Patterning of Visual Environmental Elements and Player Reactions in Game Space of Adventure Games (어드벤처 게임공간에서 시각적 환경요소와 플레이어 반응의 패턴화)

  • In a game, the visual environment element is a means of expressing the intention of the developer, and is mediums that enable the player to gain to play experience of interaction. In this paper, the player's reaction to the visual environmental elements of the adventure game was patterned with a collection and analysis process by empirical experiments. The data collected through the experiment were about 10,000, and as a result of the analysis, 24 types of player reaction patterns were found in total. This can be used as a guideline for game space design by matching the properties of visual environment elements and the reactions against players occurring in the game play process to examine the play experience.

  • In order to decode the bar code image binarization process is indispensable. The traditional binarization method is a global threshold binarization and local threshold binarization. Global threshold binarization method using a single threshold. In some cases there is a blur, or if the brightness is different from the bar code image. Therefore, binary pattern information is not retained. Local threshold method is binaized pattern information is maintained but processing speed is slow than global threshold binarization. The algorithm for solving this problem, there is modified binary algorithm. In this paper, we proposed hardware IP implemented by Vivado of modified binary algorithm.

  • 다양한 플랫폼 상에서 응용 시스템에 대한 개발, 배포, 운영의 고생산성과 고품질을 얻기 위해서는 소프트웨어 구성 요소들의 체계적인 재사용 접근과 자동화된 도구의 지원이 요구된다. 함수나 클래스 라이브러리에서 설계 패턴과 프레임워크, 그리고 최근의 상업적인 비즈니스 컴포넌트에 이르기까지 여러 재사용 방법이 제시되었으나 기대만큼의 확실한 효과를 얻을 수 없었다. 설계 패턴은 설계 경험에 대한 캡슐화된 빌딩 블록으로 개발 응용의 표준화된 아키텍쳐 제공을 통해 응용 도메인의 한정성과 클래스 수준의 재상용의 복잡성을 극복할 수 있다. 응용 개발의 표준 아키텍쳐로서의 웹을 통한 재사용 요소들의 공유는 여러 개발자들에 의한 다양한 도메인 요소로서의 전개와 동적이며 실시간적인 라이브러리 관리가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 웹 환경 하에서 자동화된 설계 패턴 재사용 환경 구축을 목적으로 한다. 그러므로 For Reuse 관점에서 서버 상에 각 도메인별 패턴 라이브러리를 구축하며 With Reuse 관점에서 패턴 검색, 이해, 획들 그리고 재구조화를 통한 응용으로의 재사용 지원기를 구축한다. 본 시스템은 패턴의 공유에 의한 유사 도메인 응용의 표준화를 유도하고 사용자의 패턴 재정의에 의한 자생적을 확장 가능한 패턴 라이브러리 제공이 가능하다. 또한 이를 위해 도메인 분석을 통한 패턴의 행위와 의도를 기준으로 설계 패턴들을 분류, 카탈로깅하여 재사용 라이브러리를 제시한다.

  • 최근 위치 측위 기술의 발달 및 GPS 기술의 상용화로 인해 무선 통신 기기의 보급이 증가하면서 다양한 위치 기반 서비스 개발을 위한 노력이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 사용자들의 특성에 맞게 개인화되고 세분화된 위치 기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 방대한 이동 객체의 위치 이동 데이터로부터 의미있는 지식인 유용한 패턴을 추출하기 위한 시간 패턴 탐사가 필요하다. 기존의 시간 패턴 탐사 기법들 중 일부는 이동 객체의 시간에 따른 공간 속성들의 변화를 충분히 고려하지 못하거나 또는 시공간 속성을 동시에 고려한 패턴 탐사는 가능하나 전체 이동 패턴들 중 추출하고자 하는 패턴에 반드시 포함되어야 하는 공간 정보에 대한 제약이 없어 특정 지점들 사이의 최적 이동 경로 탐색 문제나 단위기간 동안 이동 객체가 순회해야 지점들에 대한 스케줄링 경로 예측 문제 등에 적용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이동 객체의 위치 이력 데이터들에 대한 시공간 속성들을 고려하여 다양한 이동 패턴들 중 객체의 최적 이동 경로에 해당하는 패턴을 탐색하기 위한 새로운 시간 패턴 마이닝 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 특정한 지점들 사이를 이동한 객체의 위치 데이터들 중 객체가 가장 빈번하게 이동한 경로를 탐색하여 최적 경로를 결정하는 알고리즘으로, 공간 추상 계층의 각 계층별 영역 내 포함여부를 고려한 위치 일반화를 수행하여 보다 효과적으로 이동 패턴을 탐색할 수 있다.

