Synthesis and Characterization of Pd(II) Complexes with Adenine, Uracil, Cytosine and Malonate Ligands (아데닌, 우라실, 시토신 및 말로네이트 배위자를 가진 팔라듐(II) 착물의 합성과 그 성질)

  • The antitumor properities of metal are not limited to Pt(II) complexes. Recently, it was reported that some Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes with sulfur and nitrogen ligands had potential antitumor reactivity. Pt(II) complexes is toxic drug for anticancer. Therefore, the complexes of Pd(II) with adenine, uracil, cytosine and malonate ligands are interesting for anticancer drug. We synthesized new palladium complexes containing nucleosides. The reactions of Pd(II) with adenine, uracil, cytosine and malonate ligands have been studied in aqueous solutions. The complexes isolated from these reactions have the following formulas; $[Pd(en)(C_5H_5N_5)_2](NO_3)_2,\;[Pd(en)(C_4H_3N_2O_2)Cl],\;[Pd(en)(C_3H_2O_4)]\;and\;[Pd(en)(C_4H_5N_3O)_2](NO_3)_2{\cdot}(C_4H_5N_3O)$. The compounds have been identified by elemental analysis, mass spectra, infrared spectra and electronic spectra.

  • Teleoperation of a robot arm working in hazardous environments has been studied in the field of defense and security. A master system is an essential part that plays an important role in the teleoperation. We developed a master system, which is an essential part in the teleoperation, so that it can operate the slave robot arm intuitively and has excellent mobility and portability compared to conventional master systems. The master system adopted a Stewart platform to minimize the size and weight, and the legs of the Stewart platform are composed of wires to improve the operation range of the system. The experimental validation of the developed master system is conducted with a commercial IMU, and the experimental results show that the proposed master system can perform reliable and dexterous teleoperation.

  • 현대기술의 발달로 인해 인간의 삶 중 많은 부분을 기계가 차지하고 있다. 특히 로봇공학 분야는 위험하거나 혹은 매우 정밀함을 요하는 일, 단순반복 등 인간이 기피하거나 하기 어려운 일을 대신 해줌으로서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 이에 우리는 우리 생활에 가장 깊숙히 들어와 있는 로봇팔분야에 대해 말하고자 한다. 현재 로봇팔은 산업용은 물론, 의료용, 재해용 등 다양한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 매우 정밀하고 정확한 작업을 위해 만들어져 있음에도 불구하고, 약간의 충격에도 이상이 생긴다거나, 기기의 이음세 부분의 잦은 회전으로 마모가 발생하게 되고 그에 따라 미세한 오차가 발생한다. 그런 상황을 방지하고자, 우리는 PSD(Position Sensitive Detecter)센서를 이용해 실시간으로 굽힘각을 측정 및 감시하여 보다 정확한 구동을 유도하려 한다. 이는 단순한 로봇팔만이 아닌 휴머노이드나 다른 회전을 이용하는 기기라면 어디든 쉽게 적용 할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Novel palladium(II) complexes of the type Pd(IBA-NH)(IBA-NH') and Pd(IBA-NR)2, where IBA-NH and IBA-NR (R: methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, n-butyl, benzyl) represent isonitrosobenzoylacetone imine and its N-alkyl derivatives respectively, have been prepared. The ir, nmr, and electronic spectra of the palladium(Ⅱ) complexes have been studied. It has been determined that the isonitroso group of IBA-NH coordinates to palladium through the oxygen to form 6-membered chelate ring and that of IBA-NH' coordinates to palladium through the nitrogen to form 5-membered ring in square-planar Pd(IBA-NH)(IBA-NH') and it also has been determined that the isonitroso groups of two IBA-NR coordinates to palladium through the nitrogen to form 5-membered rings in square-planar Pd$(IBA-NR)_2$. The coordination manner of the ligands is similar to that of isonitrosoacetylacetone imines obtained by Bose, et $al.^5$.

