Analysis of Powder Packing for Alumina Using Design of Experiment with Mixture and Vibration (혼합물실험계획법과 가진을 이용한 알루미나 파우더의 충진율 분석)

  • Alumina powder is one of the widely used materials for industry, but there is a problem that the strength of the product changes depending on the powder packing state. To solve the above problem, previous studies have been conducted to increase the particle packing efficiency, but most of the existing studies analyzed the packing characteristics of millimeter-scale particles, so the physical properties are different from those of the micrometer scale. It is difficult to apply to the micrometer scale. In this paper, a three-step experiment was performed using a statistical method to increase packing using micrometer-scale alumina powder. First, a size combination with high packing and a mixing ratio were selected using the mixture test design method, and an appropriate excitation frequency was selected by analyzing the height change according to the frequency change in the vibration test apparatus. Finally, an alumina powder packing experiment was performed based on the experimental results mentioned above. As a result, it was confirmed that the maximum height variation was 42% higher than the maximum value of the 155 measurements performed when selecting the packing size combination. It is thought that this study will serve as basic data for processing and packing research using fine powder.

  • Recently, static analysis-based signature and pattern detection technologies have limitations due to the advanced IT technologies. Moreover, It is a compatibility problem of multiple architectures and an inherent problem of signature and pattern detection. Malicious codes use obfuscation and packing techniques to hide their identity, and they also avoid existing static analysis-based signature and pattern detection techniques such as code rearrangement, register modification, and branching statement addition. In this paper, We propose an LLVM IR image-based automated static analysis of malicious code technology using machine learning to solve the problems mentioned above. Whether binary is obfuscated or packed, it's decompiled into LLVM IR, which is an intermediate representation dedicated to static analysis and optimization. "Therefore, the LLVM IR code is converted into an image before being fed to the CNN-based transfer learning algorithm ResNet50v2 supported by Keras". As a result, we present a model for image-based detection of malicious code.

  • 유압 실린더용 유패킹의 접촉력, 접촉폭, 돌출발생 임계압력을 밀봉간극에 대하여 유한요소법을 이용하여 수치적으로 해석하였다. 초기 간섭량이 증가함에 따라 접촉력 및 접촉폭은 급격하게 증가하였다. 그러나 유압이 작용하는 상태에서 밀봉간극이 감소하면 시일의 돌출현상이 발생하는 임계압력은 보다 가파르게 증가함을 확인하였다. 초기 간섭량에 의한 접촉력으로 부터 유압 실린더의 누설에 관련된 사용 최저 유압을 연계하여 갑섭량이 설계되어야하고, 돌출발생 임계압력으로 부터는 사용 최고유압과 관련하여 간극이 설계되어야 하므로 이에 대한 수치해석적 설계자료를 제시하였다. 특히 시일립부의 접촉면을 나타내는 축방향에 따라서 접촉력 분포는 시일립 선단부와 돌출현상에 따른 상호 복잡한 결과의 중요성을 제시하였다. 이 결과는 윤활해석을 위한 탄성유체윤활 해석시 입력자료로 사용될 수 있어 실제 유막두께 해석 및 유동해석을 통하여 누설량 예측 등에 이용될 수 있는 설게자료이다.

  • This paper deals with a kind of packing problem of which the goal is to compose one or more templates which will be used to produce the items of different types. Each template consists of a fixed number of slots which are assigned to the different types of items and the production of the items is accomplished by printing the template repeatedly. The objective is to minimize the total number of produced items. This problem is known to be NP-hard. We present a polynomial time approximation algorithm which has a constant approximation ratio. The proposed algorithm is based on the well-known first-fit strategy.

  • For the evaluation of operability of MOV(Motor Operated Valve), the precision prediction of thrust/torque acting on the valve is important. In this paper, the analytical prediction method of thrust/torque was proposed. The design basis stem thrust calculation typically considers the followings: Packing thrust, Stem rejection load, design basis differential pressure load. In general, test results show that temperature, pressure, fluid type, and differential pressure, independently and combination, all have an effect on the friction factor. The prediction results of thrust/torque are well agrement with dynamic test results.

  • Shell finite elements are widely used for the analysis of thin section objects such as sheet metal parts, automobile bodies and et al. due to their computational efficiency. Since many of input data for finite element analysis are given as solid models or triangulated surface models, one should extract midsurface information from these input data initially and then construct shell meshes on the extracted midsurfaces. In this paper, a method of generating shell elements on midsurfaces directly from input models has been proposed, in which midsurface generating process can be omitted. In order to construct shell meshes, the input models should be triangulated on surfaces first, and then tetrahedral elements are generated by using an advancing front method, and finally mid shell surfaces are obtained from tetrahedral meshes. Some examples are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

  • We consider a routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) for the efficient operation of WDM networks. For a given physical network, a set of selected pairs of nodes, the number of required connections for each selected pair of nodes, and a set of available wavelengths, the RWA is to realize as many connections as possible without wavelength collision. We give an integer programming formulation and an algorithm based on column generation. Though the proposed algorithm does not guarantee optimal solutions, test results show that the algorithm gives probably good solutions.

  • 본 연구에서는 상수관로 보수 작업시 필연적으로 수행하던 단수 작업을 배제 하고 단수 없이 시행 가능한 관로 내시 진단 장치와 밸브류의 유지 보수 및 성능 개선을 위한 부단수 밸브 그랜드 패킹 교체장치, 부단수 밸브 스케일 제거 장치, 부단수 밸브 교체 장치를 개발함으로써 단수에 따른 시민 불편 및 경제적 손실을 저감하고 연속적인 물공급에 대한 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있으며, 누수 사고시 신속한 대처로 유수율 향상에 기여 할 수 있다. 또한, 관로의 내부를 직접 육안에 의해 관찰함으로써 해당 관로의 세척, 교체 등 정확한 보수 방법을 선정할 수 있으며, 정기적인 관 내부상태 확인을 통하여 노후도 평가의 직접진단 데이터로 활용 할 수 있다.

  • We consider a two-dimensional vector packing problem in which each item has size in x- and y-coordinates. The purpose of this paper is to provide a ground work on how hard two-dimensional vector packing problems are for large items. We prove that the problem with each item greater than 1/2-${\varepsilon}$ either in x- or y-coordinates for 0 < ${\varepsilon}$ ${\leq}$ 1/6 has no APTAS unless P = NP.

  • 밀봉장치는 밀봉요소 또는 시일(seal)이라 불리우며, 서로 접촉한 부분 사이에서 유체의 누설방지 및 이물질의 침입방지에 이용되고 있다. 밀봉면에 거시적인 상대운동이 있는가 없는가에 따라 동적요소와 정적요소로 분리된다. 동적밀봉요소를 운동용 시일 또는 패킹(packing)이라하고 크게 접촉형과 비접촉형으로 분리된다. 정적밀봉요소를 정지용 또는 고정용 시일이라하며 가스켓(gasket)이라고도 한다. 오일 시일의 일반적인 사항에 대해 설명하였다. 사용기기의 고속, 고성능화에 다라 오일 시일의 사용조건이 점점 가혹하게 되고 있으므로 신뢰성과 안정성에 대한 요구도 증가하고 있다. 특히 트러블 원인은 살펴보면 취급법이나 축에 기인하는 초기 고장이 많으므로, 사용조건에 적당한 오일 시일을 선정하고 올바른 사용 방법을 지키므로서 초기 고장을 대폭 감소시킬 수 있다. 보다 전문적인 내용들은 관련 문헌을 참조바란다.
