Development of a Miniaturized Automatic Excavator with Time-Varying Sliding Mode Controller (시변 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 이용한 모형 자동 굴삭기 개발)

  • These excavators have been widely used due to their flexibility in handing various tasks via simple changes of their attachments. Since the performance of manually-operated excavators heavily depend on the operators' skill level, there is a strong need for developing automatic excavators in the industry. In order to achieve such goals, exiting approaches have studied direct modification of existing hydraulic systems in the excavator for feed back control of each link. This paper presents a miniaturized automatic excavator that can be used for the development and demonstration of advanced control algorithm for excavators under a safer environment with reduced cost. Two PCs were installed and connected to the excavator through wireless communications for its control and monitoring. Tracking control of each link using a time varying sliding mode controller was performed through experiments on the developed system to demonstrate its ability.

  • The various kinds of application is distributed for the Smart phone user recently. There is the advantage that the open source application on Android operating system based Smart phone supports a multi tasking service. Layar, Wikitude, and Sherpa and the other applications using the GPS location information like an a2b etc. were developed in the Smart phone environment. However, the existing Cell-ID based location information can be directly collected by the mobile ISP unit which the mobile carrier installs, the personal privacy problem occurs. Therefore, the personal location information is possible to be exposed publicly without any access control procedure. Therefore, in this research, the self-control mechanism on the GPS location information at the Smart phone is designed and presented. Through this, it is possible to develop diverse applications providing enhanced access control and GPS location management on the Android based Smart Phone.

Electric Power Energy Saving and Efficient Measures in Buildings using the Smart-Meter (스마트미터를 활용한 건축물의 전력에너지 절감 및 효율화 방안)

  • In this paper, We implement a power-saving and efficient measures in buildings using the smart-meter. In order to save electric power energy, We propose an improved automatic power-factor controller(APFC) and demand control measures. This is achieved by controlling directly circuit breakers and the capacitor bank feeders in real time via a two-way smart-meter's ICT skills. Improved APFC is minimizing installation costs by series-parallel connecting heterologous capacitors to form a more diverse capacitor banking and controlling using the smart-meter. In order to suppress the demand power, We have designed a smart-meter with communication functions using Atmel's AVR465 and tested an operated lodging building for 24-hours. As a result, We made sure to always retained more than 95% power factor and did not occur over compensation.

  • This research is to introduce about Judgment System for Intelligent Movement(JSIM) that can perform assistance work of human brain. JSIM can order autonomous command and also it can be directly controlled by user. This research assumes that control object is limited to Mobile Robot(MR) Mobile robot offers image and ultrasonic sensor information to user carrying JSIM and it performs guide to user. JSIM having PDA and Sensor-box controls velocity and direction of the mobile robot by soft-computing method that inputs user's command and information that is obtained to mobile robot. Also it controls mobile robot to achieve various movement. This paper introduces wearable JSIM that communicates with around devices and that can do intelligent judgment. To verify the possibility of the proposed system, in real environment, the simulation of control and application problem lot mobile robot will be introduced. Intelligent algorithm in the proposed system is generated by mixed hierarchical fuzzy and neural network.

H Control on the Optical Image Stabilizer Mechanism in Mobile Phone Cameras (이동통신 단말기 카메라의 손떨림 보정 장치의 H 제어)

  • This study proposes a closed-loop shaping control method with $H_{\infty}$ optimization for optical image stabilization (OIS) in mobile phone cameras. The image stabilizer is composed of a horizontal stage constrained by ball bearings and actuated by the magnetic force from voice coil motors. The displacement of the stage is measured by Hall effect sensors. From the OIS frequency response experiment, the transfer function models of the stage and Hall effect sensor were identified. The weight functions were determined considering the tracking performance, noise attenuation, and stability with considerable margins. The $H_{\infty}$ optimal controller was executed using closed-loop shaping and limiting the controller order, which should be less than 6 for real-time implementation. The control algorithm was verified experimentally and proved to operate as designed.

