외부가압 공기베어링의 동적 특성에 관한 해석

  • 최근 전자 및 광학분야에 있어서의 눈부신 발전은 비구면 가공기나 초정밀 연삭기와 같은 초정밀 가공기계의 개발과 실용화에 힘입은 바 크다. 이러한 초정밀 가공기의 성능을 좌우하는 핵심요소로서 주축계를 들 수 있으며, 비교적 소형 경량의 공작물을 가공하는 기계의 주축용 베어링으로는 오일 베어링을 대신하여 공기베어링이 점차 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 점급기원의 가정하에 직접수치해법을 사용하는 해석 프로그램을 작성하여, 무차원화된 설게 변수들에 대한 외부가압 공기베어링의 정$\cdot$동특성수들을 구하고, 여기서 구해진 베어링의 정$\cdot$동특성수를 사용하여 베어리으이 공기막 반력을 계산한 후, 축중심 궤적의 비선형 해석을 수행함으로써 주축 회전 정도를 예측하고자 한다.

  • The basic concept of 'tooth profile modification' is to change a part of the involute profile to reduce the load in that area and appropriate profile modifications can help gears to run quietly and resist scoring, pitting and tooth breakage. In this study, the modification of tooth profile to make a smooth transmission of the normal loads in spur gears has been developed. The modified tooth profile has been determined by the total deflection at contact points. We use the AGMA Standard to design basic gear profile, We also developed a gear design Program using tooth profile modification

  • 회전축계의 강제진동으로 가장 전형적이고 공업상 중요한 것은 넓은 의미로서 불평형 진동이다. 불평형은 회전체의 제작상 피할 수 없으며 진동이 전혀 문제가 되지 않는 정도로 제작하는 것은 경제적인 면에서도 불가능하다. 지금까지 미끄럼 베어링으로 지지된 회전축계의 불평형 응답 특성에 대하여는 여러 연구자에 의해 연구가 진행되고 있다. 수중에서 운전되는 펌프는 물의 감쇠작용 때문에 축진동 문제는 적다고 생각되어 펌프의 축진동에 관한 보고는 별로 없다. Black은 펌프의 축진동을 연구하여, 시일부분이 축진동 응답에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 보였다. 그러나 시일형상에 따른 유체력 평가가 충분히 구명되지 않았기 때문에 환상 시일부분의 틈새,폭경비 및 압력차 등이 펌프진동에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는가가 충분히 검토 되어 있지않다. 이에 저자는 펌프용 시일의 유체력에 의한 진동 특성에 관한 일련의 연구를 진행하여 각종 시일의 유체력을 해석하였고, 이 유체력이 회전축계의 안정성에 미치는 영향을 검토하였으며 범용 안정성해석 프로그램을 개발하였다.

  • 최근 전자 및 광학 분야에 있어서의 눈부신 발전은 다면경 가공기나 초정밀 연삭기와 같은 초정밀 가공기계의 개발과 실용화에 힘입은 바 크다. 이러한 초정밀 가공기의 성능을 좌우하는 핵심 요소로서 추축계를 들수 있으며, 비교적 소형 경량의 공박물을 가공하는 기계의 주축용 베어링으로는 오일 베어링을 대신하여 공기 베어링이 점차 널리 사용되고 있다. 이러한 가공기에 많이 사용되는 외부 가압 공기 베어링은 동압 공기 베어링과는 달리, 외부에서 가압된 압축공기에 의하여 공기막을 형성하므로, 시동과 정지시 마멸이 없고 저속에서도 비교적 높은 하중 지지력을 얻을 수 있으며, 오일 베어링과 비교하여서는 발열이 적고 윤활제의 유출에 의한 오염의 위험이 없다는 특성외에 공기막에 의한 평균화 효과에 의하여 고정도의 운전이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 점급기원의 가정하게 직접 수치해법을 사용하는 해석 프로그램을 작성하여, 무차원화된 설계 변수들에 대한 외부가압 공기베어링의 정$\cdot$동특성수들을 구하고자 한다.

