A Study on the Integration Costs in Korean Electric System in Accordance with Increasing Solar and Wind Power Generation (태양광·풍력 발전 증가에 따른 한국의 전력시스템 내 통합비용에 관한 연구)

  • The solar and wind power is spreading as a means to $CO_2$ reduction, but it has the characteristics of the volatility depending on the weather changes. This article aims to estimate the additional integration costs in Korea electric system in response to such volatility of increasing solar and wind power generation, using Korea electric power trading analyzer(KEPTA). The analysis utilizes the statistics of "8th Basic Plan for Long-term Electricity Supply and Demand" and "Renewable Energy Plan 3020". As the results, integration costs will be estimated 13.94Won/kWh~32.55Won/kWh, consisting of 8.94Won/kWh as back-up costs, 1.03Won/kWh~4.45Won/kWh as balancing costs, and 3.97Won/kWh~19.16Won/kWh as grid-costs. These results suggest that when the integration costs are secured, Korea electric system will be expected in the stable situation. This article leaves the further studies with taking the technological development of solar and wind power generation, the introduction of energy storage system, and wholesale price of electricity into consideration.

  • The view can provide the user an appropriate portion of the database through data integration and filtering. Views can be materialized for query performance improvement, and in that cse, their consistency needs to be maintained against the updates of the underlying data. They can be either recomputed or incrementally refreshed by reflecting the relevant updates. Since XML could represent the structural information of the documents, for the XML materialized views, new techniques that differ from the previous ones for incrementally refreshing the relational views are required. In this paper, we propose a framework of XML materialized view management where the XML view derived from the underlying XML documents are materialized and incrementally refreshed against the updates of the underlying documents.

  • 홍보용 LED 전광판의 경우 표준이 제정되어 있는 도로 전광판과는 달리 획일화된 기준 없이 설치한 것들이 많아 관리를 위한 시스템의 규격이 체계적으로 규정 되어 있지 않으며 통일된 시스템 구축체계를 정의하기 쉽지 않아 제작 비용적인 측면에서 낭비가 발생한다. 이러한 관리 측면의 문제점을 해결해야 한다는 요구사항에 스마트폰을 통하여 전자 제품을 제어하는 유비쿼터스 시대적 요구사항을 결합하여 모바일 상에서 실시간 원격으로 제어할 수 있는 LED 전광판 통합 관리/제어 시스템을 제안한다. 통일된 시스템을 제안함으로써 서로 다른 규격을 일일이 맞추는 낭비를 줄일 수 있으며, 모바일 기능을 강화함으로써 전광판에서 재생하는 저작물의 배포 및 서비스 구조 관리, 제어 등의 측면에서 신뢰성 있고 효율적인 LED 전광판 시스템 관리를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • At past, but smaller enterprises had operated each business automation system about office, at present, are making use of integration ERP information system that take advantage of accessible web technology in outside environment. In this research we took smaller enterprise's example, constructed ERP system that real-time processing is available to supply ERP information to customer by real time and to handle business in outside site. With construction result of this system, we verified efficiency of system and customers' satisfaction etc of customer's complaint solution, business productivity elevation, economical curtailment and so on through various kinds quantitative estimation.

  • This paper describes UPnP AV System which provides various multimedia services in home network composed of diverse multimedia devices. It is difficult to build home network where various multimedia services can be provided because there are a lot of difference devices, platforms, and network technologies. However, UPnP middleware can make up multimedia service environment in that home network. Therefore this paper describes how the multimedia service environment is built with UPnP middleware. We analyze and modify MediaServer, MediaRenderer, and Control Point, which these are the components of UPnP AV archtecture. Additionally we provide some efficient GUI to use different kind of multimedia in any place of home networks. We propose UPnP AV Framework of playback module that consist of MediaServer providing contents, MediaRenderer using contents, and Control Point providing GUI. Especially, MediaRenderer and Control Point are integrated in set-top.

  • Concurrency control is one of the important factors to maintain consistent conditions of a game because most participants of the game should be shared information to play the game through a distributed network system. replay delay times should establish in every event and the received event should be saved and performed simultaneously for Concurrency Control. However, it is not easy to practice the event with same speed in environment having various moving speed. Therefore, expansion have to be provided. In other words, one of the most important factors of a game's efficiency is the process of bandwidth and delay. the process of concurrency control method based on scalable prediction for Multi-platform games would minimize the loss rate of a event and then would improve the interaction capacity of a game. It also might get reliability between clients. This paper analyzes some problems in terms of a layout of a game that integrates a cable and a wireless system. In addition, this paper provides methods to expand bandwidth and delay that might be an obstacle of a On-line game and to ensure reliability between a server and a client.

