For the public library reading revitalization in this study it is to review program development examples which is differentiated by own library from the existing reading education and reading program. Based on the specialized program examples it intended suggesting a method of reading revitalization, after reviewing enlarged specialized function in the existing public library function, and analyzing related the reading activity status concerning with Seoul city public library, 'One Library One Book Reading' activity and U. S. A public library. Also, this study suggested future public library reading revitalization through the specialized quality service program development and construction related reading.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of specialized services, user experience, and the overall satisfaction for the specialized library users, and based on the ISA method, compare the specialized theme data, specialized service place, specialized program, specialized theme area facilities and environment, and derive issues of the specialized library operation and improvement measures. Consequently, first, when selecting the theme of the specialized library, the theme ought to be selected to reflect the regional characteristics, history and demographics of the library, and the demand survey of the local residents and library users would need to be considered. Second, when planning the specialized program, the specialized library ought to consider operating differentiated programs based on the program operator who has the expertise to improve the quality of the program. Furthermore, sufficient theme related books and space must be secured, and moreover, the program must be planned in connection with the book collection. Third, the specialized library should be so structured as to ensure that the space may serve specialized themes provided by the library in order to provide specialized collections, services, and information services for the users. In addition, reflecting the needs of the users in designing the space must be considered.

This study identified the current status and degree of awareness of specialized libraries through a survey of public library employees in relation to specialized library projects supported and promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and local governments and sought policy directions to revitalize specialized libraries in the future. As a result of the analysis, local (region) was the most common specialized topic, but there were many places that selected topics according to the interest of policymakers. In the case of the data, less than 5% of the total books are specialized, and specialized subject-related programs account for more than 20% of the total library programs, providing an average of three to four programs, and operating personnel generally do not deploy dedicated librarians. When specialized topics meet regional characteristics, when there are separate buildings or specialized rooms, there are two to three dedicated librarians, at least 15% of specialized books, and more than five to six programs, the user's awareness and satisfaction were higher. In order to revitalize specialized libraries, it is necessary to secure additional books, organize differentiated programs, arrange exclusive librarians, provide subject-specialized education through the Korea Library Association and regional representative libraries, develop and distribute specialized and target service manuals, and secure a sufficient budget.

This study was carried out on specialized library librarians to investigate the status and overall satisfaction of specialized services and to compare the degree of importance and satisfaction of specialized subject data, specialized service places, specialization programs, specialized subject area facilities and environment based on ISA technique in order to derive problems and improvement measures for the operation of specialized libraries. As results, first, it was found that a specialized library subject should be selected based on the characteristics, history, and resources of the library location as well as based on the demand survey of the local residents and users. Second, based on the appropriate program type of specialized subject and the results from users' demand surveys, specialized libraries should develop different types of experience-type, lecture-type, view-type and the likes. Third, specialized library space types can be divided into integrated type, independent-in-integration type, and independent type. Even though it is most ideal to provide independently specialized space, the space must be constructed considering the circumstances and subject of specialization of each library. Fourth, specialized libraries should have at least one dedicated specialist in the corresponding subject. Dedicated specialists should provide lending and reference services related to the specialization such as tidying, browsing, reading and operating specialized programs. And a dedicated specialist must be an expert in the specialized subject and also a librarian who is responsible of the general library operation.

In this study, development directions for smooth introduction of transferring non-specialized libraries to specialized libraries are suggested based on the analysis conducted on non-specialized library librarians and users to investigate and analyze the comparative requirements for specializing libraries, specialization topics, demand for spaces and programs for specialization and view of important factors of each area when operating specialized libraries in future. As a result, first, when introducing a specialized library, it is necessary to derive a specialized topic that can identify and provide the characteristics of the region and the status of existing library. And a demand analysis. Based on this, the subject should be selected through the demand survey of the local residents. Second, from the stand point of targeted subjects of specialized service, it is necessary to provide tailored services by understanding the service range for each age group based on local population distribution and library user analysis. Third, experience-type, lecture-type and view-type can be suggested for specialized programs, considering the characteristics of the specialized subject field. It is ideal to operate combination of the three based on the subject filed details. Also, the characteristics of the subject and the types of program should be considered for specialized spaces. Finally, in order to systematically operate and promote specialized libraries, allocating dedicated personnel, linking with other institutions and strategies of promotion and marketing should be considered.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze actual cases of specialized libraries which are increasing in number due to the influence of the local government policy and the specialization-oriented social atmosphere and to explore the development direction of specialized libraries in the future. In order to do that, the distributions, collections, facilities, professional manpower, programs, and services of the libraries providing specialized services were investigated and analyzed. A total of 55 libraries were analyzed and the implications and proposed policy directions based on the analysis are as follows. First, when selecting a specialized subject, the library should consider the local resources, local identity, local brands and demand of local residents. Second, specialized collections should be related to the specialized topic, and the number of specialized collections should be more than 10,000, but the proportion of specialized collections compared to the total collections should also be considered. Third, the design of space should consider the specialized subject, taking into account that required spaces and types are different depending on the type of specialized subject. Fourth, Specialized libraries should have specialists from the specialized area and the role of universities and librarian education institutes seem to be critical for cultivating specialized personnel. Fifth, the program type implemented by specialized libraries should be appropriately selected and operated from the program types of view-type, event-type, lecture-tepe, experience-type and contest-type, based on the specialized subject.

