The purpose of this study is to analyze the expressional traits and meanings of body images in contemporary fashion illustration, based on postmodern body theories and body images in postmodern art. For achieving the purpose, this study performed related research works and undertook a demonstrative analysis of fashion illustrations. The results are as follows : The postmodern body theories not only opposed, deconstructed the traditional concepts and norms of body, but also revealed the suppressed facts of it. Also they composed the new concepts of body. The expressional traits of body images in postmodern art and contemporary fashion illustration were categorized as realistically presented body, distorted/deformed body, fragmented body, abject body, post-gendered body and absent body. Through these traits, the meanings of defiance to authority, revelation of reality, new creation were expressed. In conclusion, the various body images in contemporary fashion illustration reflect open concepts for human beings and give new aesthetic experiences.

Origami’s formative characteristics have been used in modern fashion design usefully. This article categorized origami expression methods by making technique as three category; producing methods, organized principles and expressive characteristics. And then, this article argued characteristics of fashion design used origami expression methods. Fashion design using origami expression methods had three characteristics; basic tailoring, decorative surface, fluidity & rhythm. The proceeding article on paper folding argued formative aspects of paper folding widely, while this study focused on origami’s basic expression methods in detail and clarified characteristics of fashion design used origami. This article’s originality existed in that point. And also a result of this study would be regarded as a important sources in design processing of fashion design.

The more women's participation in society is increasing, the higher interests and expressions about appearance are. Among them, especially interest in women's fashion is increasing very. By increasing interest of women's appearance, requirements of various women's fashion marketing ways are increasing and the women's fashion market is expanding as much as it is. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the strategies for marketing activation in women's fashion after consideration of general women's fashion marketing strategies. Through the activation of the marketing strategies, marketing in a women's fashion market is expected to be competitive.

Fashion is one of the characteristics which represents the comtemporary sociocultural signifiant. A style that a certain stream of fashion brings is not just limited in fragmentary tendencies and fads. That can be a code to communicate and function as a medium in itself. Music has been displaying it's power to fashion while fashion has been exercising it's influence over the music. There is an inseparable relationship between music and fashion in terms of expressing our images of the world: fashion delivers them through visuality and music does it by sound. Both fashion and music are reflecting our society as well as they are influencing on sociocultural aspects generally. Whenever music has been changed new youth culture has been made and this culture has been expanded with forming some distinct fashion trends. The study focuses on identifying the relations between pop music and fashion styles which are occupying positions firmly on the bases of youth culture through analysing the relations between the fashion styles and music genres which are used in sub-culture groups to express their own identities and consciousness from a point of semiotics. In conclusion, subculture is the exit of their escaping from the compelling inconsistency cause by the condition of people's life and the way for them to solve through cultural sublimating for themselves. People come up with distinctive style of music and fashion to express their resistant signifie in their symbolic way. In addition, a particular music trend has much to do with a contemporary fashion style. In the relationship between music and fashion, there have been the subtle mechanism to boost and influence and some crucial similarity each other to signify inner values of the times. This study lets us realize that fashion is not only a popular style of clothes, hair, etc. at a particular time or place but also a medium to communicate and to guarantee polysemous identity by functioning as a flexible tool to exchange contemporary sociocultural meanings.

복식은 실용적인 목적과 함께 신체를 아름답게 장식하여 인간의 미적 감각을 충족시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 복식의 미적요소를 표현하는데 있어 장식기법은 중요한 하나의 수단이 된다. 장식기법 중 개더는 완성된 하나의 조형물로 사용되는 것이 아니라 복식을 통해서만 실현될 수 있는 것이기 때문에 전체 복식 안에서 개더가 어떻게 표현되고 있는가에 대해 살펴볼 필요가 있다.(중략)
