A Drum Onset Detection Scheme Based on Probabilistic Latent Component Analysis (확률적 은닉 성분 분석에 기반한 드럼 Onset 검출 방법)

  • 특정 시간에 동시 연주된 다수 음원의 onset 을 검출하기 위해서는 음원 분리 문제가 선결되어야 한다. 특히, 드럼과 같은 조음(?音) 악기 신호 검출 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 음원 분리 방법의 성능이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 효과적인 음원 분리 방법으로 알려진 확률적 은닉 성분 분석(PLCA) 방법에 기반한 주요 악기 신호의 onset 검출 방법을 제안한다. 효과적인 onset 검출을 위해, 첫째, 확률적 은닉 성분 분석으로 훈련 된 비음수 주파수 성분 중 최적의 성분을 선택하는 방법을 적용하고, 둘째, 드럼 악기 신호의 정확한 onset 검출을 위해 고안된 비음수 시계열 신호 threshold 방법을 적용한다. 실험에서는 제시된 방법을 이용하여 드럼의 주요 악기 신호 onset 검출 성능이 향상됨을 보인다.

A Deep Learning-Based Image Recognition Model for Illegal Parking Enforcement (불법 주정차 단속을 위한 딥러닝 기반 이미지 인식 모델)

  • Recently, research on the convergence of drones and artificial intelligence technologies have been conducted in various industrial fields. In this paper, we propose an illegal parking vehicle recognition model using deep learning-based object recognition and classification algorithms. The model of object recognition and classification consist of YOLOv8 and ResNet18, respectively. The proposed model was trained using image data collected in general road environment, and the trained model showed high accuracy in determining illegal parking. From simulation results, it was confirmed that the proposed model has generalization performance to identify illegal parking vehicles from various images.

The Measurement of Fading Characteristics of The Beamforming on Mobile ad-hoc Channel Environments (이동 ad-hoc채널에서 빔 형성 방식의 페이딩 특성 측정)

  • In mobile channel environments, the effect of the multi-path fading reduces the performance of the mobile communication severely. Previous studies on the effect of the multi-path fading show that, only the channel between fixed base stations and mobile terminals are considered. However, the future mobile communication service such as telematics may use the communication between moving mobile terminals, so called mobile ad-hoc communication, the studies on the channel is required for such situations. In this paper we have measured the mobile channel and analyzed the fading characteristics when using the linear array antennas. In the data measurements, we sent the QPSK modulated signal with carrier frequency of 2GHz band and received the signal using the array antennas equipped on moving vehicles. We have analyzed the fading characteristics and the effects of the fading reduction using the CDF of fading depth using data collected from two moving vehicles. The simulation results show that the beamforming technique adds 6 or 7dB to the fading margin than that of the selection diversity depending on channel environments.

  • This paper describes the parameter adjustment method of fuzzy membership function to improve the performance of multi-sensor fusion system using adaptive fuzzy-Kalman filter and cross-validation. The adaptive fuzzy-Kanlman filter has two input parameters, variation of accelerometer measurements and residual error of Kalman filter. The filter estimates system noise R and measurement noise Q, then changes the Kalman gain. To evaluate proposed adaptive fuzzy-Kalman filter, we make the two-axis AHRS(Attitude Heading Reference System) using fusion of an accelerometer and a gyro sensor. Then we verified its performance by comparing to NAV420CA-100 to be used in various fields of airborne, marine and land applications.

  • Lately, spectrum sensing performance has been improved by using cooperate spectrum sensing which each results of sensing of several secondary users are reported to the fusion center. Using Cognitive Radio, secondary user is able to share a bandwidth allocated to primary user. In this paper, we propose a new decentralized cooperative spectrum sensing scheme which compensates the performance degradation of existing decentralized cooperative spectrum sensing considering the error probability of the channel which sensed result of the secondary user is delivered to the fusion center in decentralized cooperative spectrum sensing. In addition, a sensing threshold optimization of minimizing the error probability of decentralized cooperative spectrum sensing is introduced by deriving the equation and the optimal sensing threshold has been confirmed to maximize the decentralized cooperative spectrum sensing performance.

