반도체 공정은 웨이퍼가 투입되어 완제품이 생산되기까지 수백개의 제고공정을 수개월에 걸쳐 진행해야 하는 매우 복잡하고 긴 공정으로 구성되어 있다. 대부분의 공정들은 먼저가 철저히 통제되는 클린 룸에서 진행되지만 아주 미세한 먼지 하나도 반도체 칩의 성능과 수율 을 저하시키는 요인이 된다. 반도체 칩의 불량은 특정 생산장비에서의 이물질 발생, 생산장비의 잘 못된 파라미터 값 설정 등 다양한 요인에 의해 발생될 수 있으며 불량의 원인을 요인별로 파악하여 신속하게 대처하는 것이 수율 개선의 핵심이 된다. 이를 위해 SPC 시스템, MES 그리고 6-시그마 등의 활용을 통한 다양한 수율개선 노력이 있었으나 공정의 복잡성과 대용량의 수집 데이터로 인해 기존의 통계적 방법이나 엔지니어의 경험적 분석방법으로는 미처 파악하지 못 하는 수율 저하 요인이 상당 수 존재한다. 본 논문은 군집화/분류, 순차패턴 등의 데이터마이닝 기법과 다차원분석(OLAP)도구를 활용하여 수율저하의 원인이 되는 문제공정, 문제장비, 그리고 잘못된 파리미터 값 설정 등을 신속하고 정화하게 파악하여 수율 개선을 지원하는 방법을 소개하며, 반도체Fabrication공정을 대상으로 실제 구현된 수율개선 시스템(Y-PLUS)을 설명한다.

Due to recent increases of typhoon damages primarily owing to heavy rainfall and stron wind, estimation and analysis of a typhoon's influence has become more important. In this perspective, the statistical models to estimate the rainfall rate during a typhoon were presented in this paper. Central pressure of the typhoon is modeled to be the primary parameter affecting typhoon rainfall rate while relative angle and distance between the center of typhoon and the specific location for observation are secondary variables. Comparisons between the estimated rainfall rate of these models and the observed value in the duration of Typhoon NARI(2007) were analyzed to confirm the availability of these models. The result shows that the present statistical models can estimate typhoon-induced rainfall around Korean Peninsular to some extent.

Due to misbehavior of blackconsumer, companies bear higher financial burden and innocent consumers are also damaged. This study identified the characteristics of blackconsumer and their differences by demographics. Also this study scrutinizes the effects of blackconsumer characteristics on retaliation intention and self-justification. The analyses results identified three factors composing blackconsumer, namely deliberation, recidivism and persistency. Ages of 50s and 40s showed higher in persistency and 40s and 30s are higher in recidivism. Also the results showed that deliberation has a significant influence on self-justification where as recidivism and persistency have on both retaliation intention and self-justification.

Online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 10 million players in South Korea and over 30 million in Japan in 2005. The popularity of online games can be attributed to the availability of broadband network, pushing online games into the mainstream entertainment culture. The age distribution of online game players is expanding and a variety of new games are under development to target certain age groups. While the interactive entertainment market continues to expand, with many new online game publishers entering Japan, relatively little is known about which factors influence online game players' behavioral intentions to play continuously in this area. It appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the difference, among the types of players, in demographic and social trends, perceptions related to game-design factors, and attitude toward the games. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the differences between hardcore and casual players have been analyzed, and interesting conclusions have been provided concerning the online-game design and development strategies for Japan online-game players.

This study investigated one of the contemporary issues in the Korean capital market and two hypotheses of concern were tested on the financial determinants of profitability for the firms belonging to the Korean chaebols during the era of the post-global financial turmoil. The first hypothesis applying conditional quantile regression (CQR) estimation provided the evidence that leverage ratio, fixed asset utilization, and foreign ownership among the nine quantitative explanatory variables, had overall statistical significance relative to the book-valued profitability measure, while additional variables such as a firm's size, fixed and a proxy for the type of exchange market showed their strong impacts on the market-valued profitability indicator. Concerning the formulated 'extended' DuPont system, only two components of EBITDAEBIT and EMULTIPLIER revealed their prominent influence on ROE (Return on Equity) over the two tested periods (the years 2008 and 2012).