  • In this paper we proposed and implemented an incident detection model which combines fuzzy algorithm and traffic pattern in order to enhance the efficiency of incident detection for the highways with lamps. Most of the existing algorithms dealt with highways without lamps and can not be used for detecting incidents in the highways with lamps. The data used for model building are traffic volume, occupancy, and speed data. They have been collected by a loop sensor at 5 minutes interval at a point in the Internal Circular Highway of Seoul for the period of 3 months. In this model, the three parameters collected by sensor were fuzzified and combined with the daily traffic pattern of the link. The test of efficiency of the propsed model was performed by comparing the result of proposed model with traditional APID algorithm and fuzzy algorithm without the pattern data respectively. The result showed significant amount of improvement in reducing the false incident detection rate by 18%.

  • In this paper, we extract the user's power consumption patterns, and model the optimal consumption patterns by applying the user's environment and emotion. Based on the comparative analysis of these two patterns, we present an efficient power consumption method through changes in the user's power consumption behavior. To extract significant consumption patterns, vector standardization and binary data transformation methods are used, and learning about the ensemble's ensemble with k-means clustering is applied, and applying the support factor according to the value of k. The optimal power consumption pattern model is generated by applying forced and emotion-based control based on the learning results for ensemble aggregates with relatively low average consumption. Through experiments, we validate that it can be applied to a variety of windows through the number or size adjustment of clusters to enable forced and emotion-based control according to the user's intentions by identifying the correlation between the number of clusters and the consistency ratios.

  • Objective : To investigate the effects of thorax mobility exercises on thorax mobility, breathing pattern, and respiratory capacity in subjects with restricted thorax mobility. Methods : Thirteen subjects with restricted thorax mobility participated in this study. Measurement of thorax circumference using a tape measure (difference between inhalation and exhalation), breathing pattern (distance of rib cage elevation during breathing), and respiratory capacity was performed. Paired t-test was used to compare the thorax mobility, breathing pattern, and respiratory capacity between before and after thorax mobility excercise. Statiscal significance was set at .05. Results : There were significant differences in thorax mobility and breathing pattern, but no significant difference in respiratory capacity (p < .05). Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, thorax mobility exercise using the rib mobilization technique is considered to be a method that can improve thorax mobility and normalize abnormal breathing patterns that cause rib cage elevation.

  • As software grows continuously in scale and complexity, the role of software architecture has become increasingly important across various industries. Although software architects often rely on their experience and intuition when designing such architecture, there is a variety of methodologies being researched for architecture design. However, these methodologies do not address the specific effects of applying multiple architectural patterns to a system or the sequence in which they should be applied. In this study, we explain the variation in architectural design results depending on the order in which the same set of architectural patterns is applied to a single system. Based on this phenomenon, we identify requirements for applying architectural patterns and propose a method of classifying the patterns to be applied. We also propose a prioritization process for requirements to efficiently apply the classified patterns in a specific order. Finally, we show a case study that prioritizing requirements based on architectural pattern types is beneficial for efficient software architecture design in terms of quality attributes.

  • The purpose of this paper is evaluation of various normalization methods and fusion algorithms in addition to pattern classification algorithms for multi-biometric systems. Experiments are performed using various normalization functions, fusion algorithms and pattern classification algorithms based on Biometric Scores Set-Releasel(BSSR1) provided by NIST. The performance results are presented by Half Total Error Rate (WTER). This study gives base data for the study on performance enhancement of multiple-biometric system by showing performance results using single database and metrics.