축산물품질평가원은 세종시에 위치한 본원과 전국 10개 권역에 위치한 지원으로 구성되어 있다. 10개의 각 지원에서는 그 지역만의 특화사업을 추진 중에 있다. 지원 특화사업 중 충북지원 특화사업인 "ONE-STOP 한우 아카데미"를 첫 번째로 소개하고자 한다. "ONE-STOP 한우 아카데미"는 축평원 충북지원 주관으로 충북농업기술원 및 농협 음성축산물공판장 3개 기관이 업무협익멸 통해 전국의 한우 생산자, 소비자단체 및 대학생을 대상으로 각 기관 전문분야를 하루에 걸쳐 ONE-STOP으로 실시하는 한우 고급육 종합교육과정으로써 올 한해 4월부터 10월까지 총 22회에 걸쳐 실시하는 교육 홍보 프로그램이다.

This is an environmental analysis study for discovering specialized local sports tourism and aims to provide implications for the development of sports tourism industry in the Chuncheon region by analyzing the current status of domestic and overseas sports tourism and presenting overseas cases of specialized regional sports tourism. Therefore, through SWOT analysis and secondary data survey, implications for the development direction according to facilities, programs, and public relations and marketing were derived. Sports tourism contributes to vitalization of local economy by converging with local tourism centering on sports participation or viewing. Thus, it must be organized with differentiated products taking into account the characteristics of the area. An investigation of the main components of domestic and overseas sports tourism shows that mega sports events or specialized local leisure sports are connected to tourism resources for commercialization. In Korea, 3 to 4 local areas are discovered and supported annually through the specialized local sports tourism promotion program. This study suggests a development plan by evaluating and analyzing the performance of the Chuncheon Spo-Tour program. In terms of facility, it is necessary to construct accommodation facilities that harmonize with the natural environment, develop new programs connected to Songam Sports Town, and reinforce existing equipment. In terms of program, it is necessary to develop canoe/kayak water courses utilizing Uiam-Lake, train professionals to operate programs, and develop programs that take into consideration seasonal characteristics as well as the level of each participants. In terms of PR/marketing, it is important to build competitiveness by using ICT, improving public awareness of the sites, and adopting reasonable pricing policies. The development of specialized local sports tourism products through remedies and efforts will contribute to vitalization of local economy.

The purpose of this study is to observe whether the specialized quality programs of senior welfare centers actually help service users and meet their needs. In order to find out, we have utilized three different research methods. First, an in-depth interview was generated among the service users of senior welfare centers. Second, the specialized quality program in senior welfare centers was analyzed. Third, a focused group interview among the senior welfare experts was conducted. Based on the results of this study, they suggest four practical proposals. First is to enhancing programs of senior welfare centers based on the service users' rights. Second is to providing high-class services by developing and transforming the 'elderly culture.' Third is to converting the existing programs to make associations with their local communities. Last is to building a network as a hub to communicate and sharing outstanding programs within senior welfare centers.

The purpose of this study is to select a specialized topic that meets the needs of the local contents and the local people, based on this, the study develops practical guidelines for operating specialized libraries. For this purpose, forty-three libraries in domestic and foreign were selected to derive their implications by surveying the specialized libraries building process, regional characteristics, specialized books, budget, personnel, network, facilities, environment, programs, and publicity. Based on the suggestions reached, we proposed four stages of operation guidelines: the preparation stage for establishing a system to support specialized services and selecting regional specific topics, the stage for the establishment of the library environment in order to serve the selected specialized subjects, the operational stage of planning and providing information complex cultural services related to specialized subjects, and the diffusion stage that communicates with external institutions of the library for upgrading and expanding services.