  • The introduction of Smart Factories has transformed manufacturing towards more objective and efficient line management. However, most companies are not effectively utilizing the vast amount of sensor data collected every second. This study aims to use this data to predict product quality and manage production processes efficiently. Due to security issues, specific sensor data could not be verified, so semiconductor process-related training data from the "SAMSUNG SDS Brightics AI" site was used. Data preprocessing, including removing missing values, outliers, scaling, and feature elimination, was crucial for optimal sensor data. Oversampling was used to balance the imbalanced training dataset. The SVM (rbf) model achieved high performance (Accuracy: 97.07%, GM: 96.61%), surpassing the MLP model implemented by "SAMSUNG SDS Brightics AI". This research can be applied to various topics, such as predicting component lifecycles and process conditions.

A Fuzzy-based Fusion Wireless Localization Method (퍼지기반 융합 무선위치추정기법)

  • In the wireless localization systems using range measurements, iteration method-based approximated solutions have been used. Also, linear closed-form solutions have been investigated in the light of local minimum problem and computational load. However, each closed-form solution has individual error factors that cause usage limit of the solutions. In this paper, a fusion method integrating two representative closed-form solutions is presented. The presented method cancels the error factors of each solution out. Weights for integrating the standalone solutions are determined using the error factors-based fuzzy method. The performance of the proposed method is verified using some simulation results.

  • 최근 사물인터넷(IoT) 환경에서 다양한 장비의 인터넷 통신이 가능하여 이에 적절한 경량 블록 암호 알고리즘에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. ICISC 2020에서 새로 발표된 국산 경량 블록 암호 알고리즘인 PIPO는 새로운 경량 S-Box를 조합한 unbalanced-Bridge 구조로 효율적인 비트슬라이싱 구현을 제공한다. IoT 환경에 PIPO가 적용되기 위해서는 부채널 분석에 대한 안전성이 보장되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PIPO가 1차 CPA 공격에 취약함을 확인한다. 그리고 부채널 공격에 대응하기 위해 1차 마스킹 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 마스킹 기법은 1차 CPA 공격에 안전하였으며, 마스킹 적용 전보다 -375%의 성능을 보였다. 그리고 기존 기법보다 1287% 속도가 빨라진 것을 확인하였다.

A Study on Next Generation HTTP-based Adaptive Streaming Transmission Protocol for Realistic Media (실감미디어 전송을 위한 차세대 HTTP 기반 적응적 스트리밍 전송 프로토콜 연구)

  • Various streaming technologies are being studied to guarantee the QoE of viewers due to the development of realistic media. HTTP adaptive streaming is a typical example, and it is based on HTTP / 1.1 and TCP. These protocols have become one of the causes of delaying the image delay and increasing the waiting time of web pages. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a QUIC-DASH system applying the UDP-based transmission protocols QUIC and HTTP / 2 to the MPEG-DASH system after analyzing various transmission protocols and development process of HTTP. Through experiments, the QUIC-DASH system confirmed the possibility of providing optimal performance in terms of transmission speed of LTE environment than existing system. We also suggest various future studies for better performance.

  • 최근 인공지능의 급부상과 함께 서비스 로봇은 물론 산업용 로봇에 이르기까지 ICT 융합을 통한 HRI(Human Robot Interaction) 지능화가 가속화되고 있다. 제조, 물류, 공공장소, 가정 등 다양한 환경에서 인간과 가까이 공존하며 상호작용하는 지능로봇의 안전과 성능에 기반한 신뢰성 확보는 성장하는 로봇 시장에 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 2014년 실내외에서 운용되는 개인지원로봇에 대한 기본 안전 요구 표준인 ISO 13482가 공표되고 유럽, 일본을 비롯한 세계시장은 국제 표준 에 기반한 서비스 로봇의 인증을 요구하고 있다. 이에 최근 국내 로봇 기업의 해외 시장 진출에 있어 가장 우선적으로 요구받고 있는 안전 요구조건과 검증에 필요한 위험 평가 프로세스를 소개하고 서비스 로봇의 안전 및 성능 평가 기술과 표준에 대하여 살펴본다.
