  • 툴북2 Assistant 7.0은 교육용 멀티미디어 프로그램을 제작할 수 있는 저작도구이다. 툴북에는 두 가지 종류의 버전이 있다. 하나는 인스트럭터라는 전문가 용 풀 버전이고, 다른 하나는 어시스턴트 라는 초보자용 라이트 버전이다. 인스트럭터 버전은 기본적으로 어시스턴트 버전의 모든 기능을 포함하고 있으며, 인스트럭터 버전의 오픈 스크립트 언어 코딩 기능을 뺀것이 바로 어시스턴트 버전이라고 생각하면 된다.

A Convergent Investigation on the Air flow in Driving According to a Cargo Container and the Wind Deflector (트럭 화물칸 및 윈드 디플렉터에 따른 운행중 공기흐름에 대한 융합 연구)

  • In this study, the freight vehicles were modelled and the flow analysis on the existence or non-existence of a cargo container and the wind deflector were carried out. Based on the driving speed of 100 km/hr, at all models A, B and C, the highest flow rate was shown between 58 m/s and 59 m/s at the top of the model shape. All models A, B and C showed the highest pressure of air resistance between 652Pa and 671Pa at the front of the model geometry. The maximum pressure of model A is considered to be the smallest, with the least flow resistance to speed compared to models B and C. Therefore, it can be seen that model A has an advantageous condition for air resistance in terms of fuel costs. Unlike model B which causes the rapid flow resistance at the cargo compartment, model C can be found to flow a little more smoothly on the streamlined wind deflector. So, the flow air at a streamlined shape is considered to be more advantageous in terms of air resistance than at angular shape. By applying the research analysis result on the air flow in driving according to a cargo container and the wind deflector, it is seen that this study is adequate at the practical efficient design and aesthetic convergence.

Target Identification Algorithm Using Fractal Dimension on Millimeter-Wave Seeker (프랙탈 차원을 이용한 밀리미터파 탐색기 표적인식 알고리즘 연구)

  • Many studies have been conducted on the accurate detection and identification of targets from ground clutter, in order to improve the accuracy rate of land guided weapons. Due to the variety and complicated characteristics of the ground clutter signal compared to the target, an active target identification technique is needed. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to identify targets and divide them into different types by extracting the unique characteristics of the target through fractal dimension calculation with the characteristics of self-similarity. In the simulation using the algorithm, the probabilities of identifying the tank and truck were 100 % and 98.89 %, respectively, and the type of the target could be identified with a probability of 98 % or more.

  • There wasn't very successful practice cases for the quantity take-off based on the CAD system since the CAD system is used in the construction industry more than 20 years in Korea. It was also not easy to use 3D CAD system in design management and cost management in the construction industry although 3D CAD system is very successful in the manufacturing industry for those areas recently. It is important to construct 3D libraries and to supply those libraries for the designers in time. Architectural work is a kind of creative work. So, Architects like to create their own model. Unlike the manufacturing industry, 3D CAD system can not be survived in the construction industry without new 3D objects supply in the right time. Moreover, the estimation system for 3D must support the schematic design phase, detailed design phase and construction design phase. The product called "Constructor" of Graphisoft consist of modeller, estimator and scheduler based on 3D model. We applied the system to a real project and compared the estimation result and we made a very successful case study.
