ZVS Phase Shift Full Bridge Converter Design with 2kW Output (2 kW 출력을 갖는 영전압 스위칭 위상 천이 풀 브리지 컨버터 설계)

  • It has been studied over the long time for the high efficiency and high power density of the power converter. It is possible to obtain higher power conversion efficiency and small volume by increasing switching frequency, however, the switching loss is also increased. The soft switching technique can overcome of the above deficiency. The design and analysis method for ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) Phase Shifte Full bridge converter is presented in this paper. The power transfer depends on the phase difference between two legs of the power stage and the maximum power conversion efficiency is achieved by the optimum leakage inductance value. The waveform of the current and voltage of the operational mode is analysed and the corresponding switch status is plotted as on/off status. A ZVS full bridge converter for a communication rectifier with 2kW output power is implemented and its performance are verified through PSIM software simulation and experimental results.

  • 최근 국내·외에서는 재래식 소류사량 채집기를 이용한 직접계측방법의 한계를 보완하기 위해 음향센서(하이드로폰)를 활용하여 소류사가 이동할 때 발생하는 충돌음 신호로부터 소류사량을 간접적으로 추정하는 방법이 개발 검토되고 있다. 이러한 방법은 하이드로폰에 계측된 음향신호의 특성 중 음향 펄스 수와 소류사량의 상관성을 해명하는 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 그러나 기존의 펄스 카운트 알고리즘은 원시신호에 대한 불충분한 노이즈 필터링 작업과 음향특성 중 진폭만을 고려하여 임계치를 설정하였기 때문에 운송되는 소류사량이 많을 경우 신호 파형의 중첩으로 인한 펄스 수의 과소평가, 감지 가능한 상한 입자 크기가 제한되는 등의 결점을 가지고 있다. 또한 대다수의 연구가 소류사량의 총량과 시계열적인 변화를 추정하는데 주안점을 두고 있어 소류사량의 입도분포를 추정하기 위한 연구사례는 매우 부족한 실정에 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 위와 같은 한계를 극복하기 위해 다양한 입경과 유속 조건을 고려한 단독입자 공급 실험을 통해 하이드로폰에서 계측되는 소류사 입경별 충돌음의 진폭과 특정 주파수대역을 기준으로 음향특성치를 효과적으로 필터링 할 수 있는 개선된 Band-Passs Method 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법의 검증을 위해 기존의 음향신호 필터링 방법(증폭 채널 방법, 임계치 설정 방법)과 비교·분석을 수행한 결과 제안한 방법이 기존의 필터링 방법보다 높은 소류사량 추정률을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 단일입경 연속공급 실험을 수행하여 입경별 소류사량 추정관계식을 산출하고 혼합입경의 입도분포 추정 가능성을 확인하였다. 연구수행의 최종단계로 혼합입경 소류사량 추정이 가능한 입경별 통합 소류사량 추정 알고리즘을 개발하고 실측 소류사량과의 비교·분석을 통해 알고리즘의 소류사량 추정 정밀도를 검증하였다.

The Study of Aliasing and Incidence Angle Dependence of Doppler Image on Humeral Artery (상완동맥 Doppler 영상의 입사각 의존성과 Aliasing에 관한 연구)

  • Among methods to eliminate aliasing effects, the method of increasing velocity scale gradually eliminated the phenomenon in which the direction of the blood flow appeared in reverse. It was done by increasing the velocity scale while maintaining other parameters in the same state. The method of setting the Doppler angle to $0^{\circ}$ did not show significant changes in the wave pattern of the spectrum according to the angle. In actual ultrasonography tests, more accurate tests are expected to be carried out by applying variations to the velocity scale under the considerations of speed, accuracy, and convenience of the examination. The results showed that blood flow velocity increases exponentially according to the Doppler Angle. When the angle goes over $70^{\circ}$, the velocity value increases to an unmeasurable state. This indicates that in blood flow velocity measurements, the blood flow velocity is very dependent on the Doppler Angle. It also shows that the error increases when the incidence angle to the direction of blood flow exceeds $60^{\circ}$, and when the angle exceeds $70^{\circ}$, the error becomes even greater. In addition, he experiment results showed that an angle below $60^{\circ}$ is appropriate and for blood flow velocity measurements in extremity vessels, the most appropriate Doppler Angle is from $45^{\circ}$ to $60^{\circ}$.

Change of arterial pulse wave characteristic by measurement posture and brachial blood pressure (측정 자세 및 상완 혈압에 의한 맥파 특성 변화)

  • In this study, pulse waves were measured at radial artery using non-invasive tonometric pulse pressure measurement system, SphygmoCor(AtCor, Australia), according to subject's posture. Then it was analysed whether the pulse wave parameters, which contain heart activities, change among three different postures (upright stand, sit, and supine). And it was also verified that the pulse wave parameters change among blood pressure level groups(hypotensive, normotensive, and hypertensive). As a results, posture effects were verified in time information of pulse wave rather than amplitude. But some parameters calculated by ratio of two amplitude, such as augmented index(AI) and ratio of central aortic pulse and radial artery pulse, showed significant difference according to postures. In post hoc test, time to the $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ pulse peak(P_$T_1$, and P_$T_2$), ED(ejection duration), and HR(heart rate) showed significant difference among posture groups with each other. In comparison of blood pressure groups, it was verified that the parameters related to amplitude of pulse wave showed significant difference rather than time information.