  • WGS(Water Gas Shift)반응은 일산화탄소(CO)를 이산화탄소($CO_2$)로 전환하는 반응으로 일체형 수소생산시스템의 실현을 위한 고순도 수소생산에 있어서 중요한 단계이다. WGS 반응은 열역학적 평형을 고려하여 고온전이반응(HTS: High Temperature Shift)과 저온전이반응(LTS: Low Temperature Shift) 두 단계 반응으로 진행된다. 두 단계 공정의 통합을 위해 낮은 온도에서 높은 활성을 갖는 WGS 반응용 촉매 개발이 필요하다. 최근 낮은 온도에서 높은 활성을 갖는 귀금속 촉매에 다양한 담체를 적용시킨 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 선행 연구 결과, Ce-$ZrO_2$ 구조는 Ce/Zr 비에 따라 다양한 특성 변화를 관찰하였다. 따라서 낮은 온도에서 높은 활성을 갖는 WGS 반응용 촉매 제조를 위해 환원성 담체인 $CeZrO_2$에 Pt 을 담지시켜 성능을 평가하였다. 제조된 모든 담체는 공침법(Co-precipitation)으로 제조 하였으며 $500^{\circ}C$에서 6시간 소성하였다. 제조된 담체에 백금(Pt)을 함침법(Incipient Wetness Impregnate)으로 담지시켰다. 특성분석은 BET를 이용하여 표면적을 측정하였다. 촉매 반응 실험조건은 $200^{\circ}C{\sim}400^{\circ}C$ 온도범위에서 기체공간속도(GHSV: Gas Hourly Space Velocity) 45,000 ml/$h{\cdot}g-cat$ 으로 혼합가스($H_2$:60%, $N_2$:20%,$CH_4$:1%,CO:9%,$CO_2$:10%)를 흘려 반응 후 배출되는 가스를 Micro-Gas Chromatography 를 이용하여 측정하였다.

The Identification of Type II DNA Topoisomerase-Associated Protein Kinase Activity from Regenerating Rat Liver (재생 쥐간에서 분리한 DNA topoisomerase II에 결합된 protein kinase 활성)

  • We have found a protein kinase activity that is tightly associated with type II DNA topoisomerase purified from regenerating rat liver. The activities of protein kinase and topoisomerase II were not separable when the enzyme was subjected to analytical chromatographies (Hydroxyapatite, phosphocellulose, and double strand DNA cellulose) and glycerol gradient sedimentation. The kinase activity from purified rat topoisomerase II was also inactivated by the topoisomerase II inhibitors such as N-ethylmaleimide or novobiocin. The evidences, however, do not rule out a possibility that the kinase activity resides in a polypeptide other than the topoisomerase II protein. The topoisomerase II-associated protein kinase required Mg++ for its activity, and this requirement was not substituted by any other mono- or divalent ions. Histone H1 act as a strong stimulator and a good substrate for the kinase activity and other histones and ${\alpha}$-casein could not substitute the effect of histone H1.

  • This paper explores the concept of mobile gaming platforms and changes in game play through mobile parameters, focusing on the role of role-playing mobile games through mobile parameters. As a move, the Player combines the mobile media with the game platform. The daily time of the mobile mid-dividualization is reconstructed with the principle of superposition, which affects play experience on the mobile gaming platform. The character of a mobile role-playing game plays a non-integrated play where the player is staying, rather than an avatar character, and exhibits a non-dwelling character as a residential space. Automatic battle also regenerates unused combat forces in the form of explicit integration. The experience of combat in overlapping hours serves as a visual spectacle, and the player inhabits the fighter jets.

  • The systems associated with the ESS never stop. It runs 24 hours everyday. The system must be managed to run. The ESS system should perform normally even if the power IT equipment fails or communication failure occurs. Therefore, there is a need for a system that actively addresses, manages and controls the high precision power data of the ESS, even if a variety of failures occur. I would like to propose a power management communication unit to cope with the occurrence of communication failure. This paper also includes an integrated management system that can perform micro grid site management, maintenance and monitoring for the ESS system connected with the solar power generation facility.