품질 관리의 목표는 최종제품의 품질 보증에 있다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 품질 특성이 명확해야 하며, 동시에 품질 특성치에 영향을 주는 공정의 여러 변동 요인을 분명히 해야 한다. 실험계획법(Design of Experiments)은 특성에 영향을 미치는 여러 인자를 선정하며, 또한 이들의 관계를 알아보기 위한 실험을 실시하여 제품의 최적 제조조건을 경제적으로 찾아내는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 실험계획법을 사용하여 유량을 최적화하는 요인을 선정, 얻어진 데이터를 통계적 방법으로 분석하여 최적의 조건을 나타내었다.

이론적으로, 국가경제에 있어서 인구구조(人口構造)의 변화(變化)는 인적자본(人的資本) 형성 및 노동공급(勞動供給), 각 주체들의 소비(消費) 저축행위(貯蓄行爲) 등의 장기적(長期的) 추세(趨勢)를 결정짓는 중요한 요인으로 인식되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 연령별(年齡別) 인구구조 변화가 거시경제변수인 가계소비(家計消費), 금리(金利) 및 경상수지(經常收支)에 미치는 영향에 대하여 이론적(理論的)인 모형(模型) 제시(提示)와 함께 실증분석(實證分析)을 시도하였다. 이론적 모형에서는 인구구조 변화와 이러한 거시경제변수들간의 관계를 평생소득가설(平生所得假說)에 의거하여 설정하였으며, 실증분석 결과는 실제로 인구구조 변화의 거시경제적 효과가 통계적(統計的)으로 유의성(有意性)이 매우 높게 나타나고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 그러나 가계소비와 경상수지의 경우, 장년층인구(壯年層人口)의 상대적(相對的) 증가(增加)는 경제전체의 평균소비성향(平均消費性向)을 낮추고 경상수지(經常收支)를 개선(改善)하는 요인인 것으로 분석되어 평생소득가설에 잘 부합하고 있는 반면, 금리(金利)의 경우에는 장년층인구 증가가 금리를 상승(上昇)시키는 요인으로 나타나고 있어 평생소득가설에 상반(相反)되는 모습을 나타내고 있다.

무선인터넷 서비스에 대해 본 연구자는 사용자들이 휴대폰을 이용해 무선인터넷 서비스를 사용할 때 어떠한 동기를 가지고 사용을 하는지에 대해 실증연구를 하였다. 설문조사는 무선인터넷 사용자를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 요인분석과 회귀분석을 통해 결과를 분석하였다. 무선인터넷의 접속 시작 단계부터 과금이 되므로 접속을 위해 버튼을 누르는 행위 자체를 서비스의 소비(consumption)로 정의하였다. 사용동기는 내생적이며 즐거움을 추구하는 hedonic한 측면과 어떠한 과업을 수행하기 위한 실용적인 utilitarian한 측면으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 종전의 소비에 대한 hedonic/utilitarian 측면에 대한 연구는 유선인터넷 이용과 소비자 쇼핑행동에서 많이 이루어졌다. 이들 연구를 바탕으로 해서 무선인터넷 서비스 사용동기에 대한 모형을 추출하였다. 두 가지 동기요인에 의해 무선인터넷 고객집단을 네집단으로 세분화하여 이들의 휴대폰 보유실태, 무선인터넷 사용실태, 속성 중요도 평가 및 만족도, 인구통계적 특성을 비교해 본 결과 유의한 차이가 발견되었다. 본 연구는 무선인터넷 서비스에 대한 연구를 하는 연구자들과 서비스 제공업체에 무선인터넷 서비스 이용자들에 대한 이론적/실무적 시사점을 줄 것이다.

본 논문에서 우리는 범함수 회귀모형을 이용한 양파의 성장단계별 무게를 예측할 수 있는 새로운 통계적 추정방법을 제안한다. 여기서 우리는 풍속, 평균온도, 강우량, 일조량 그리고 습도 등 나타내는 환경요인들을 설명변수들로 사용하고, 양파의 성장단계별 무게를 반응변수로 사용하여 범함수 회귀모형을 적용하였다. 먼저 그래프분석과 상관분석을 통하여 우리는 일일 평균온도는 양파의 무게 증진에 가장 큰 양의상관이 있고, 풍속이나 습도 그리고 일조량들은 양파의 성장에 약간의 영향력이 있으며 강우량은 양파의 성장에 전혀 도움이 안됨을 알 수 있었다. 두 번째로 범함수 회귀 분석을 통하여 얻어진 각 환경요인들에 대한 회귀계수들의 그림을 통하여 우리는 양파의 성장 기간 동안에 이들의 무게를 향상시키기 위해서는 어떻게 환경요인들을 관리해야 되는 가를 알 수 있는 재배방법을 유도하였다.
