미국 국립표준원(NIST), 전기전자공학회(IEEE) 등의 주도로 진행중인 스마트그리드 프로젝트에서는 미래 전력시스템을 위한 통신망으로 인터넷 기반의 단일화된 통신망을 유력한 후보로 검토하고 있다. 인터넷기반의 전력통신망은 최선노력서비스(best-effort-service)를 기본으로 하기 때문에 종단간 지연을 보장할 수 없으며 패킷 손실이 발생할수 있다. 따라서 기존 전력통신망이 보장해주던 높은 통신 품질과 보안성을 보장해주지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 그리고 미래의 전력관련통신서비스가 인터넷 기반의 통합망에서 사용가능한지 검증하여 본다. 이를 위해 현재의 전력시스템에서 사용되는 통신 서비스들로부터 품질, 보안성 동의 요구조건을 도출하고 이를 바탕으로 스마트그리드 환경에서 추가 될 통신 서비스들이 미래 인터넷 기반통합망에서 사용가능한지를 검증하여 본다. 마지막으로 현재 인터넷 기술로 만족하지 못한 요구조건을 수용하기 위한 해결방안을 제시한다.

초고속인터넷서비스란 이름으로 국내에 인터넷의 붐을 촉진시킨 ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) 서비스가 가입자망의 한 형태인 FTTC(Fiber To The Curb)를 이용하여 밀집 주거지역(주로 아파트)을 중심으로 급격히 확산하면서 일부에서는 ADSL의 특성상 건물의 구내통신선로설비 부분이 서비스의 품질을 저하시킬 수 있다는 우려가 대두되었다. 본 논문에서는 아파트의 구내통신선로설비가 어떤 상황인지를 점검해보고 서비스 품질에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요소가 무엇인지, 영향을 미친다면 어느 정도인지, 그리고 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 구내통신선로설비 차원에서 사전에 해소되어야 할 요소가 무엇인지를 살펴본다.

각 기업에게 신뢰성있는 가상 인트라넷 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는, 통신망의 품질, 기업내부 정보의 보호 등을 확실하게 보증할 수 있어야 하며, 기업 업무에 필요한 각종 응용 서비스를 제공하여야 한다. 본 고에서는 이러한 가상 인트라넷의 개념 구조를 제시하고, 이 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기술적 요구사항인 백본망의 고품질 및 VPN 기술과 기업 응용 서비스 기술을 분석하며, 미국, 일본 등의 통신사업자 및 서비스 제공자들이 제공하는 서비스의 동향을 소개한다. 우리나라에서는 아직까지 이러한 서비스가 도입되지 않았으나, 자체 기업망을 가지지 못한 중소기업이나 기관 등에게 업무의 효율성 증진 및 경쟁력 강화를 위해 상당히 유용하리라 예상된다.

Recently, the voice service over a mobile communication system tends to be provided based on the packet-based technology. Even though the sufficient transmission rate is supported by LTE mobile communication system, the quality of VoIP service that is experienced by the user can be degraded by the change in the transmission conditions and the terminal mobility. This paper has established an environment on which experiments are conducted for the different values of the major parameters that represent the transmission conditions. The result can contribute to the decision of the requirement that the mobile system should meet for maintaining the quality of VoIP service.

본 고는 전화망에서 가입자가 적정 수준의 서비스를 받고 있는지의 여부를 수치로 나타내서, 이 수치가 항상 가입자에게 만족스런 상태로 서비스가 제공되고 있음을 나타내도록 하는 기준값을 얻기 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 국내의 전화망의 특성을 파악하고, 이에 따른 품질척도에 대한 실측이 수행되었으며, 또한 가입자가 느끼는 서비스에 대한 만족도를 조사하였다. 측정된 각각의 품질척도와 이에 대한 가입자의 만족도를 바탕으로 다이얼톤지연, 다이얼후지연, 그리고 블로킹률에 대한 기준값을 구하였다.