Effect of Electrical Stimulation using ABR and ECochG Analysis based on Jastreboff Tinnitus Mocel (Jastreboff 이명 모델에서의 ABR과 ECochG 신호분석을 통한 전기자극의 효과)

  • Many researches have been performed whether electrical stimulation could be used for diagnosis and treatment on the auditory system impairment. Unfortunately, there were no standard methods or theoretical background for choosing stimulus conditions because of the lack of understanding on the transmission of electrical stimulation through the auditory pathway. This research was conducted to observe the effect of electrical stimulation on the tinnitus-induced animals. Nine guniea pigs were used for the experment and divided into two groups, five animals for the experimental group(A) and four animals for the control group(B). Experimental conditions were divided into four steps, before tinnitus induction and 1, 6, 12 hours after tinnitus induction using salicylate based on the Jastreboff model. In each experimental condition, ABR and ECochG were obtained, and autocorrelation coefficients were calculated from normalized waveforms based on rms values. Sum of all the autocorrelation coefficients was extracted as a parameter to observe the changes between before and after the electrical stimulation. As a result, ABR parameter values were rapidly increased 6 hours after tinnitus induction, the gradually returned back to the initial state. On the other hand, when electrical stimulation was applied, parameter values did not change compared with the initial sate. Parameter values of ECochG showed that the effect of electrical stimulation appeared 12 hours after the tinnitus induction. It was concluded that an electrical stimulation to the tinnitus-induced model changes the correlation coefficients of ABR and ECochG waveforms.

Analysis on Change of Construction Type for the Non-national Forest Road in Jeollabuk-do (전라북도 민유임도의 시기별 공종변화에 관한 연구)

  • The study was intended to investigate the changes of construction types of 216 non-national forest roads, which were completed between 1989 and 2005 in Jeollabuk-do, by analyzing their drawing and specification. It was found that the mean length of yearly construction has been significantly reduced after the Policy of Green Forest Roads compared with before the policy. Soil cut-off of earth work was changed from bulldozer to a combination of bulldozer and excavator. Soils were transported by truck in all design, but establishment of spoil-bank was not designed at all. The design of slope revegetation works was developed from turfing and Bastard indigo planting to seed spray, combination of seed spray and belt-sodding, and mulching with coir net and rice straw. In design of the culvert, the average interval of culvert installation was reduced to 92m in step 3, the dimension of culverts was expanded to over 600 mm after step 2, and all drainpipes were corrugated steel pipes. The design length of concrete pavement increased from 40 m/km of step 1 to 240 m/km of step 3. Thanks to the enormously increased amount of concrete pavement, the stability and functionality of forest roads could be improved. Stone masonry was the main work drawn for slope stability, and concrete retaining wall and gabion have been drawn for same object since 1999.

  • 최근 환경규제가 강화되면서 친환경적인 전력생산 요구 등의 외부환경 변화에 따른 우리나라의 전력구조가 기존의 중압 집중형 발전을 탈피한 분산전원 발전에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 분산전원으로서의 전력생산은 공급의 안전성, 경쟁력 및 에너지의 지속성 등이 요구되어지는데, 재생에너지가 가지고 있는 에너지 지속성의 한계 및 설치의 제약성을 탈피할 수 있는 시스템으로 현재 연료전지시스템이 가장 근접해 있는 실정이다. 즉, 도시가스 인프라가 우수하고 인구조밀 지역이 많은 우리나라의 특성상 각 가정 및 건물에 쉽게 설치하고 공급의 안전성을 갖는 건물용 연료전지는 최근 가장 각광받고 있는 분산전원 시스템 중의 하나이다. 올해부터 모니터링사업의 일환으로 수용가에 설치 될 연료전지 시스템이 얼마나 안정적으로 전기와 열을 각 가정에 공급하고 시스템의 안전성을 확보하는 가는 건물용 연료전지의 분산전원으로서의 가능성 및 국민의 수용성을 증대시키는 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 연료전지시스템은 상용전력과 연계되어 있기 때문에 시스템의 안정성 뿐만 아니라 상용전력의 변화에 대응하여 안정적인 운전을 하는지에 대한 평가가 필수적이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 가정용 연료전지시스템의 성능 및 안전성평가의 일환으로 계통연계형 전력변환장치의 성능 및 안전성을 평가 하고자 한다. 연료전지 검사를 위한 계통연계형 전력변환장치의 시험평가 항목으로는 크게 정상특성성능시험, 보호기능성능시험, 과도응답특성성능시험 및 외부사고성능시험 등으로 나뉘어진다. 본 연구에서는 외부사고 성능시험 항목들인 출력측 단락시험, 계통전압 순간정전?순간강하시험 및 부하차단 시험 등을 통하여 외부사고에 대한 성능 및 안전성을 평가하였다. 외부사고 성능시험의 주 목적은 시스템의 이상 운전이 아니라 외부의 영향에 따른 시스템의 안전성 및 전력품질을 평가한다. 출력측 단락시험을 수행하기 위해서 전력변환장치를 정격 출력 전압, 정격 출력 주파수 및 정격 출력에서 운전한 후, 교류 전원장치는 단락 전류를 검출하여, 사고 발생 후 0.3초 이내에 개방하도록 설정하였다. 여기서, 단락 저항 Rsc를 정격 전류의 10배 이상에 해당하는 부하와 같은 값으로 설정하였다. 스위치 SWSC를 폐로하여 단락 상태를 만들며, 이 때 전력변환장치의 출력전류와 차단 또는 정지 시간을 측정하였다. 실험 결과에 대한 판정기준은 단락전류를 검출하여 0.5초 이내에 개폐기 개방 또는 게이트 블록 기능이 동작하여 시스템을 안정하게 정지시키고 시스템 어떤 부위에도 손상이 없어야 한다. 실험 결과 파워컨디셔너의 출력전류 및 차단 또는 정지된시간이 40ms로 나타났고, 출력전류의 파형도 매우 안정함을 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같이 모든 실험을 수행한 결과 외부사고에 대하여 시스템이 안전하게 정지하는 등 연료전지 시스템의 안전성을 확인하였다.