  • Palladium particles were synthesized with 1-buthyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate ([Bmim][$CF_3SO_3$]) as an effective solvent during the synthesis. The morphology of the particles was affected by the concentration of [Bmim][$CF_3SO_3$]. Furthermore, the palladium on carbon powder was prepared with various [Bmim][$CF_3SO_3$] concentrations and calcinations temperatures as a catalyst for hexafluoropropylene hydrogenation. Catalytic activity was varied by both conditions significantly. Under the identical condition, the catalyst prepared by the same mole ratio of [Bmim][$CF_3SO_3$] and palladium, and calcined at $500^{\circ}C$ was the most active in this reaction.

  • While more than 1,000 taxa in Staurastrum were found worldwide, in Korea only 119 taxa, of 68 species 42 varieties 9 forms, were reported so far. In this study, 23 taxa (19 species 4 varieties) of Staurastrum were collected from 15 freshwaters in Korea from Feb. through Nov., 2003. Among these taxa, 12 were newly recorded to Korea. Therefore, the total number of Staurastrum in Korea should be 131 taxa, of 77 species 45 varieties 9 forms, adding 12 newly found taxa. Most of the collected species were coincided with the characteristics previously described, but the sizes of 8 taxa including S. affine were smaller than those previously described. The 7 taxa including S. cerastesa have shown a little dissimilarity in the morphology of semicell and the decoration of cell wall.

  • In this paper, We propose the purpose the examine the physical factors that influence the success rate during the endotracheal intubation and to provide the basic data for effective intubation success. The subject of this study was 42 students in emergency rescue department who had completed the BLS Health Care-provider and a specialized airway maintenance course dealing with endotracheal intubation and it is a similar experimental study after the non-equivalence single group. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 Version was used. The study methods were measuring the grip fotce of subjects, the angle of arm during intubation tube, distance from manikin, palm length, etc. The results showed that there was a correlation between the time of successful endotracheal intubation and the physical characteristics. In particular, when performing endotracheal intubation, it was related to the angle of the arm and the execution time of the performer, and the narrower the angle of the arm, the shorter the execution time. The results of this study suggest that successful endotracheal intubation could be implemented if the operator tried to reduce the angle of the arm when performing endotracheal intubation, and through further research on various job groups, identify the possibility of clinical use will be necessary.

  • This article aims to summarize the scrap recycling status of gold, silver, platinum and palladium from foreign countries by courntires and industries in order to utilize the data for securing the raw materials of the domestic urbanmining industry. The amount of gold from scrap has shown a tendency to decrease in countries other than China, which is attributed to the large imports of scrap containing gold in China. The industry demand for gold is the highest in electronic products, but demand is decreasing. The amount of scrap recycling in silver has declined in other regions compared to those in Europe, indicating that the world's overall scrap recycling volume has declined. Production and demand from scrap of platinum and palladium are mostly for catalysts and have been steadily increasing until now. However, it is expected that the amount of waste catalysts in automobiles will decrease with the increase of electric vehicle use.

A Remote Control of 6 d.o.f. Robot Arm Based on 2D Vision Sensor (2D 영상센서 기반 6축 로봇 팔 원격제어)

  • In this paper, the algorithm was developed to recognize hand 3D position through 2D image sensor and implemented a system to remotely control the 6 d.o.f. robot arm by using it. The system consists of a camera that acquires hand position in 2D, a computer that controls robot arm that performs movement by hand position recognition. The image sensor recognizes the specific color of the glove putting on operator's hand and outputs the recognized range and position by including the color area of the glove as a shape of rectangle. We recognize the velocity vector of end effector and control the robot arm by the output data of the position and size of the detected rectangle. Through the several experiments using developed 6 axis robot, it was confirmed that the 6 d.o.f. robot arm remote control was successfully performed.

  • Jainpalkwangdae(慈仁八廣大) of Kyungsan area in Kyungbuk province was restored through over 50 years gap. This play basically has the structure of conflict - reconcillation, which is differentiated from a masque and a tightrope walking. The characters of this play are a nobleman, Malttuki (a servant), a legal wife and a second wife. Their personality is deviant from a existing Korean masque. This weird and artificial appearance may be a problem in the process of restoration. Otherwise, it might be a very different transmission type of masque. Therefore, we need to investigate why Jainpalkwangdae is different from a traditional masque.
