Real-time People Occupancy Detection by Camera Vision Sensor (카메라 비전 센서를 활용하는 실시간 사람 점유 검출)

  • Occupancy sensors installed in buildings and households turn off the light if the space is vacant. Currently PIR (pyroelectric infra-red) motion sensors have been utilized. Recently, the researches using camera sensors have been carried out in order to overcome the demerit of PIR that can not detect static people. If the tradeoff of cost and performance is satisfied, the camera sensors are expected to replace the current PIRs. In this paper, we propose vision sensor-based occupancy detection being composed of tracking, recognition and detection. Our softeware is designed to meet the real-time processing. In experiments, 14.5fps is achieved at 15fps USB input. Also, the detection accuracy reached 82.0%.

  • In this paper, we study on adaptation of the kalman filter for FDS(fishery detection system) to protect and aquaculture farms. The FDS will detect a robbing vessel with real time and a variance of the position of fishing fields. The kalman filter for tracking system that can be detect and track the approaching object without mounting F-AIS(Fishery Automatic Identification System) is applied. Some simulation results for the acceleration object with white noise is showed and the possibility of adaptation for tracking system is discussed.

The Effect of Contaminants on Tracking Aging in Polymer Insulating Materials (고분자 절연재료의 트랙킹 열화에 미치는 오손액의 영향)

  • Some polymer materials including epoxy resin are being instead of porcelain for outdoor insulating materials such as insulators bushings cable terminators and surge arrester housing. And the largest problem to be overcomed is the tracking and erosion of the outdoor polymer material brought about by dry band arcing during prolonged exposure to contaminations. In this paper the effect of surface tension wettability flow rate of contaminants with varying surfactant content and frequency of applied voltage on the tracking breakdown of epoxy insulating materials were investigated. As the flow rate of contaminant is increased the surface resistivity is decreased and the leakage current is increased the time to tracking breakdown is decreased. It is found that time to tracking breakdown depends on the surface tension of contaminant that is difference of wettability. And as the frequency of applied voltage is increased time to tracking breakdown decreased.

A Robust Track-following Control for the Stable Coarse Seek (안정적인 조동 검색을 위한 강인 트랙 추종 제어)

  • In this paper, we provide a robust track-following controller design method for the stable coarse seek control. Due to the inaccurate velocity control during a coarse seek, the shake of fine actuator is generated and thus a gain-up track-following control is required to complete stably the coarse seek. To this end, a loop gain adjustment algorithm is introduced to estimate accurately the shake of fine actuator. A weighting function can be properly selected from a minimum tracking gain-up open-loop gain, calculated from the estimated shake quantity of fine actuator. A robust tracking gain-up controller is designed by considering a robust $H_{\infty}$ control problem using the weighting function. The proposed design method is applied to the coarse seek control system of an optical rewritable drive and is evaluated through the experimental results.

  • In this paper, the vibration for actuators having lens module, confined to lateral and torsional directions of suspensions, is described by mathematically analyzing its suspension configuration and motion. In order to prove the accuracy of this result, it is compared to a finite element analysis. Also it is shown that modal frequencies can be modified by changing design parameters in mathematical motion expressions.

  • This paper is a study to dectect the tracking owing to deterioration of indoor wiring, and to prevent the electrical fire. After analysing the harmonics of waveshapes in load current and tracking current by FFT, a method of identifying the tracking was developed by using neural network. Fluoscent lamp, witch was mostly used in indoor, was chosen as the load used in this study. When the learning number in neural network was more then 30,000 times, an excellent neural net-work which could correctly identify the tracking was established. Therefore, the result of this study can be utilized as a basic material in various measuring instruments, such as an hotline inslation tester, earth tester in vehicles, and tracking fire alarm device, witch can detect the tracking under the condition of hotline.

  • 선박에서 AIS 탑재가 확대는 해상에서의 전산 시스템 기술 발전에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. AIS는 VTS가 선박의 식별, 트랙킹, 모니터링과 같은 일반적으로 알려진 기능을 제공하는 것뿐만 아니라 해상 교통 연구, 통계 분석, 학술 연구에 유용한 실시간 정보를 제공하기도 한다. 그러나 AIS 관측 자료의 신속한 축적은 이루어지고 있지만 VTS 플랫폼 측면에서 선박 위치 자료를 수집하고 분석하는데 한계가 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 데이터 마이닝 기술과 GIS기술을 적용하여 AIS 자료를 분석하고자 한다. 이것은 해상 교통 관리 분야에 GIS 분석, 데이터베이스 관리 체계, 데이터 웨어하우징, 데이터 마이닝과 같은 잠재된 가치 정보를 도출하는 기술과 통합하는 시도이다. 현재 몇가지 제약사항이 있지만, 향후 VTS 관제 업무에 유용한 자원을 제공하는 새로운 방안이 될 것이다.

  • In optical disc system, tracking actuator is consisted of coarse actuator and fine tracking actuator. This, two-stage actuator, requires many devices and two servos for large stroke and precisional displacement. These complicate configuration increases moving mass. So dynamic characteristics become bad, that is, sensitivity of high frequency gain decrease. In this paper, frequency performance is willing to be better as so one dimensional tracking actuator is designed. In order to investigate the performance of the proposed tracking actuator, the Bode diagram is plotted with Dynamic analyzer and friction characteristic is explained. Finally, tracking error performance is ins investigated into 0.1 .mu.m resolution with MATLAB simulation.

  • 대부분의 인터넷 사용자들은 자신도 모르는 사이에 쿠키의 사용을 허용하고 있다. 또한 쿠키를 사용함으로써 인터넷 속도가 빨라진다는 사실도 아울러 간과하고 있다. 그리고 인터넷을 떠도는 모든 페이지는 HTML 문서로 표현된다. 따라서 누구나 웹 사이트의 소스에 쉽게 접근하여 트랙킹이나 해킹의 도구로써 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문은 필연적으로 사용하게 되는 쿠키를 키로 하여 HTML 문서의 암호화를 제안한다. 특히 웹 서버와 클라이언트 환경으로 한정하여 웹 서버가 클라이언트에게 암호화된 HTML 문서를 전송함으로써 제 3자로 하여금 클라이언트의 액티비티가 전혀 노출되지 않도록 한다.

A Tracking Gain-Up Controller Design for Controlling the Shake of Actuator (엑츄에이터 흔들림 제어를 위한 트랙킹 Gain-Up 제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, we deal with a tracking gain-up controller design problem to control effectively the shake of tracking actuator after a track seek. A minimum tracking gain-up open-loop gain can be calculated by estimating the shake of tracking actuator and a desired transient specification is considered to diminish effectively the shake of actuator. A tracking gain-up controller is designed by considering a robust $H_{\infty}$ control problem with a regional stability constraint. The proposed tracking gain-up controller design method is applied to the track-following system of a DVD recording device and is evaluated through the experimental results.