A Study on Effects of Oil Aeration Level on Engine Lubrication System by using Computer Program (컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용한 엔진오일 내 공기함량 변화가 엔진윤활시스템에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • A Parametric study based on a computer analysis of the lubrication system of a four-cylinder gasoline engine is illustrated. Through the parametric study, the effects of various aeration levels on the change of oil flow rate and pressure are investigated. Also, at high oil temperature and low engine speed, the effect of oil aeration level on oil flow characteristics in lubrication system is investigated. The illustrated results may give to designers the guide lines of oil aeration level for the safe design of engine lubrication systems in terms of minimum pressure at crank oil bore.

Two dimensional analysis between the performance and the sensitivity of methylnitroimidazole derivatives (메틸나이트로이미다졸 유도체의 성능-감도 이차원적 분석)

  • Two-dimensional analysis between the explosive performance and the impact sensitivity for methylnitroimidazole derivatives was performed to understand where these new energetic molecules could be utilized. The explosive performance was analyzed with the Cheetah program, while the impact sensitivity was predicted using neural network analysis. Successive nitration of methylimidazole made the molecule more sensitive, but methyltrinitroimidzole appeared to have a relatively good safety characteristic. We recently developed a novel method to analyze the potential usage of new energetic molecules using a two-dimensional chart, where the explosive performance and the impact sensitivity were located on the X-axis and Y-axis, respectively. An analysis of a two-dimensional plot between the performance and the sensitivity indicated that methyldinitroimidazole would be useful for insensitive explosive formulations, while methyltrinitroimidazole was forecasted for use as an ingredient for high explosive formulations.

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to develop and evaluate the effect of a metabolic syndrome prevention program using mobile application for university students. Methods: A pretest-posttest design with content analysis as a triangulation method was used. The participants were 49 university students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, t-test and Fisher's exact test with the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: The application consisted of six main menus as follows: 'basic education', 'nutrition education', 'exercise education', 'meal diary', 'exercise checkup', and 'tips'. The experimental group had higher recognition about metabolic syndrome prevention than the control group (F=7.919, p=.007). Understanding of metabolic syndrome among participants was mostly related to chronic diseases such as obesity, hypertension and diabetes in relation to the importance of eating habits and exercising. Conclusion: The results indicate that metabolic syndrome prevention education using mobile application is necessary and would be useful for university students.

Predictive analysis on explosive performance of methylnitroimidzole derivatives (메틸나이트로이미다졸 유도체의 화약성능 예측분석)

  • Chemical properties such as heat of formation and density of methylnitroimidazole derivatives were predicted and analyzed by using density functional theory (DFT). Successive addition of energetic nitro groups into an imidazole ring increases both the heat of formation and the density. Using the chemical property values computed by DFT, explosive performance was analyzed with the Cheetah program, and compared with those of TNT, RDX, and HMX, which are currently used widely in military systems. When both C-J pressure and detonation velocity were used as explosive performance, methyldinitroimidazole derivatives show better performance than TNT, while methyltrinitroimidzole is almost close to RDX. Since methylnitroimidazole derivatives have a good merit, i.e. low melting point for melt loading, they are forecasted to be used widely in various military and civilian application.

  • Due to wide usage of smartphones and mobile internet, mobile devices are used in various fields such as sending SMS, participating SNS, retrieving information and the number of users taking advantage of them are growing. The keypads of a mobile device are relatively smaller than those of desktop computers. Thus, the user has a difficulty in input sentences quickly and correctly. In this study, we introduce some string recommendation and modification techniques which can be used for helping a user input in mobile devices quickly and correctly. We describe a TRIE dictionary and n-gram language model which are the main technologies of the keyword recommendation applied to the online search engines.

Human Tracking and Body Silhouette Extraction System for Humanoid Robot (휴머노이드 로봇을 위한 사람 검출, 추적 및 실루엣 추출 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a new integrated computer vision system designed to track multiple human beings and extract their silhouette with an active stereo camera. The proposed system consists of three modules: detection, tracking and silhouette extraction. Detection was performed by camera ego-motion compensation and disparity segmentation. For tracking, we present an efficient mean shift based tracking method in which the tracking objects are characterized as disparity weighted color histograms. The silhouette was obtained by two-step segmentation. A trimap is estimated in advance and then this was effectively incorporated into the graph cut framework for fine segmentation. The proposed system was evaluated with respect to ground truth data and it was shown to detect and track multiple people very well and also produce high quality silhouettes. The proposed system can assist in gesture and gait recognition in field of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI).
