANSYS CFX using different cell arrangements, cell holders, and case materials for a personal mobility device program. A total of four cases of cell arrangements were considered, along with various materials for both the cell holder and the case, such as polypropylene, aluminum, and magnesium alloy. Out of the four cell arrangements, model 2 showed the best heat transfer performance, while aluminum showed the best heat transfer performance for the cell holder and case.

  • 퍼스널 모빌리티를 비롯한 공유 모빌리티 시장이 국내에서 급격한 성장을 거두고 있다. 서울시에서는 2015년부터 공공자전거 서비스 '따릉이' 사업을 시작해 서울시민에게 주목받는 정책 중 하나로 자리매김했다. 그에 따라 매해 늘어나는 따릉이 수요를 맞추기 위해 서울시에서는 따릉이 대여소를 매해 증설하고 있으나, 자전거 부족, 거치대 부족으로 많은 불만이 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 따릉이 대여소의 이용률을 분석하여 사용이 집중되는 대여소와 그 시간대를 분석하고, 이를 통해 특정 대여소에 자전거가 필요 이상으로 반납되거나 부족해지는 현상을 해결할 방법을 제시한다.

  • 최근 퍼스널 모빌리티에 대한 관심과 수요가 증대됨에 따라 전기에너지를 구동원으로 하는 소형 이동형 제품을 생활속에서 쉽게 접할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 퍼스널 모빌리티 제품은 자이로센서 기술이 접복된 바퀴가 하나인 외발 전동휠과 세그웨이류의 제품, 전동퀵보드, 전동스쿠터 등 다양한 제품이 출시되고 있다. 또한 이들 제품의 구동전원은 대부분 리튬이차전지가 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 충전과 방전을 반복하는 다셀이 직렬로 구성된 리튬 이차전지 배터리팩에서 발생되는 셀간 편차와 이로 인해 배터리팩의 전체적인 효율성이 저하되는 것을 방지하는 셀 밸런싱에 관한 기술로 과거 완속형의 표준충전에 적합한 1단 밸런싱의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 표준충전과 급속충전을 임의로 선택하여 사용하는 경우에도 정상적인 셀 밸런싱 수행은 물론 빠른 셀 밸런싱을 수행하기 위한 기법에 대해 살펴보았다.

  • Smart mobility is rapidly emerging as a next-generation eco-friendly transportation system, and the market is booming every year. However, due to the characteristics of the devices that use electricity as the power source, the motor and the battery are different from the performance and actual performance indicated by the manufacturer depending on the user's weight and driving environment. Therefore, The frequency of the overload is increased and the failure and damage of the device are increasing. In this paper, we propose an application that provides personalized recommended driving guidance and overloaded driving situation notification at the actual driving separately from the recommended driving provided by the manufacturer after measuring the driving environment of the user, so as to prevent malfunction and damage of the smart mobility device, To ensure safety.

  • With the growth of the global sharing economy market, various sharing services have recently appeared in South Korea. Seoul city unmanned public bicycle rental service, "Ttareuni" is one of the services representing the shared mobility industry in South Korea. Although many users use this service, the usability of the mobile application, which is the essential medium of utilizing the service, is not improving. In this regard, this study conducted usability testing and in-depth interviews for Ttareungi's main users in their 20s and 30s to improve the user experience of the mobile application of Ttareungi. As a result, the problems of Ttareungi mobile application were identified, and based on this, design considerations for shared mobility services having publicity like Ttareungi were proposed. This is expected to contribute to improving the user experience of shared mobility services.
