물관리 일원화로 인해 높아지는 국민의 관심과 기대에 따라 통합 물관리 기술의 제고가 필요하다. 환경부의 수문조사기본계획에서는 수량·수질·수생태 통합관리를 위한 기초정보 생산, 자동화를 확보하는 방향으로 측정·조사망 개선 및 통합 관리 등이 명시되어 있는데, 현재의 수량과 수질분야 계측은 기존의 관측망과 각 분야별 계측특성으로 인해 별도의 관측망과 관측 체계로 운영되고 있다. 이에 첨단 계측시스템의 구축을 통해 실시간 유량자료를 생산하고 있는 환경부의 자동유량측정시설 인프라를 이용하여 추가적인 수질 계측기의 설치와 자료전송시스템의 개선을 통해 유량·유사량·수질을 통합 계측할 수 있는 다목적 관측소 구축 연구를 수행하였다. 자동유량측정망과 수질측정망을 검토하여 중복측정이 되지 않도록 낙동강 본류의 구미시(구미대교) 지점을 선정하였고, 대상지점의 현장조사 및 하상단면 측량, 수질측정 등을 검토하여 기존의 자동유량측정시설에 다목적 측정이 가능하도록 인프라를 구축하였다. 유사량은 기존에 설치된 자동유량측정시설의 초음파 유속계에서 계측되는 초음파산란도와 부유사농도의 관계식 개발을 통해 실시간 유사량 자료를 생산할 수 있고, 수질자료는 자동수질측정망에서 활용하고 있는 다항목 수질측정기를 설치하여 수온, 전기전도도, 용존산소, 탁도, 수소이온농도 등의 자료를 생산할 수 있다. 다목적 관측소의 구축은 기존 인프라를 활용할 수 있어 항목별 개별적인 관측소 구축에 비해 저비용 설치가 가능하고, 자료의 통합 관리에 있어 효율적일 수 있다. 금년도 홍수기 이전 시스템의 구축이 완료될 예정이고, 추후 다목적 관측소의 운영을 통해 유량, 유사량, 수질자료의 통합 생산 및 처리과정의 개선을 수행하여 통합 물관리에 일조할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This study presents a plan to develop a integrated management system for data survey of cadastral surveying to efficiently manage and research cadastral survey data. As a result of analysis of the existing cadastral survey data used to evaluate efficiency of the developed integrated cadastral survey data management system, it was shown that data survey time can be reduced by approximately half.

통합 플랫폼의 연계모듈은 구조시스템 대안생성, 구조해석, 구조설계를 수행하는 여러 프로그램들의 자료교환을 지원하는 모듈로서, buildingSMART International에서 개발한 표준자료모델을 기반으로 한다. 이 표준자료모델은 다양한 건축물의 기획부터 유지관리 단계까지를 대상으로 하므로 많은 자료들이 복잡하게 얽혀있어 그 전체적인 구조와 상세한 내용을 파악하기 곤란하다. 그러므로 통합 플랫폼의 여러 프로그램들에 표준자료모델 기반의 자료교환 기능 추가에는 많은 시간과 노력이 소요된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 시간과 노력을 절감할 수 있는 연계모듈 구조를 제안하고 이를 일부 구현하였으며, 간단한 적용사례를 통하여 타당성을 검토하였다.

유역의 하천유량과 같은 수문 시계열을 모의 또는 예측하기 위한 수문 모델링에서 최근 기계 학습 방법을 활용한 연구가 활발하게 적용되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 데이터 기반 모델링 접근법은 입출력 자료에서 관찰된 패턴을 학습하며, 특히, 장단기기억(Long Short-Term Memory, LSTM) 네트워크는 많은 연구에서 수문 시계열 예측에 대한 적용성이 검증되었으나, 장기간의 고품질 관측자료를 활용할 때 더 나은 예측성능을 보인다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 장기간 관측된 고품질의 하천유량 자료를 확보하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 LSTM 네트워크의 학습 시 가용한 모든 유역의 자료를 통합하여 학습시켰을 때 하천유량 예측성능을 개선할 수 있는지 판단해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 우리나라 13개 댐 유역을 대상으로 대상 유역의 자료만을 학습한 모델의 예측성능과 모든 유역의 자료를 학습한 모델의 예측성능을 비교해 보았다. 학습은 2001년부터 2010년까지 기상자료(강우, 최저·최고·평균기온, 상대습도, 이슬점, 풍속, 잠재증발산)를 이용하였으며, 2011년부터 2020년에 대해 테스트 되었다. 다지점 통합학습을 통해 테스트 기간에 대해 예측된 각 유역의 일 하천유량의 KGE 중앙값이 0.74로 단일지점 학습을 통해 예측된 KGE(0.72)보다 다소 개선된 결과를 보여주었다. 다지점 통합학습이 하천유량 예측에 큰 개선을 달성하지는 못하였으며, 추가적인 가용 자료 확보와 LSTM 구성의 개선을 통해 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

This paper proposes a product data model and associated process for CAE activities in context of integrated product development. The data model and process enable Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) systems to integrate currently separated CAE activities into the main product development process. The product view concept in the proposed product data model supports independent CAE activities including analysis of various alternatives based on shared product structures with design departments and seamless translation of the CAE result to design product views. The proposed model is validated through an implementation of a prototype PLM system that can integrate and synchronize CAE process with the company-wide product development process.

