The purpose of this study is to analyze the compensation law for Special Mission Executors enacted to compensate for sacrifices for the state based on the policy framework proposed by Gilbert and Terrell and to present the limitations and development directions of the compensation policy. In particular, this study presents the characteristics of each dimension of the policy through the bases of social allocation, the types of social provisions, the strategies for the delivery, and the ways to finance. Through the analysis, We deduce problems of the compensation law for Special Mission Executors. Representative limitations of the compensation policy can be summarized as follows. Due to extreme selectivism, the limitations are the narrow selection criteria of the targets, the benefits which are not out of proportional to contributions, delayed benefits and the decrease in the size of public resources. These limitations suggest that the compensation policy for Special Mission Executors does not contain the significance of the Patriots and Veterans Affairs Policy. The value the Patriots and Veterans Affairs can be considered as a means for repaying the contributions who sacrificed for the nation. Therefore, the government needs to make efforts to develop a policy with the true significance of the Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

Compared with past, helicopters have remarkably high level of safety and accidents due to mechanical defects are decreased about 15%. Most of their duties, however, are to commit at duty area which is hard to access. Because of them, collision probability is high and also has relatively higher accident rates than other aircraft with special mission. A result of analysis is that accident rate is relative high with prevention of disasters, putting out a fire and crop-dusting missions under 500ft. In addition, most of accidents are related with human factors. According to this, it is required to pilots who carry these mission that safety education and detailed analysis about their mission.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the degrees of life quality, anger expression and suicidal ideation of Korean special mission national merit(Performer), and to identify the effects of life quality and anger expression on suicidal ideation of the subjects. The general characteristics as well as life quality, anger expression and suicidal ideation of 362 Korean veterans were collected from March 2016 to May 2016, and the collected data were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 Statistics Program. The result showed that life quality was inversely correlated with anger expression(r=-.151, p<.001) and suicidal ideation(r=-.539, p<.001), and anger expression was positively correlated with suicidal ideation(r=.601, p<.001). Life quality and anger expression were significant predictors of suicidal ideation with 42.9% explanatory power. In order to prevent the suicide of the Korean special mission national merit(Performer), it is necessary to develop a national adaptation program to improve the life quality and to develop an effective anger control education program considering the characteristics of them.

The Multi-Mission Unmanned Surface Vehicle(MMUSV), which is manufactured using glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(FRP) material, is designed to perform a surveillance and reconnaissance on the sea. Various navigation sensors, such as RADAR, RIDAR, camera, are mounted on a mast to perform an autonomous navigation. And a dummy gun is mounted on the deck of the MMUSV for a target tracking and disposal. It is necessary to analyze a strength for structures mounted on the deck because the MMUSV performs missions under a severe sea state. In this paper, a strength analysis of the mast structure is performed on static loads and lateral external loads to verify an adequacy of the designed mast through a series of simulations. Based on the results of captive model tests, a strength analysis for a heave motion of the mast structure is conducted using a simulation tool. Also a simulation and fatigue test for a mounting part between the MMUSV and the dummy gun are performed using a specimen. The simulation and test results are represented that a structure of the mast and mounting part of the dummy gun are appropriately designed.he impact amount are performed through simulation and experiments.

Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) are developed to be operated with two kinds of power source (Diesel Engine and Electric Motor with Rechargeable High Voltage Battery Pack). HEVs for military vehicle require high reliability to provide stable powers under serious environment such as vibration and shock. To ensure normal operation of battery pack under serious environment such as vibration and shock, the high voltage battery pack needs to have appropriate dynamic characteristics. This paper presents a design procedure for high voltage battery pack with such characteristics. An isolator design is proposed to reduce vibration and shock. Associated random vibration and shock response of the high voltage battery pack are simulated under conditions suggested by MIL specifications. Its dynamic characteristics and vibration and shock responses are validated with experiments.

Special security guards working at nuclear power plants, one of the country's major facilities, serve as human protection to safeguard from threats to nuclear facilities and nuclear materials. The purpose of this study was to develop a physical fitness program for fitness management that is essential for the completion of missions of special guards. This program was designed to prepare the physical fitness test proposed by Jeong et al. (2019). Researchers conducted literature analysis, research meetings, expert meetings and pretests, and developed a 90-minute physical fitness program for 6 weeks, 3 times a week. In order to verify the effectiveness of the developed physical fitness program, the experiment was conducted on 29 subjects(control group: 15, exercise group:14). Specifically, a six-week physical fitness program was conducted for exercise groups, and the fitness test for a special security guard was conducted for all subjects before and after the experiment. As a result, it was found that the physical fitness program was effective in improving the performance of 20m shuttle run, leg tuck, 20m sprint & carry, and medicine ball back throw. Until recently, problems of neglecting fitness management of security guards have been pointed out. It is expected that the physical fitness program proposed by this study will be a practical alternative for security guards' fitness management.

Special security guards play the role to safely operate and manage nuclear power plants from unintended internal and external threats. Physical fitness management of special security guards is one of the most important factors for improving and maintaining the level of physical protection. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze the physical fitness factor and physical fitness level required for mission accomplishment through job analysis of special security guards. The special security guards of Nuclear Power Plant in Korea were performing 7 jobs, 26 duties, 159 tasks. In order to accomplish theses tasks, the following physical fitness were required: muscle strength and muscle endurance of the hand, upper limb, lower limb and core, quickness, agility and Cardio function. The duties that require a lot of physical fitness were in the order of conducting arrest and self-defense, conducting unarmed defensive tactics, demonstrating proficiency with semiautomatic rifle, using protective equipment, performing emergency plan and defensive strategy, etc. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data necessary for establishing guidelines for fitness qualification and training of special security guards in the future and contribute to enhancement of physical protection of nuclear power plants.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 상황인지 능력을 가진 지능적 컴퓨팅 개체들 중 사람에게 의존적이지 않고 독립적으로 행동할 수 있는 개체는 유비쿼터스 로봇으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 로봇은 최근 상호협력 함으로서 보다 최적화된 서비스를 제공하는 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 또한 다수의 로봇이 포함된 환경일 때는 특정한 작업을 수행하기 위하여 특정 로봇의 선별에 관한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 서로 다른 기능과 구조를 가지고 있는 지능형 로봇들이 협력하여 특수한 상황이나 임무를 그룹으로 대처할 수 있는 로봇 그룹핑을 설계하고 이를 구현한 결과에 대하여 기술한다. 다수의 로봇 중에서 특정 임무수행을 위한 로봇의 선별 알고리즘은 Entropy를 이용하여 결정 트리를 생성하였다. 또한 Grouping을 위한 Group Layer를 설계하여 구현하였다.
