본 연구에서는 데이터 분석도구인 R을 활용하여 튜터링 학습법 참여 학생의 성취도를 검증하였다. 분석도구 R은 대용량 데이터의 고급 분석과 통계 계산을 위한 스크립트 언어로 빅데이터의 자료 분석에 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 대학의 학습 활동 측면에서의 튜터링 학습법은 학습 능력이 우수한 선배 또는 동료인 튜터와 학습 받고자하는 튜티가 1:1 또는 1:N의 관계를 이루고 학습 활동을 진행해 나가는 과정이다. 튜터링 학습법 운영 후 실시하는 참여 학생 만족도 조사 결과에 의하여 튜터링 학습법이 학력 수준 차이를 극복하는데 도움이 되고 있다는 정성적인 근거는 있으나 정량적인 분석 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 튜터링 학습법에 참여한 공학정보학부 튜티들의 성적 결과를 분석도구 R을 활용하여 분석하여 튜터링 학습법이 학업성취도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 검증하였다.

분석도구 R은 대용량 데이터의 고급 분석과 통계 계산을 위한 스크립트 언어로 빅데이터의 자료 분석에 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 대학의 학습 활동 측면에서의 튜터링 학습법은 학습 능력이 우수한 선배 또는 동료인 튜터와 학습 받고자하는 튜티가 1:1 또는 1:N의 관계를 이루고 학습 활동을 진행해 나가는 과정이다. 지난 연구에서는 튜터링 학습법에 참여한 학생들의 학업 성취도가 튜터링 학습법에 참여하지 않은 일반 학생들의 학업 성취도 보다 얼마나 높은지 정량적 값을 도출했었다. 본 연구에서는 튜터링 학습법에 참여했던 학생들의 튜터링 참여 과목 이외 다른 전공과목의 성적 성취도를 분석도구 R을 이용하여 분석해 봄으로써 튜터링 학습법 참여 경험이 튜터링을 실시하지 않은 다른 전공과목의 학업 성취도에 영향을 미치고 있는지 분석하였다.

프로그래밍 언어 교육은 컴퓨터 분야의 필수 과목으로 교육되고 있으나 교수자와 학습자에게 가장 어려운 과목으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 명지전문대학에서 시행하고 있는 튜터링 제도를 프로그래밍 언어 수업에 적용하여 학습공동체(피어 튜터링)를 활용한 학습 지원 프로그램을 프로그래밍 언어 교육에 적용한 사례를 제시하고 학습자에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 학습 공동체 프로그램의 참여는 자발적으로 이루어졌으며. 활용 결과 학습자들의 성적이 단기간의 프로그램 참여로 많이 향상되지는 않았지만 튜터와 튜티 모두 프로그래밍 과목에 대한 흥미가 유발되고, 수업 참여도가 높아졌으며, 참여하지 않은 그룹과 비교하여 탈락자 감소에는 도움이 되었던 것으로 판단된다.

본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에 피어 튜터링 교수법을 적용하여 단계별 수준별 학습을 수행하고자 할때 튜터의 선발 방법에 따라 튜터링 효과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 연구하였다. 두 가지 수업 유형에 각기 다른 튜터 선발 방법을 적용하여 운영해보고 그에 따른 튜티들의 학습효과를 분석해보았다.

The purposes of this study are to find out the effectiveness of the tutoring program and the level of self-regulated learning ability in tutoring program attending students. This study has been performed for team-tutoring program attending students(n=183) who are in 15 department, D college in Daegu. Following results were drawn thought correlation analyses of variables obtained during the survey period. The results were as follows; There was statistically significant difference among perception controlling ability, purpose controlling ability, and action controlling ability. In over 20 ages, organization, meta-perception stratagem, arrangement, self-effectiveness, controlling learning time ability were higher than of lower 20 ages(p<0.05). In tutors, demonstration, organization, meta-perception stratagem, arrangement, checking, purpose intentions, self- effectiveness, achievement, controlling action, help requirement ability were higher than tutees(p<0.05). As results, the tutoring program was effective for both tutors and tutees in college students. Further studies in an education program for students in all years should be implemented to examine tutoring effects. Implementation of tutoring should address the frustrations and difficulties encountered by the students to facilitate better outcomes.

최근 지식정보화 시대의 집단지성기반 교육 패러다임 변화는 큰 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 특히 융합적 학문을 근원으로 창의성 계발과 아이디어를 중요시하고 있으며, 창조적 교육방식을 지향하고 있다. 그러나 다양한 영역에 지식전문가들과 학습자들 간에 지식을 공유하기 위한 플랫폼 공간이 제대로 제공되고 있지 못하며, 단순한 컨텐츠 제공을 목적으로 이러닝 서비스가 일부 제공되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 집단지성을 기반으로 지능형 튜터링 에이전트 시스템 설계를 제안하고, 새로운 에이전트(Agent) 개념을 통해 지식인들과 학습자들 간에 지식을 공유할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 새로운 지식을 창출하고, 관리 및 유통할 수 있는 구조를 연구하였다. 또한 사용자들로부터 발생하는 데이터와 정보들을 자동 분석하여 지능적으로 학습상황에 대처할 수 있도록 설계하였으며, 튜터(Tutor)와 튜티(Tutee)간에 협력적인 학습 생태계가 형성될 수 있도록 하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 미래 스마트 학습 플랫폼 발전에 많은 도움이 되길 기대한다.

In this study, new self-initiated peer tutoring is suggested to computer graphic's subject. Subject of computer graphics is practice based subject, therefore learning efficiency and learning level of students is different from each other. To improve the learning efficiency and enhance the interest of related subject, new peer tutoring activities was performed with main class in 6 months (including vacation). We analyzed the results of tutoring activities and conducted survey tutees. Results of the analysis and the survey were shown that students (tutees) are satisfied with and interested in the class of computer graphics.

The deterioration of freshmen's scholastic performance has been markedly intensified and this phenomenon leads to serious problem in managing a college curriculum. In this study, peer tutoring, as a learning ability improvement program in Hoseo university, was introduced and the influence of the program on freshmen's scholastic performance was analyzed. In managing the program, a spontaneous participation of students was guided, a systematical network was built up among participants, tasks were assigned to participants and the results were verified for the improvement of the program. As a result, it was considered that peer tutoring strengthened the relationship among students, increased the leadership and responsibility as well as helped to enhance the interest in studying and improved the scholastic performance for both tutors and tutees.