Spatial data integration using multiple geo-based data sets has been regarded as one of the primary GIS application issues. As for this issue, several integration schemes have been developed as the perspectives of mathematical geology or geo-mathematics. However, research-based approaches for statistical/quantitative assessments between integrated layer and input layers are not fully considered yet. Related to this niche point, in this study, spatial data integration using multiple geoscientific data sets by known integration algorithms was primarily performed. For spatial integration by using raster-based GIS functionality, geological, geochemical, geophysical data sets, DEM-driven data sets and remotely sensed imagery data sets from the Ogdong area were utilized for geological thematic mapping related by mineral potential mapping. In addition, statistical/quantitative information extraction with respective to relationships among used data sets and/or between each data set and integrated layer was carried out, with the scope of multiple data fusion and schematic statistical assessment methodology. As for the spatial integration scheme, certainty factor (CF) estimation and principal component analysis (PCA) were applied. However, this study was not aimed at direct comparison of both methodologies; whereas, for the statistical/quantitative assessment between integrated layer and input layers, some statistical methodologies based on contingency table were focused. Especially, for the bias reduction, jackknife technique was also applied in PCA-based spatial integration. Through the statistic analyses with respect to the integration information in this case study, new information for relationships of integrated layer and input layers was extracted. In addition, influence effects of input data sets with respect to integrated layer were assessed. This kind of approach provides a decision-making information in the viewpoint of GIS and is also exploratory data analysis in conjunction with GIS and geoscientific application, especially handing spatial integration or data fusion with complex variable data sets.

Data synchronization between data stored in mobile communication terminals and data in a central server is one of essential tasks for efficient mobile communication environments. Since, however, manufacturers of mobile terminals have their proprietary data synchronization mechanisms, data interoperability can hardly be achieved. In this paper, an integrated data synchronization gateway based SyncML is designed and implemented. SyncML data synchronization is one of open standards proposed by OMA(Open Motile Alliance). In other words, by constructing a data synchronization gateway which can transform various proprietary data into SyncML data and vice versa, data interoperability between mobile terminals which use different data synchronization mechanisms can be achieved. With an integrated data synchronization gateway system implemented in this work, interoperability among WinCE-based ActiveSync data, PalmOs-based HotSync data and OMA SyncML data can be achieved.

This paper presents a two-stage geostatistical integration approach that aims at downscaling of coarse scale remote sensing data. First, downscaling of the coarse scale sedoncary data is implemented using area-to-point kriging, and this result will be used as trend components on the next integration stage. Then simple kriging with local varying means that integrates sparse precise observation data with the downscaled data is applied to generate thematic information at a finer scale. The presented approach can not only account for the statistical relationships between precise observation and secondary data acquired at the different scales, but also to calibrate the errors in the secondary data through the integration with precise observation data. An experiment for precipitation mapping with weather station data and TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) data acquired at a coarse scale is carried out to illustrate the applicability of the presented approach. From the experiment, the geostatistical downscaling approach applied in this paper could generate detailed thematic information at various finer target scales that reproduced the original TRMM precipitation values when upscaled. And the integration of the downscaled secondary information with precise observation data showed better prediction capability than that of a conventional univariate kriging algorithm. Thus, it is expected that the presented approach would be effectively used for downscaling of coarse scale data with various data acquired at different scales.

To identify major causes of the global environment changes arising from extreme and unusual weather patterns occurring these days, and to foresee future environmental changes, it is highly important to shed light on the correlation between climate changes and global environment system. To investigate the correlation between climate changes and global environment system, it calls for establishing an integrated climate-environment DB for analyzing comparatively the data on climatic changes and global environment system. In the preceding studies, we researched an XML-based integrated climate-environment DB and developed a management system for the DB. However, the existing integrated climate-environment DB, designed and installed only for individual PCs, does not allow multiple users 'simultaneous access. Accordingly, it fails to systematically update and sharing data which is being generated continuingly. Hence, this study aims to develop an easy-to-use GIS-based integrated DB management system by improving the existing integrated climate-environment DB through the adoption of the client/server model. For this, this study collected and analyzed climate and environment data prior to designing and building a DBMS-based integrated DB. In addition, in order for multidisciplinary researchers to easily get access and apply the integrated DB, this study designed and developed a GIS-based integrated DB management system using a client/server model which facilitates connections with multiple PCs. The GIS-based integrated climate-environment DB management system makes it easier to efficiently manage and locate scattered climate-environment data. It is also expected that the DB system will bring the effects in saving time and cost by avoiding the overlapping generation of data in the areas of integrated climate-environment research.