With the intensity of competition and the standardization of technical attributes in telecommunications service market increasing, differentiated activity and customer experience in service encounter is regarded as an important means for creating customer value, however, there is a dearth of good literature examining what MOT activity is composed of according to consumption chain, and how service quality of MOT has influenced customer performance. Especially there exist various services across different phase of Product life cycle(PLC) in household telecommunication service market, customer requirement for MOT might depend on whether its phase is introduction-growth stage or maturity-decline stage, the empirical study is completely lacking. This study classified household telecommunication services into two types by PLC, VOIP and IPTV as Introduction-growth stage services, Internet and PSTN as maturity-decline stage service, and investigated whether there exists a gap between service types in how consumer have experienced MOT, what they consider as important and the relative importance of quality dimension how service quality of MOT has influence on consumer performance. The empirical result from 858 participants shows that there is a difference in consumer experience and requirements across different phases of the PLC, tangibles and assurance are regarded as the most important service quality factors which have a positive influence on customer performance (consumer satisfaction, repurchase intention and word of mouth) at the introduction-growth stage, whereas, reliability, empathy and interactivity are at the maturity-decline stage. Finally, managerial implication is made, limitation is clarified and a direction for further studies is suggested.

요즈음 세계적인 유수 통신 사업자들이 새로운 서비스로 가장 큰 관심을 나타내고 있는 것이 IPTV이다. 이는 통신 사업자들이 브로드밴드 IP 네트워크 환경에서 비디오, 음성 및 데이터 정보들을 다양한 형태의 새로운 서비스 패키지로 엮어서 이용자들의 요구에 가장 잘 적응할 수 있게 만든 서비스 모델이 IPTV 서비스이기 때문일 것이다. 그런데 IPTV 서비스가 이용자들에게 고품질의 서비스 및 다양한 부가기능을 갖춘 고기능 부가서비스로 다가갈 뿐만 아니라 효율적인 통신 서비스 시장을 형성하여 나가기 위해서는 표준화의 요구 사항을 만족시켜야 할 것이다. 그러나 IPTV 관련 기술 및 서비스 기능들이 네트워크, 서비스 기능 및 특성, 가입자 액세스 기술, 서비스 품질, 네트워크 특성들이 고려된 종합적인 IPTV 표준화가 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 각국의 통신 사업자뿐만 아니라 서비스 사업자 및 가입자 시스템 벤더들은 브로드밴드 통신 시장의 수요에 따라 IPTV 서비스의 endto-end 상호운용성(Interoperability)을 제공하기 위한 IPTV 표준화에 경쟁적으로 참여하고 있다. 최근에 ITU-T는 IPTV의 표준화를 위한 포커스 그룹 결성을 위한 준비 모임을 오는 4월 초에 제네바에서 개최하고 7월경에는 공식적으로 표준화 조직으로 결성할 예정이다.

인터넷 서비스의 수요가 급증함에 따라 정보통신서비스 제공기법에서도 사용자에게 보장된 네트워크 품질 제공을 할 수 있도록 SLA(Service Level Agreement) 도입의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 서비스 품질내부자원 활용도를 증가시키고 타 기업간의 경쟁에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 서비스 제공자와 사용자간의 협약인 SLA 제공이 이루어져야 한다. 최근 국내 몇 IDC 업체들로부터 SLA 제공이 시작되고 있으나, 국내 IP 기반 통신서비스 제공업체에서는 SLA 제공이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 IP 기반 통신망에서 필요한 SLA를 분류하고, 각 SLA에 영향을 미치는 네트워크 요소들을 살펴봄으로써, 기업에서는 SLA 제공을 통해 이용 가능한 네트워크 자원을 최적화 함과 동시에 사용자들에게 품질이 보장된 다양한 서비스를 제공한 수 있게 될 것이다.

Tactical communication environment evolving for the purpose of providing services such as voice, video and text based on ALL-IP. Therefore, To be able to guarantee QoS level which meets the required level of subscriber for these services in the constrained tactical communication infrastructure, it is required to take the characteristics such as wireless transmission link, mobility of troops or personal into service quality scheme. In this paper, to support differentiated QoS for each individual or mission in the tactical communication environment, we presents a technique that can provide same QoS level which was served originally regardless of the situation to user's move through dynamically determining the QoS level to be provided at the time of the service request on VoIP-Switch.

모바일 IPTV는 무선 인터넷 망을 이용하여 방송 서비스를 제공하는 기술로서 IPTV에 이동성이 더해진 기술이다. 고속의 이동환경에서 언제, 어디서나 고품질의 TV 및 VoD, 데이터 서비스를 제공해 주는 모바일 IPTV 서비스를 실현하기 위해 각 기술과 서비스들이 연구 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IPTV 표준화 동향에 대해서 분석하고 고품질의 모바일 IPTV 서비스 품질을 보장해주기 위한 핵심기술에 대해서 기술한다. 그리고 Mobile WiMAX와 3GPP/LTE 기반의 모바일 IPTV 시스템에 대해 기술한다.