Usefulness of Direct Cortical Stimulation During Intraoperative Monitoring in Patients with Brain Tumor Near Motor Cortex: Case Report (운동피질영역 주변의 뇌종양 환자에서 수술 중 직접피질자극 검사의 유용성)

  • The aim of this study was to preserve the corticospinal tract during surgery and assess more accurately the motor performance in brain tumor patients around the motor cortex. TceMEP is not entirely reliable, even though there has been no change in waveforms due to a mixture of false positive and false negative signals. For a more detailed examination, DCS was employed to selectively stimulate the motor cortex. In both cases, the indications could find the region to which the cortex was responsible, and constantly check and examine the changes in amplitude, thereby preserving the motor pathway and performing surgery. On the other hand, patients who did not implement the DCS but did implement the TceMEP experienced a decrease in their postoperative motor performance. DCS is a very useful examination and it is a method that can reduce the post-surgery disorder that may occur in patients with the TceMEP in brain tumor surgery.

Seismic Amplitude and Frequency Characteristics of Gas hydrate Bearing Geologic Model (가스 하이드레이트 지층 모델의 탄성파 진폭 및 주파수 특성)

  • In gas hydrate survey, seismic amplitude and frequency characteristics play a very important role in determining whether gas hydrate exists. According to the variation of source frequency and scatterer size, we study seismic amplitude characteristics using elastic modeling applied at staggered grids. Generally speaking, scattering occurs in proportion to the square of source frequency and the scatterer volume, which has an effect on seismic amplitude. The higher source frequency is, the more scattering occurs in gas hydrate bearing zone. Therefore, BSR is hardly observed in high frequencies. On the other side, amplitude blanking zone and BSR is clearly observed in lower frequencies although the resolution is poor as a whole. Seismic reflections traveling through free-gas layer below gas hydrate bearing zone decay so severely a high frequency component that a low frequency term is dominant. Amplitude anomaly of BSR result from high acoustic impedance contrast due to free-gas, which is a very crucial factor to estimate gas hydrate bearing zone. Seismic frequency analysis is carried out using wavelet transform method that frequency component could be decomposed with time variation. In application of wavelet transform to the seismic physical experiments data, we can observe that reflections traveling through air layer, which corresponds to the free-gas layer, decay a high frequency component.

Arrhythmia Classification based on Binary Coding using QRS Feature Variability (QRS 특징점 변화에 따른 바이너리 코딩 기반의 부정맥 분류)

  • Previous works for detecting arrhythmia have mostly used nonlinear method such as artificial neural network, fuzzy theory, support vector machine to increase classification accuracy. Most methods require accurate detection of P-QRS-T point, higher computational cost and larger processing time. But it is difficult to detect the P and T wave signal because of person's individual difference. Therefore it is necessary to design efficient algorithm that classifies different arrhythmia in realtime and decreases computational cost by extrating minimal feature. In this paper, we propose arrhythmia detection based on binary coding using QRS feature varibility. For this purpose, we detected R wave, RR interval, QRS width from noise-free ECG signal through the preprocessing method. Also, we classified arrhythmia in realtime by converting threshold variability of feature to binary code. PVC, PAC, Normal, BBB, Paced beat classification is evaluated by using 39 record of MIT-BIH arrhythmia database. The achieved scores indicate the average of 97.18%, 94.14%, 99.83%, 92.77%, 97.48% in PVC, PAC, Normal, BBB, Paced beat classification.
