본 연구는 개방.참여.공유를 통한 정보창출과 활용의 목적으로 시작된 웹2.0 서비스의 하나인 매쉬업 검색기능에 대한 대학도서관 이용자들의 사용실태 및 최근 사용이 증가하고 있는 SNS에 대한 이용 실태를 조사하고, 이를 토대로 향후 도서관 통합검색의 기능향상과 개선방안을 모색하고자 한다.

기존의 내용기반 비디오 검색 시스템들은 주석기반 검색 또는 특징기반 검색과 같은 단일 방식으로만 검색을 하므로 검색 효율이 낮을 뿐 아니라 완전한 자동 처리가 되지 않아 시스템 관리자나 주석자의 많은 노력을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 주석기반 검색을 이용하여 대용량의 비디오 데이터에 대한 사용자의 다양한 의미검색을 지원하는 에이전트 기반에서의 자동화되고 통합된 비디오 의미기반 검색 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자의 기본적인 질의를 분석하고 질의에 의해 추출된 키 프레임의 이미지를 사용자가 선택함으로써 인덱싱 에이전트는 추출된 키 프레임의 주석에 대한 의미를 더욱 구체화시킨다.

해상을 통해 반출입되는 항만 컨테이너는 선박과 항만에서의 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 국제해상위험물규칙의 규정을 준수하였는지 검사하고 컨테이너의 안전성을 점검한다. 하지만 지금까지의 컨테이너 및 위험화물의 검색은 대부분 사람에 의한 수동 운용으로 이루어지고 있어 향후 자율운항선박의 도래에 따른 자동화 항만을 위해서는 자동화된 검색 기술과 더불어 대상 컨테이너의 무인 자동화 검색이 가능하도록 운영이 될 필요가 있으며, 보다 진보적이고 효과적인 컨테이너 검색기술을 활용하기 위해 컨테이너 검색정보 표준을 개발하여 컨테이너 보안검색의 효율성 및 검색 활동에 대한 업무 비효율적인 문제를 해결하고자 한다.

This study examined the effects of online search service users' experiences on search satisfaction by the types of main search results. As a result of the survey, the negative experience of using the search result in the specific service area among the integrated search results is the most irrelevant regardless of the type of search result with the lowest usage rate. In particular, users are often exposed to advertising information and valuable or low useful information, and information inaccuracy, bias, and personal information leakage experience are relatively higher than other search results. Satisfaction by type of search result of online search service showed only difference in interest of search result, and no other satisfaction factor was found by type of search result. Looking at the experience factors that affect the satisfaction of each type of search results, in the case of general integrated search results except search websites such as search ads and search ads, the more accurate information is provided, the more satisfied the search results are. In the case of, the provision of high value and useful information has a positive effect on satisfaction. After all, it is implied that online search service providers should consider the highest priority for improving the service, improving the accuracy of information and the value and usefulness of information.

The purpose of this study is to select and apply description elements for the integrated search of archival objects in university archives. For this purpose, the act of public archives management and the research literature were reviewed, and a survey was conducted on related institutions. Moreover, this paper made a comparison by using the archival description of ISAD(G), DACS, RDA, and CCO and referred to the descriptions that are being used at university archives. Based on these analyses, we suggested the description elements for the integrated search of archival objects in university archives and presented the practical application method for it.

This study examines overall user experience associated with Web search engine use including selection, usage of search features, evaluation. The data were collected through individual interviews with 28 faculty members and graduate students. It was found that users tend to select a search engine based on experience and knowledge of certain features and familiarity with an engine itself more than based on previous experience with search results. The results showed the users had mixed opinions regarding cross language retrieval while they did not believe the usage of operators effect the search results. It appears that users are interested in interface design as well as the accuracy of search results.

This study presents a new retrieval system developed to consider various preferential requirements for buyers in the real estate market. The paper analyses essential factors affecting the price of real estate and then a set of factors are classified by region-related factor and individual-related factor. After endowing the buyer's selected factors with weights in the retrieval system, the optimal solutions have been drawn by comparing with the others through an entropy measure of Multi-attribute Decision Making. This retrieval system is applied to the Busan real estate market to estimate the solutions of retrieval. Evaluation results indicate that the retrieval system can provide useful information to analyse the price determination factors of real estate, as well as to save the searching cost of the buyers.

We constructed the integrated management system of distributed astronomical data of Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory(BOAO), Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory (SOAO), and Mt. Lemmon Optical Astronomy Observatory(LOAO). The observed data was stored in the archive of the observatory and MySQL table is saved in the integrated management system. There are data archive managers in the observatories and they manage the integrated management system such as data storing, head information extraction, table generation, and management of web pages, etc. The users can search and download all the data in the integrated management system web page. The concept of this system - send queries from web page to the observatory archives - is the same of the basic concept of virtual observatory. This research is one of the main work in the Korean virtual observatory which is take part in the international virtual observatory alliance.

정보 시각화 기술은 기존 정보검색 기술에 시각화 기술을 통합하여 방대한 인터넷 정보에 대한 이해도를 높임으로써 정보 검색 시 요구되는 시간과 노력을 줄여주며, 검색된 결과 목록이나 결과에 대한 통계치를 시각적으로 보여줌으로써, 검색과정 중에 원하는 정보에 관련된 동향을 파악하는 데 유용하다. 최근 검색시스템에서의 정보 시각화에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 여러 시각화 기술과 검색 기술의 접목에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 고에서는 검색시스템에서의 정보 시각화 최근 연구동향 및 전망에 대해서 알아본다.