  • 한국정보통신기술협회(이하, TTA)에서 제정된 " HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼(TTAK.KO-07.0111/R1)" 은 개방형 국제 기술표준인 W3C/HTML5 을 기반으로 스마트 TV 에서 방송환경과 운영체제에 종속되지 않고 애플리케이션이 실행될 수 있도록 스마트 TV 플랫폼의 기술 요구 사항을 정의한 표준이다. TTA 에서는 이러한 표준 기반의 TV 앱 생태계를 활성화하기 위해 앱 개발도구(SDK)를 개발하여 배포하였고, 이어서 TV 장치 없이 PC 환경에서 표준 기반으로 개발된 앱을 실행할 수 있는 있는 에뮬레이터 개발을 추진하였다. 개발된 에뮬레이터는 사용자의 방송 정보 설정을 바탕으로 방송 재생 및 제어 기능을 제공하고 표준 기술로 작성된 앱을 방송 연동형 혹은 패키지 형태로 실행할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 TTA 에서 개발한 표준 기반 TV 에뮬레이터의 설계 및 구현에 대해 소개한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 PHEV와 EV의 보급 확대에 따른 충전을 통합적으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고 통합 충전 관리 시스템(Main-system)과 포스트(Sub-system) 운용 프로세스에 관해 설명하고자 한다. 충전 시스템 구성 비용 절감 및 사용 효율을 높일 수 있는 통합형 충전 시스템 구성을 위해 각 시스템간 통신 방식, 송수신 정보, 충전 및 제어 그리고 차량과의 인터페이스 기술 등 다양한 기능 정의와 통합 충전 모니터링 시스템의 장치 운용 알고리즘에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

  • The world's supply of water in all forms is enormous. However, only a tiny fraction of the planet's supply is available to us as fresh water, and that is distributed very unevenly. About 97% of oater volume is found in the oceans and is too salty for drinking, growing crops, and most industrial uses except cooling. In addition water supply crises in already-water-short-regions will intensify because population and industrialization increase. Today, remote monitoring and control systems are becoming the cost-effective management tools for almost all water user groups, including irrigators, water districts, municipal water suppliers, and wildlife management groups. This paper represents a new approach in the water-gate control using radio communication. The proposed device is simple in structure and suitable for implementation of water-gate control through the transceiver by radio communication. It was confirmed that the developed device was very efficient to control level of water-gate and to prove the up and down motion of water-gate through the LCD displayer.

POP 단말기 시스팀 개발에 관한 연구

  • 생산시점 (Point Of Production)에서 생산정보의 발생원 즉, 기계, 설비, 작업자, 작업대상물 (Work) 등으로부터 생산 정보를 Paperless, 실시간(Real Time)으로 수집하는 장치를 POP 단말기라 하며, POP 단말기와 PC(관리용, 제어용)를 RS232, RS422, RS485 등의 네트워크로 구성하여 전생산라인의 정보를 실시간으로 얻을 수 있다. PC는 PC 상호간 또는 공장의 주컴퓨터(Host Computer)와 LAN(Local Area Network)으로 연결하여 공장 전체를 관리한다. 생산정보 및 라인 가동상태를 주컴퓨터에 연결된 단말기를 통하여 수시로 파악함으로써 생산계획의 수립은 물론 공장의 모든 인적, 물적자원의 효율적인 운용을 가능케 해주는 것이 바로 POP의 개념이다. 본고에서는 이러한 POP 개념의 실현을 위해 기계부품 생산라인을 대상으로 한 POP 단말기 시스팀 개발에 관하여 서술하고자 한다.

  • 초고속 광통신 시스템 구현에 있어서 핵심기술의 하나인 광섬유의 색분산 제어와 함께 그 정확한 측정을 위한 여러 방법들이 연구되어 왔으나, 기존의 방법들은 실험 장치가 복잡하고 광대역의 광원을 필요하므로 저가의 시스템 구현 및 실제적 응용이 어렵다.$^{(1)}$ 실제 시스템에 장착되어 있는 필드에서 응용 될 수 있기 위해서는 소형이며 온도와 같은 외부 환경에 민감하지 않은 시스템을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 실제필드에서의 광섬유에 대한 정확한 색분산 측정을 위한 시스템 개발을 목적으로 이득스위칭된 다모드레이저 및 고분산광섬유(Highly Dispersive Fiber)를 이용한 색분산 측정시스템을 제안한다.
